Kamaole Sands #9-111 is a beautiful island-style three bedroom, two bath suite close to the ever-popular Kamaole III Beach Park. This convenient ground-floor condo is a deluxe end-unit and boasts two lanais for your enjoyment. This unit is equipped with a kitchen, a/c, a washer/dryer, three tvs, dvd players, free wifi, and a phone with long distance in the U.S.. The master bed has a king bed, a tv, a/c, and a walk-in shower in the en suite. The second bedroom is equipped with a king bed, a/c, and a tv. Bedroom three has a/c and a bunk bed with a twin on the top and a double on the bottom. As an added bonus, a twin trundle drawer bed is also available in this room. The guest bath in Kamaole Sands #9-111 includes a convenient dual walk-in shower. The living room is equipped with a queen-sized sofa sleeper, tv, and a/c. The equipment closet is stocked with beach chairs, and beach towels. The unit sleeps 6.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.

Located across the street from Kamaole Beach III. Whale watch, swim, snorkel, walk miles on the beach and watch the most amazing sunsets imaginable. There are 15 acres of lush tropical landscaping, waterscapes, and fountains. There's a fully-equipped gym / workout facility with an amazing view overlooking the pool area. In addition there is a large family style swimming pool, two hot tubs, a children's wading pool, and 10 barbecue areas with shaded picnic tables. Kamaole Sands features two tennis courts (no fee) and three pickleball courts. Adult and junior tennis rackets and pickleball paddles are available to rent with complementary balls. Complimentary parking in a private, well-lit and security patrolled parking lot. Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are available for a fee on a first come, first served basis.Wi-Fi available in most areas and a convenient cyber cafe is in the lobby. Activity area with ping pong, foosball, and other games for all ages -- free lending library. Free Maui News daily newspaper available at the pool area. Kamaole Sands is centrally located and is in walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. It is also minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Good sized condo. Beds were comfortable and a/c worked well. New door handles on interior rooms would be beneficial. Bathroom didn't lock and orders were loose. Lots of ants even with us keeping food stored and only in kitchen. Quick and easy access to the beach! Would stay here again.

Great clean unit in very convenient Kamaole Sands. The property management is very responsive. Everything was good except that the towels provided (bath and for beach) are minimum amount while the washer is small and the dryer really did not work that well. The management gives detailed information prior to checking in including all the supplies but getting just one set of small motel type shampoo and soap for a week stay in today’s Maui rental was a bit surprising. There also was no Kleenex :(However, it is a great place for a group of six to enjoy the beautiful Maui

We had a wonderful stay. First family vacation in 3 years due to two of our kids serving oversees. The beach supplies were great and views were better. Had a wonderful time!!!

Perfect location and well equipped for our family along with beach items. It was clean but the only thing is the baseboards could really use a good cleaning and fresh coat of paint but overall very comfortable.

Amazing stay

The rental property was amazing! It was clean and had everything we could want, comfortable rooms, nice kitchen and the location couldn’t be better. There were plenty of beach toys and chairs to use at the beach just across the street. The property manager was great and accommodated us dropping our bags off early after our flight got changed and we arrived early. It was a great place to stay and I highly recommend this property to all who would visit especially those with children.

Great condo for families!

3 adults and 2 young children stayed for 2 weeks here and it was great. The condo was exactly as pictured and described. The property management company was super attentive to any issues once arrived as well. Location is great being right across the street from the beach and walking distance to many great Kihei restaurants. We also loved the outdoor space in the complex and pool area. The only downside to our stay was finding out a couple days before our arrival that the complex gym would be closed for our entire stay. I would highly recommend this condo!

