Lovely home and back yard; clean & quiet!

  • 5 of 5

This is a great getaway home; I'd recommend it to anyone who loves nature and privacy. It is very clean, well stocked kitchen w/plenty of wine glasses, a bubblegum matchine and even a little piano! Beds are comfy; nice skylight in master bath. Back yard was beautiful. Unfortunately for us it rained during our stay so we couldn't enjoy the outdoor grill or fireplace. ...BUT we cracked open the sliding door to the screened-in porch to listen to the rain...it was beautiful and relaxing! Liam was an excellent host and very inattentive. The home is nestled on a beautiful wooded lot which makes you feel like you've escaped the city HOWEVER it's only 5-8 min. scenic drive to Douglas/Saugatuck (respectively). Go stay there, you won't be disappointed!

Fabulous Stay!

  • 5 of 5

Liam the owner of the property was great to work with! The property itself was exactly what we needed and more! The large soaking bathtub in the master bedroom was a plus and very enjoyable! The decor was excellent and stylish and the linens were comfy and everything was so clean. There was much attention to detail when it came to the kitchen being fully stocked! We used the outdoor grill to grill some steaks and relaxed in the beautifully designed garden in the back yard and enjoyed the mature trees. It was oh so quiet, private and serene. Everything was close by and we enjoyed exploring the beaches and dunes and we walked for miles. We would definitely come back and while this was our couples get -away, the home is large enough, and we will bring our family next time !

Peaceful and quiet, a great place for a little get away.

  • 5 of 5

Was the perfect home away from home. The landscaping was beautiful and the home stocked with all one could possibly need. Location felt out and away, though close enough to local places of interest. Was an enjoyable experience.

Great place that's close to it all!

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This location is close to a lot of attractions in the area. The well-appointed kitchen made meals easy, and the back yard was very picturesque. While we spent most of the time out and about, we did lounge in the mornings. The TVs worked, but we were unable to get any stations on them. If you have children who would like a little cartoon time in the morning before heading out for the day, plan on bringing a DVD or two. The screened in porch was great, and we used it a lot in the evenings when the mosquitoes were out.
