Creekside 2 BR overlooking waterfall and golf course

Imagine starting your morning drinking coffee listening to the rushing waters of the waterfall just beyond your deck. Completely renovated, pet friendly, 2 bedroom apt (independent mother in law suite) includes a spa inspired bathroom, granite counters, reclaimed materials and a wood burning fireplace. Located in a gated mountain community that offers golf, tennis, pickleball, 2 pools, 110 acre lake with beach, restaurant, and amazing sunsets. Easy access to state parks & national forests, charming towns, wineries & breweries means endless adventures.
Owners are on-site in a completely separate area of the building - you have a private entrance, living space & deck.
Golf cart and fishing boat are available for additional fee.
NOTE-the exterior photo shows entire house-rental is a 2 bedroom duplex unit at one end of the house completely independent from the owners portion.
We are dog friendly for pets under 40lbs who are house trained, flea free and well behaved. There is an additional $125 fee for dogs.
This is a gated mountain community with 24 hour security. You will need to show ID to enter.
For those not familiar with the area-note that the roads are curvy and hilly-there are no streetlights so it is dark when the sun goes down. Our unit is about 10 minutes from front gate.
Our security utilizes radar for speeding. Tickets will be issued and fines assessed. The speed limit is 20 MPH.

Such a lovely stay! Our family had a wonderful time. The home is comfortable and peaceful and has everything you need to enjoy your stay (even down to taco seasoning!) The common spaces like the beach, lake, and bocce ball court were great additions and so so close to the apartment. We hope to stay again soon!

This VRBO was spot on for our grandma, daughter, and granddaughter getaway. Quaint environment. Very clean and welcoming for us girls. Todd and Kim Jackson were the perfect hosts, quite accommodating, yet unobtrusive. It was truly a pleasure to have shared their duplex home with them. 10 out of 10.

Lovely getaway

Our trip to Bent Tree was great. The pool is huge and has a diving board plus other activities like ping pong. Location was perfect to travel to horseback riding, Amacacola Falls, and the theater in Jasper. The accomodations were nice. Beds were comfortable and Kim was available to answer questions. Hope to visit again in the future.

We needed a place to stay a few days for a funeral. We found this place to be cozy and comfortable. Had everything we needed and more. The creek was great to listen to and it helped us to relax. Ms. Jackson was very kind and accessible. We recommend this place for a getaway.

Wonderful stay

Everything was great. This was our second visit and the place never disappoints. It’s very clean and in a beautiful area with a creek behind the property. The hosts are great and I love their pug Garth. Overall, it was a great stay.

Great 2-night stay

We had a delightful stay. Listening to the stream while reading in the sun was so relaxing. And what a treat to be at "bird level" with binoculars! My daughter enjoyed walking around by the water, and we watched at least 6 deer while driving around the loop. This is a lovely place, and the decor is refreshing.

Great hosts and a well done renovation

The cabin was extremely well done inside and the hosts were great. The kids loved the sliding rock in the creek. The driveway is a little sketchy but not too bad if you're used to the roads in the area.

Perfect Creekside Hideaway

My family of 4 stayed in this super comfortable and well -appointed spot for 3 nights. The hosts have thought of everything to make the stay relaxing and easy. The creekside location can’t be beat and relaxing on the deck is a must! Communication was excellent and check in/check out was a breeze. Bent Tree has so much to offer from the lake to the golf course to the horseback trail rides and so much more. Great stay! I highly recommend.

Our getaway

They were very nice as last time that I stayed there. Their home is always clean and welcoming, the waterfall behind the house is very peaceful and enjoyable. A wonderful place to stay . My only advice is to get there before it gets dark It's very hard to navigate in the dark.

Guests of Bent Tree Beware!

We stayed here last year & loved it. This year we were very disappointed as were NOT aware of a hidden speed trap placed on a downhill slope around a corner! If you happen to accidentally go over 20mph, you'll get hit with a $50 fine (each time)! How can anyone stay below 20mph going downhill?? We weren't made aware and we will never be back! We don't appreciate guests being targeted to bring more revenue to the HOA.