Great location

The location is great and the resort amenities are good. Overall the condo is clean and has most of what you need. That said, some parts of the condo are dated, like the en suite bathroom. Compared to the rest of the condo, the bathroom was underwhelming. Also, almost all of the beach chairs have broken straps, so carrying them to the beach was more difficult than it needed to be. And finally, the one thing missing from the kitchen was any type of food storage - foil or plastic wrap or even a bowl with a lid. Based on location alone, I would consider staying again. If the bathroom gets updated, I would absolutely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice location, very close to the ocean, with a nice view. Ground floor unit was very handy with children. Grounds were spectacular, well manicured and in full bloom. Check in and check out very easy. Condo could use a face lift, two of the bedrooms were not bad, but the master bedroom/ bath was dated and the bathroom was in need of a facelift. Kitchen area was not well maintained, but had adequate utensils, except for spoons, there was only about four teaspoons. Unit was acceptable in terms of cleanliness. Nice assortment of beach chairs, boards, masks and fins and toys. Would we stay there again? Absolutely, the location was great, pool area was very nice and there was plenty of chars and loungers.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we were very disappointed with this rental. PROSLocation is phenomenal. First floor at the edge of the building was fabulous for walking to the beach!Kitchen wares (eg pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc) were relatively new (except for spoons but we managed). Easy to prepare meals.Good supply of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards.CONSOverall, this unit is very tired. The regular cleaning was fine but many things (eg the grout on the floor & showers, couch, linens, hall closet doors) need to be deep cleaned or replaced. The outlet in the dining room is sticking out of the wall so much that the outlet cover is only laying on top of it and is not attached to the outlet.The unit smells musty. Probably due to the air conditioner in one of the bedrooms that does not work. Upon arrival there was a bucket in the closet catching the water leaking from said unit. Contacted the mgmt company & they agreed to have someone bring a towel to soften the noise in the bucket & empty the water regularly throughout our stay as well as contact someone to fix the AC unit. They brought a towel but did not change it after that. Someone was supposed to come to look at the unit but to my knowledge, they did not. The room got hotter and smellier as the week went on. Not a great experience for my daughters in that room. We were refunded some of our money but it was still very frustrating that the AC was not taken care of (unless we wanted them to come in and rip up the drywall during our stay--definitely not. A repair of that size should be taken care of when there aren't renters in the unit). This was obviously an issue before we arrived that should have been taken care of before we stayed in it--or at least been alerted that there was an issue before our arrival.Would probably stay at Kamaole Sands again but not this unit unless all the issues are taken care of.

We love being on the ground floor and having the grass right behind us. The rooms were well situated and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay but offer the following for your future guests . The unit was very quiet! That was very a much appreciated. There are a few things that could have you improvement. The screen door was difficult to close unless it was pulled up hard before closing . Perhaps that could be adjusted. There were only two rolls of paper towels and we had four adults and two kids and three rooms. We also had enough toilet paper but just barely. It would have been nice to have a bit more of those things. It would have also been great to have basic condiments, there was pepper but not even salt and no condiments whatsoever. The dishwasher drain needs to be attended to, it is not getting the dishes clean every time. The laundry was great, the snorkeling gear was awesome, showers were good, beds were good, AC worked fine. The upper louvered window in the single bedroom in the back does not work, it cannot be opened or closed. The ceiling fan in that same bedroom is defective, it barely spins even when on high. The one in the other bedroom works fine so this one needs attention. Lastly we were told there was no pack and play and we went through the expense of getting and bringing one and it turned out there were three already in the unit. It would have been nice if that had not been necessary. In closing, a ground floor unit was what we wanted but we discovered later that the price was very high especially once the fees were added. With all that said, we very much enjoyed the unit and we thank you very much. Our intent is just to share info constructively and not to criticize your unit. Thank you!

Perfect place

This place was the perfect place for my family of 8! Everyone had a bed to sleep on which was essential for us it has everything we needed from beach gear to towels to laundry and dish washer soap. We enjoyed our time here. The pool area and grill area was perfect for the little ones to run around and grill dinner. The location was the best right across the beach just a short walk. The only thing is the dryer did not dry well enough and when we left it to dry it took over 2 hours for a really small infant clothes load.. we just hung up the rest of what we washed on the racks provided out side on the balcony. but we will Definitely be staying here again

Everything you need in a convenient location on Maui

Our stay was great! We appreciated that our VRBO provided beach towels and it was extremely nice to have laundry available in unit. Having dedicated and secure parking made our stay much easier. There was plenty of room for our group and we took advantage of the blender to make drinks! Both major roads are accessible from this location and some of the best beaches are just a 5-10 minute drive. You can also walk across the road where you have access to a park and a few smaller beaches.

Found this property after 1st renting another at the other end of Kihei. Check in was great, the resort was quiet in general. On site security guard at night, great location. The unit itself was clean, well maintained, and stocked with just about anything you could ask for. I would absolutely stay here again.

Overall, this condo has beautiful views of the ocean and has easy access to the beach. There was plenty of room for 6 of us. The unit does need some tlc as it’s fairly outdated. A fresh coat of paint would make it feel clean. Excellent resort and location. Thank you!

The room had a great location the only disadvantage was it’s a little outdated sheets were very uncomfortable and they only gave you enough toilet paper for two days we had six people for 10 days and it would’ve been nice not to have to spend another $20 out of our own pocket when we paid so much money to be here
