In the heart of the Florentine Chianti area, just 5 minutes by car from the charming and ancient hamlet of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa and overlooking the valley and the Chianti vineyards, we propose a Tuscan-style holiday home with a shared pool and private terrace equipped for your outdoor meals! The holiday home is located in an estate that includes a villa (ITC957) and a barn divided into two apartments. The accommodation is very spacious and particularly suitable for families with children or groups of friends on holiday together. The accommodation has retained the typical features of Tuscan buildings, with exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors and some walls with stone details. The furnishings are rustic and very cosy. From one of the double rooms you have access to another private terrace. All guests of the property share a large green area near the entrance to the property, in the centre of which is the pool, which is equipped with sun loungers. From here you can go for lovely walks and mountain bike fans can take guided tours to explore the Chianti region. Cookery courses, cake design courses and wine tastings can also be organised on site on request. Information on prices and times directly on site. If you are a guest of the accommodation ITC958, the owner offers you one of the following free extra services in April, May or June: Cookery course in your accommodation. The course includes the preparation of two traditional Tuscan dishes (for example: Pappa al Pomodoro and Cantuccini) and the tasting, as well as the delivery of the corresponding recipes. The cooked dishes are then tasted by the customers. Trekking excursion along the Via Francigena in the footsteps of the pilgrims: approx. 15 km long path in the middle of the Tuscan countryside with breathtaking views; in the first stage, guests are accompanied by car to the starting point of the excursion and brought back to the accommodation at the end of the hike. Walk through the countryside to a local wine cellar and wine tasting. Half-day mountain bike tour with guide (possibility to hire mountain bikes on site). Please inform the landlady of the selected additional service together with your expected arrival time. On request and for an extra charge on site: Access to a small private SPA (1 km) with sauna, Turkish bath and massage room. You can also buy olive oil, wine and vinsanto from the owners on site.
