The house was clean the owners were helpful the beach at the bay is very close. Fishing was good and we had a campfire right at the waters edge! Very nice
This was a family trip to celebrate my wife’s birthday and our anniversary. The house was great for family gatherings and meals. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. We definitely would consider coming back again! We had a great time!
It was a nice house in a quiet area and great location, with the Broadkill sound on one side and the beach nearby on the other. The public beach access was just across the street and a short walk in to the sand and water!
We enjoyed our stay at Broadkill beach and we will definitely be back. Very quiet area. The house worked great for our family. Lots of room for everyone and a short walk to the beach.
Second year at this property. Everything was great!

The location of this beach house was perfect- a short walk to Broadkill beach! Close drive to restaurants. The house had a lovely outdoor shower, plenty of deck space and fully stocked kitchen dishes, etc. We found the living space small for that many bedrooms, but we were on the beach, so was not a huge deal. The house was not too clean, but overall was a good spot for a quick getaway.
The house was perfect. It had all of the essentials needed for a great vacation. Great location, a short walk to the beach, the dock was great for crabbing. The back decks were perfect to watch the sunset. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Don’t be expecting a fancy place but it was comfortable and perfect for our family. Lots of books and games and nice big kitchen table for the family to eat and play games.
The owners are very friendly and helpful. Responded quickly to any questions or requests . The view of the sound and the bay are awesome from the house . It is a great spot for a large family . I would love it if it was cleaner ,especially the kitchen . I would definitely stay there again.
We loved the house everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, any issues that arose were addressed immediately and everything was taken care quickly would definitely recommend this house!!!
Thank you so much for allowing my family enjoy your beautiful beach house! We could not have asked for a better location to enjoy both the canal and the beach. We will be booking our trip for next year!!
It was smooth sailing all the way, from check in and throughout our entire stay. The neighborhood was quiet with lots of access to water. It was almost like having the beach to ourselves and the kids loved it!
Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.
I love how quiet and peaceful broadkill beach is. We enjoyed our short get away over the last few days! House was as advertised. A couple little things needed cleaned prior to unpacking but overall a great experience! Thanks for sharing your house with us!
The views are spectacular, the house has plenty of bedrooms, it is well stocked with puzzles, games, and books. The grill and kitchen are all wonderful with everything you need and there is plenty of porch space to entertain. They provided kayaks and have their own dock to launch from. Super convenient to the ocean - 2 minute walk and is nice and quiet. Would definitely go back
The 3 levels of this house provided plenty of space and privacy for each family unit. My husband and I loved the screened back porch for morning coffee and bird songs. Our granddaughter loved the spiral stairs! Beautiful, quiet beach and calm water.
Our first trip to Broadkill Beach and it won’t be our last!! So convenient to the beach and we loved the privacy! Bedrooms on 3 different floors worked well for us. Owner very responsive to any questions we had.
Our 3-year old grandson said this morning as we were leaving “Can we all come back to this house next year?”!! That says it all!!
Had a great family week with lots of room to spread out. Wish the jellyfish weren't so thick, after a couple of stings we had to drive to Lewes or Rehobeth to get in the water. Very well equipped kitchen, but could use a deep clean and some TLC. Excellent host, quick to respond and very helpful.
Very quiet and peaceful trip. The house was was pleasant and clean. Lots of games and books for all ages. Communication with the owners was easy and got very prompt responses. Even though we decided against bringing out dog, it is a pet friendly property with some dog crates available for use.
Thank you.
We enjoyed our stay very much but were not clear beforehand that the bottom suite was only accessible by going outside to get in. Other than that, Our only complaint was a strong mothball smell throughout the house during our stay that was irritating for some family members. Overall an enjoyable stay and we would like to go back.
The house is great! Had everything we needed and Everything worked. Enjoyed spectacular sunrises over the bay and dramatic sunsets over the marsh. Beach is just a short walk over the dune and not even close to being crowded, even on a holiday weekend. We enjoyed the spacious decks, the grill and the screened in porch overlooking the lovely river and marsh. Owls, osprey, egrets, herons and birds we couldn't name entertained us. Saw a fox too! People around town were extra friendly. House is dog friendly and we were glad to be able to take our dog and alcohol on the beach. Crabbing from the dock was a great rainy day activity and we had a free crab feast! Hope to come back and do some kayaking and gave a fire on the beach, two things we didn't get around to. Thumbs up for sure! Thanks Mark and Jeanne!

Problems at 1603 S. Bayshore Drive
House needs a good cleaning. Cobwebs all over the house. Black mold in the downstairs bathroom. Fan provided in ground floor room, was full of dust, we could not use the fan. The ceiling fan by the stove stopped working. The heat shields on the barbecue were so rusty, they collapsed on the heating elements. Would not use it! It was fun to have my family here, but it left a lot to be desired
