About Michele Pavillard
This is a photo of family and myself enjoying breakfast on the porch. This is my favorite activity at the Lake House!
Michele Pavillard purchased this Farmhouse in 1991
Why Michele Pavillard chose Rock Stream
We live and work nearby but coming to the lake gives me an instant feeling of "being away from it all". It allows me to take mini vacations as needed!
What makes this Farmhouse unique
Wonderful gathering place with friends and family especially in combination with the lakeside cottage.

With the exception of no towels, the property was great. Awesome historical farm house.
I am sorry you did not notice in the agreement that towels were not included. There was an option to rent but you did not request this option.. A phone call would have remedied the problem. Sorry for your inconvenience.
Great location for a large group
My family had our annual trip this year in the Finger Lakes. We rented this home. It was perfect for our family. There was plenty of beds and bathrooms for our 13 family members. We loved sitting on the front porch after a day at the wineries and Wind Farms. We had a minor maintenance issue and they responded quickly. Loved the home and the location.
Convenient, peaceful getaway
This home has everything we needed for our family reunion. The kitchen is well stocked, the home has ample space for entertainment. The beds and furniture is a little outdated, but it worked for a weekend trip. We enjoyed walking to the lake and even saw the train go by! We had a fire going nightly on the patio outside the kitchen door, which was perfect for all to enjoy. The location is ideal for a day trip to Watkins Glenn, wineries, shopping, etc. We will definitely visit again and try to rent the cabin by the lake next time. Thank you for sharing such a special home with us!
Beautiful old house!
We immensely enjoyed our stay at the lake house! With 12+ adults there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so that it didn't feel crowded. It is a HIKE up and down to the lake- our calves were stronger by the end of the week but the lake is well worth it. Would definitely NOT recommend for elderly. Upon check in you call the property manager and she runs you through everything you need to know for the week, she was lovely! We especially loved the large porch and the fact that we could all sit together on the long plastic tables provided. The only thing I would say is that the house feels a bit cluttered as all the family heirlooms are still there. There wasn't really any room for food storage in the kitchen except for on the table. The kitchen is very well equipped. All in all an excellent stay and would definitely rent again if space is required for lots of people!
beautiful home but NOT on the lake
Gorgeous place to stay- lovely house especially wonderful porch and lawn. BUT trek to and back UP from the lake an issue for everyone, even those in shape. Lake bottom is shale, not mud, water shoes a must!
Cozy, but Not a Lake House
Great house to stay at if you have a large crowd. Plenty of space for both large group and more intimate conversations and fun. Lovely grounds. Close to Watkins Glen, wineries, other interesting places. Large fantastic veranda!! "Lake House" name is misleading since you cannot even see the lake from the house - very disappointing. Walk to beach was described as difficult. We are hikers, but I would call it almost impossible and the 75 steps to it are within a foot of a cottage --embarrassing to walk past. We checked it out and then decided not to use it even though several of us wanted to swim and kayak. Great place if you are not expecting to be at the lake. I would go there again.
There is a scenic railroad and 60+ wineries, Amish market, car races and race car driving lessons, Corning Glass Museum, Mark Twain's Home, state parks with waterfalls, college towns of Geneva and Ithaca nearby
