Step into this tropically furnished 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit number 701 located midpoint in the complex. The end unit provides ample green space, privacy and minimal contact with adjacent unit. Colony Villas is the only all townhome (no one above or below) complex in this resort area.

This upscale townhouse has been remodelled with a contemporary expression and tropical flair. New washer, dryer, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, stove, and furniture will make your stay easy and comfortable . The 2 story townhouse has vaulted ceilings is Airy, Spacious and Comfortable. You will find everything you need to have a wonderful vacation.

Park in the designated outdoor space in front of the unit. Free WIFI, 3 TV's with lots of channels, games, snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach gear and sand toys.

On balmy 76 degree days let ceiling fans and ocean breezes stir the air or use the air-conditioning.

Privacy is ensured with a bedroom and bath on each level. The upper-level master suite enters through a Koa louvered door and boasts a handsome wood carved bed with New king memory foam mattress, walk in closet, ceiling fan and private mountainview lani.

A charming ground-floor second bedroom features a king size bed with memory foam mattress and a Roku TV.

Play tennis, pickle ball or enjoy the air-conditioned gyms. Relax at the tropical pools featuring gas BBQs, a unique lava rock waterfall and spa or an 18”deep toddlers area. A third grilling station is just steps from the townhouse.

Located on Hawaii's Kohala Coast with the Big Island's sunniest beaches and weather, 18 miles north from Kona Airport. 10 minutes away you will find pristine palm-studded Anaeho’omalu Beach (A Bay) which offers a sandy beach with sports activities and rentals, shoreline paths and ancient royal fish ponds. The resort offers three terrific golf courses (within walking distance), Kings' Shops & Queens' Marketplace with shops and restaurants. Popular beaches close by include Mauna Lani Beach Club and Hapuna Beach State Park.

Great Stay, great amenities

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. Beautifully decorated home with great detail. Thank you so much for the welcome coffee and it was nice to have a great kitchen to cook in with some small staple items there to use such as spices. The beds were super comfortable. The location was great!

Great Place to stay

The rental unit was just as depicted. Very clean with all the amenities you would want with a fully stocked kitchen and tons of beach accessories. We would highly recommend this rental unit as you won't be disappointed!

Ideal place to stay for vacation

Our stay at this condo was very comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms and facilities are very clean and have everything you need. The beach supplies were well stocked and we could enjoy everything on the beach. In addition, the owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any troubles. We would definitely like to stay at this condo again next time I visit the Big Island and would recommend it to everyone!

Excellent rental!!

We come to the island once a year and this is BY FAR the cleanest rental we have stayed at. All the beach stuff in the garage was great for a day at the beach. We will definitely rent this place next time. We've stayed in the colony villas before and it's super quiet and chill. Again super clean!

Beautiful and perfect stay

My family enjoyed our stay at Tim and Sharon’s property. It’s so beautiful and clean in a gated community. We felt like home away from home as the unit has everything we needed for our trip. The owners were very thoughtful and welcomed us with a bag of Kona coffee. The concierge manager Bennett was wonderful and recommended a few restaurants and my family enjoyed the meet and greet with Bennett. We definitely will recommend Sharon and Tim’s place to our family.

Comfortable and welcoming

Spent a short week here within the Colony Villas (first time) and was very pleased with the property. Well maintained, comfortable and the CV development has a nice pool / spa and several BBQ's for communal purposes. Personal visit by the Property Manager was a welcome and enjoyable added touch. Will consider again in the future!

Luxurious, clean and best of all.... Quiet!!

This condo had a fabulous interior designer. All of the features are top quality. I am a VERY PICKY person when it comes to choosing the right condo and this one was perfect. It was also immaculately clean. We loved talking with Nancy! She was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be coming back.

Perfect!

We’ve been going to Hawai’i almost every year for the past 20 years and the Big Island for the past eight years with the exception of 2020. We always stay in Waikoloa and of all the condos or townhomes we’ve rented, this has to be the best one. It’s immaculate, well decorated, smells amazing and is fully stocked with everything you need for the perfect stay. This unit is moving to the top of my Waikoloa list! We will definitely book this one again. Mahalo nui loa!

Great home away from home

There are so many great things about this condo. The communication with the owners was on point. The concierge service they have with Bennett and Nancy is something we haven’t had before renting from VRBO. It was nice having people local to ask questions and to get ideas of things to do and places to eat. The house is very neat and clean and well stocked. There are coolers and beach chairs and umbrellas and towels to use which makes it really nice when you’re coming over from the mainland and can’t bring those things with you. The gated community is well-maintained and you feel secure staying here. My husband two sons would really like to come back to the Big Island and stay at this unit again. Mahalo!

