Charming Soundside Home including Golf Cart, Kayaks, Bikes & Linens-Emerald Isle

Beautifully appointed and remodeled home at Emerald Isle within only 1/2 block of Bogue Sound and a short 10 minute walk (or 5 minute golf cart ride) to the Lee Avenue beach access. Relax on the screened porch with a cup of coffee in the morning or in the evening with a glass of wine. You may spot a few deer going through the yard which are a delight to kids and adults alike. Three bedrooms (all with new queen mattresses- a queen and twin air mattress for a tag-a-long guests), two baths with a brand new outdoor shower (Carport level). Amenities included in the rental are: 2 kayaks with paddles, 1 stand up paddle board, boogie boards, 4 bikes (bring your own helmets), 10 beach chairs, Shibumi, beach umbrella, ping pong table, sand/beach toys and corn hole. Games and puzzles are also included along with beach towels, sheets/pillows/blankets for beds (triple sheeted) and towels for bathrooms, outdoor shower and kitchen. The home also offers a fully equipped kitchen, large walk in closets, washer and 2 dryers. A golf cart is included in the rental unlike many homes on the island. All these extras are huge cost savings for our guests, especially considering you typically have to rent linens, kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, and a golf cart. This home has everything. Just bring your food and clothes!

Great family vacation!

This is a great spot for your next family vacation at Emerald Isle! The house is clean and comfortable and the location is great. You are close to the beach and plenty to do. The property owners provide many things you will need for your stay so there is less to pack...always a plus when traveling with kids! The owners go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and are highly responsive. Ping pong table was great too!

This house is one of the loveliest we’ve stayed at - it is beautifully decorated and comes equipped with everything you need for a week away! Not having to pack sheets and towels was a game changer for our group of 6. Host responses were always prompt. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Spotlessly clean, well-appointed and lovingly decorated home with great amenities like a golf cart, kayaks, chairs and beach bikes. Felt right at home...enjoyed the screen porch and deck for outdoor dining. Wish it was a bit closer to the beach, but the golf cart makes up for this. Would stay there again!

Great place to stay in Emerald Isle

We had a fabulous week in Emerald Isle and much of that was due to staying in this house. Use of the golf cart for beach (parking right at the beach access) and ice cream trips was so fun and convenient. We also enjoyed spending time at the house playing ping pong or hanging out and watching movies. The owners were very responsive and great to work with. We'd stay here again, and again!

Phenomenal experience!

The hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was fantastic. The golf cart was great for getting around the island. All instructions for use were extremely helpful. We used the kayaks and paddle board and the kids loved having the ping pong table. Would absolutely stay again!

Spring get away

This house is a perfect get away with an amazing location and amazing amenities. Our host was fantastic and the attention to detail at this property is well thought out. The golf cart and the bikes were put to use during our stay and we especially appreciated the friendliness of everyone we met along the trip! True southern hospitality! Our family had a wonderful time on Emerald Isle. The property was very convenient and in a quiet area. Relaxing Beach Getaway

We loved this lovely beach getaway with so many wonderful amenities that made our stay enjoyable for us and all of our children. The home was clean and well stocked with things to make our stay welcoming. The screened in porch was a quiet place to start the day! The location was perfect with easy access to the beach and the sound. So many things to brag about. We would definitely recommend this rental and hope to be back.

All the amenities!

This house has all the amenities you need for a relaxing beach stay. It is truly like staying at a friend's home. Angela was incredibly attentive and you can tell this home is more than a rental, but her sanctuary she is sharing with her guests. The host was very invested in our enjoyment of our stay. Our family especially enjoyed the outdoor living spaces, which were great rain or shine. The location is perfect for day trips to areas of intrest nearby. We enjoyed discovering the charming town of Swannsboro.

Beach vacation

The house is great and the owner was very responsive but there are a lot of dos and don’ts. It’s a little hard to completely relax and not worry about accidentally doing something wrong. The primary access to the beach via golf cart was closed for bridge repairs the first part of our week. That was inconvenient! But the screened porch and the outdoor shower made up for everything!

Thank you for being our guest Robbie. We are sorry they had to close the road. We didn’t realize it was closed again as it had opened when we were there a couple of weeks before. No one had mentioned it to us and unfortunately we had no control over it. I’m glad they opened it for the remainder of your stay and it looks as though the work is complete now. As for rules, I’m sorry you were inconvenienced by any of the instructions we have for our guests. It’s rather meant to help answer any questions anyone may have about how to use Alexa, the TV, and check out instructions. We’re happy you enjoyed the outdoor shower, the golf cart and above all, Emerald Isle.

The house was well decorated and welcoming. Loved screened in porch for early morning coffee. Well stocked kitchen. The yard was beautiful with flowers and planters. Golf cart was a plus to get back and forth to beach and get ice cream. Had everything there that you would need for the beach. Hostess, Angela was awesome! She was quick to respond to text and answer questions. Love everything was labeled and directions were typed out placed throughout house from how to use Alexa to what to do before leaving. The notebook full of helpful information was great!

Perfect Home for your Family Retreat or Girl's getaway!

Beautifully decorated and immaculate home was the perfect getaway for our family of 4 (2 grown sons 24 & 25). Amazing resort touches with fragrant hand soaps in each bathroom, spa towels, fantastic cuisinart coffee maker, and access to all the toys needed to keep us all entertained. Private and beautifully landscaped, we saw deer early morning on the property and heard an owl several nights from the screened porch. The screened porch is set up for some serious R&R, reading or a glass of wine and it has beautiful edison string lights for the night. Close by and easy access to lots of great restaurants, and to catch the sunset off the sound. Owner was fantastic with communication! We would love to come back again - so glad I found this home on my VRBO search!

We have deep roots in Eastern NC and not only grew up near here, but have vacationed here since we were kids. Our family visited the island before there was a bridge connecting it to the mainland. It's a special place to us and we have always wanted to have our own little piece of paradise here. We hope you will visit and see the small touches we have added to insure you are comfortable and have a wonderful time with your family or friends.

We found this property in the fall of 2020 and instantly loved it. The porch is so welcoming and delightful to enjoy when you're having a cup of coffee in the morning or visiting with friends in the afternoon. The trees around us give lots of privacy and our street is very quiet too. This neighborhood is the best kept secret on the island, so we know you'll love exploring while you're here. There are several sound access paths and docks so you can catch a sunset in the afternoon!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The cottage is less than a mile from both the center of the town of Emerald Isle and the Lee Ave beach access (with Golf Cart Parking). We love going over in the morning for sunrise. Emerald Isle has the best sunrises! And sunsets! We enjoy using our bikes to explore the neighborhood and also driving them on the walking paths along Emerald Drive to the pier, also only 1 mile away. Publix, Foodlion and CVS are only 2 miles away!
