About Liam Bruno

I love to come decompress, live in Chicago and love the peace and quite of this home. I enjoy working on this property and am continuously working to improve it.

Liam Bruno purchased this house in 2007

Why Liam Bruno chose Southwest

Saugatuck area is an oasis from my work and condo in Chicago. I feel totally recharged even after a very short stay. I grew in in Kalamazoo and visited Saugatuck many times. I have always known it was a great place!

What makes this house unique

The outdoor areas are designed for entertaining and are truly a highlight.

Very clean home, spacious property and all the amenities needed for your stay.

Liam was awesome to work with. Incredibly responsive and willing to help with anything needed. The property is secluded while not being too far away from downtown areas and/or beaches. The house was very clean and all appliances and amenities worked perfectly. Washer and dryer on site is a big plus!

The backyard, deck, screened in patio and fireplace are awesome. My family and I spent a lot of time on the deck by the fire. Oval beach is a 10 minute drive away and the same goes for downtown Saugatuk. I'd stay at Liam's again anytime and would highly recommend it if you're looking to stay in the area and want a more private place to stay.

Hidden Gem!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a great time! There was such a "home" feel to this place. We're from Chicago, so we certainly appreciated the peace and quiet! Every amenity was such a short ride away. Liam was very concerned, and accessible. The wife and I have already began to plan to return for a romantic getaway without the kids!! Highly recommended!

A great home for our girlfriend getaway

  • 5 of 5

Five of us girlfriends who are all moms, love to get away to various places to unwind, laugh, connect and relax. This home was perfect for us to do all of the above. The property owner was very accommodating and responsive. He genuinely wants each renter to have the best experience. He made himself available for anything (even though we didn't need to bother him). The home is located conveniently to various local towns. We found everything we needed in this home and truly appreciated the hospitality. Everything was clean. We made breakfast each morning but primarily ate our other meals at local restaurants. The sitting area in the living room and kitchen perfectly accommodated us. We even had 2 separate dance parties on 2 different nights between the living room and kitchen... moving the furniture out of the way slightly. We figured why pay to go somewhere that might not have the music we enjoy so we made our own playlist, dimmed the lights and brought our own mini table-top disco ball. We had a blast!!! We even appreciated the new washer and dryer and washed our bath towels each day... detergent was also included. Paper towel, toilet paper, you name it... it was there. We all agreed we'd definitely stay there the next time we wanted to be in the Saugatuck area. Our only issue was that the 5th consecutive shower did not have hot water... but that's understandable given we had 4 other hot showers. We learned to spread them out a bit so the hot water tank could rejuvenate a bit. No other complaints. We enjoyed ourselves between the surrounding towns and our own dance party that we never turned on the TV - but it appeared that everything would have been great, including surround sound speakers. You definitely want to consider staying here.. and 5 women for 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the price was a steal!

Very Nice

  • 5 of 5

Met a friend there and we both found the home very nice and we enjoyed the accommodations. Beds were very comfortable, water pressure was great - even with both showers going - and lots of hot water. Everything you would need in the kitchen was there, not that we used much. Screened in porch is great, and on two rainy days we wound up painting a couple of canvasses. Beaches in both Saugatuck and Holland were not a long distance away - who needs to go the Florida for a nice beach. Don't miss Cranes Orchard and Pie Pantry in Finnville - best pies and apple dumpling ever - really. Only problem - 2 evenings tried to watch some NetFlick Stream with not luck - started up but would freeze and not continue on, both nights. Other that that the house and yard were very nice, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Felt very much at home. We both would stay there again, given the opportunity.
