Wonderful

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at the Beach House. We are a family of seven. We enjoyed the comfy beds, walks on the beach, the hot tub, and an amazing sunset our first night. We talked with the friendly neighbors on both sides of the house. Everything was exactly as advertised and the house had a very well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. We used the house as a base for a couple days in the North Cascades, and we also spent time at the State Parks on Whidbey Island. It was nice to have the isolation of the beach and the conveniences of Oak Harbor. Our favorite brunch was at the Island Cafe in Oak Harbor, and our favorite dinner was at The Front Street Grill in Coupeville. We would definitely come back again!

Absolutely amazing!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Carolyn's stunning home for a moms-weekend-away. Our group of exhausted moms loved the spacious, well decorated, clean and beautiful house. Everything one can possibly need was there. We enjoyed the long walks on the beach, found some agates and sea glass, soaked in the hot tub and just rested on the comfortable beds. Thank you for opening up your home to visitors - it was a much needed retreat for us!

Thanksgiving on Whidbey Island

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a week at this beautiful beach house. I highly recommend it. We were three generations of my family, six adults and one teenager, and it was perfect for us. The kitchen is very well supplied for cooking a big Thanksgiving meal. We had an awesome November wind storm when we arrived - the rest of our stay was calm and cold. So cozy to curl up on the couch in front of the fire while watching the ocean, which was at high tide during the day throughout our stay. The ocean is so close, it felt like we were on a boat. The house is clean, beautifully "beach" decorated, and well appointed to sleep seven. With the lake in front of the house and the ocean at the back, we had sunrises and sunsets over the water every day. There is plenty to do on Whidbey - hikes, beaches, restaurants, and shops. And this location is perfect for driving over Deception Pass rather than worrying about a ferry line. Winter on Whidbey is breath-taking. I'd like to come back and stay during the summer as well.

Coming Back!!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at this property with my husband during winter of last year. The house was/is outstanding and spectacular!.... and the views were too!!. Loved the design of the home. I felt right at home. We have rented VRBO's in 8 different states and have had over 2 dozen different property.

Cindy's place is by far the best!!!

Thank you

A perfect location for a family retreat

  • 5 of 5

My family went to Whidbey Island to celebrate a number of anniversaries and just spend time together. This home was ideal! Beautiful views of the water, an enormous deck, and plenty of places to eat and to prepare group dinners. Carolyn went above and beyond to take care of us while we were visiting and dealt with a minor plumbing issue promptly and efficiently when it arose. The home itself is beautiful and well appointed. It was like staying at a friend's place.

I hope we can go back again soon. Really can't say enough good things about this wonderful home.

Fantastic retreat

  • 5 of 5

We chose this home as a retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle and we were not disappointed. The home was clean and stocked and the master bed was quite comfortable. Plenty of room for several people though there were only two of us. The weather was great, the view was awesome and you are close enough to the water that you can hear the waves even with the doors and windows closed. We spent the majority of our time on the deck and walking the beach. Wifi works well for those who need to stay connected. We even had an eagle watch over us from the roof of the neighbors home. Would definitely recommend this home and would love to return in the future.