Beautiful and comfortable

This was our 4th time staying at the Colony Villas development, and 1st time in this particular townhome. We could tell right away that this is not just a short-term rental, but someone’s vacation home - the finishes are high-quality and the home is tastefully decorated. The unit is very well stocked, from all the beach gear (including beach towels) to every kitchen appliance imaginable. This will sound weird, but it has the best, most functional kitchen sink ever! I am absolutely stealing that idea. Communication with the owner, as well as the property manager (Bennett), was easy. We had a question about AC system and Bennett addressed it very quickly. This development is very conveniently located within a 15 minute drive of some of the best beaches on the island (Hapuna, Mauna Kea, etc.). Queens Marketplace (grocery shopping) in numerous restaurants can be found nearby. We will definitely be back and hope to stay at this property again.

A True Gem!

My family and I loved staying at this gorgeous condo. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and felt brand-new. The recent renovation (granite countertops, new flooring, high-end fans and more) was well done and high-end. The condo is well-stocked with beach gear (snorkel fins and masks, beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys, coolers for drinks or lunch, etc.) family games, kitchen appliances, kitchen necessities, and bathroom supplies. The mattresses are very comfortable as were the linens and there's ample storage for clothing in the closets with hangers and new dressers. The location is quiet and relaxing, yet close to the bustle of two resorts and two small shopping malls. It's also close to the best beaches on the island for swimming and snorkeling. We had easy access to Kona and Volcano National Park too. The condo owners were very accommodating and communicative. Sharon responded within a few minutes when I had any questions during the stay. I researched where to stay on the island for days and saw a lot of very pricey options that were neither as clean nor as luxurious as this condo. Don't hesitate!

Terrible host, ok house, good location

Terrible host! OK place and good location. Waikoloa Beach tends to be windy (trade winds) so plan accordingly. On our first day as soon as I sat on one of the reclining chairs it broke. I reported the issue and requested the replacement. Next day a guy came and only removed the broken chair and moved the patio chair into the family room. We were family of 4 (2 children) so for 2 weeks we had to live with uncomfortable chair in the family room. Next day the owner called and threatened to evacuate us saying that he we were not taking care of his place. He made up the excuse that he thinks there are 8 people living in the house. He was very unprofessional and impolite. I seriously considered moving to other place and reporting to VRBO but then I didn't want to ruin our vacation so moved on with vacation activities. We are frequent VRBO users and have never had such a bad experience with any other host. I would not recommend this place. I am also planning to report the host's behavior to VRBO.

Thank you for your input. We take great pride in creating wonderful experiences for guests. With regard to the broken chair, our property manager had the cleaner/repairman go over the next day to look at the chair. The chair was unrepairable. We informed the renter of the difficulties to get furniture on the island and would do our best to replace the chair. There is a 4 seater sofa as well as a recliner so plenty of seating for 4 people. The chair has since been replaced. The cleaner/repairman ( who had cleaned the condo the day prior) mentioned the house was full of sand and in disarray and he has never seen a place look that way in such a short period of time. Great & comfortable stay on the Big Island!

We found this place to be very relaxing and spacious. It's a clean and beautiful property.

Making Memories

The condo is situated in a quiet gate community in Waikoloa Village, with nearby restaurants, shopping, beaches and lots of outdoor activities. The unit has been beautifully remodeled with a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, TVs, games, and lots of beach gear and other sporting equipment The unit had everything! Check in and out was made easy by the concierge, Bennett. He provided us with a list of his favorite local spots to grab breakfast, lunch and dinner and where to get the best coffee on the island. The hosts were an absolute pleasure, and even had a graduation gift on the counter for our daughter at the time of our arrival. A very special, personal touch. We highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit to the Big Island. Mahalo Sharon and Tim!

Wonderful, quiet condo!

So enjoyed staying here...it's a beautiful, quiet, safe location, close to restaurants, shops, beaches, and more. It's fully stocked with everything you might need for a home-away-from-home stay: kitchen with cookware, full oven, microwave, dishwasher and grill nearby; full washer and dryer; beach toys and towels; big screens and games. Internet was steady. Bed was big and comfortable too. Check-in and out are easy. Highly recommend!
