This quaint little beach bungalow is perfectly nestled within the trees, but walking distance to shoppes, restaurants, and the coveted beach access point leading out to the breathtaking pelican point beach! Open floor plan of the cottage features fully-stocked horseshoe-shaped kitchen with craft bar stools, 4 top dining table, adjacent cozy living room area with comfortable seating for 4 around the flatscreen tv. Two cozy bedrooms Queen, Queen) tastefully decorated each with their own full bath with shower/tub combo. Come experience all Dauphin Island has to offer whether you're a nature lover, beach lover, or a just need a little quietude. Perfect for up to four guests.

Great little place!

Our only trouble was checking in (the door code provided didn’t work) but the managers were quick to help. Excellent shower/water pressure. Beds super comfy! Near food and beaches.

Nice but not perfect for my family

The good: The property was very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the condo was nicely furnished. The not so good: Although you can walk to the beach, it is not a short walk. The public beach access is close but then you have to walk about 1/4 of a mile to get to the water. We found that it was easier and more enjoyable to drive to a different access point. We were hoping to not have to drive every time we wanted to go to the beach. The condo did not have any kind of balcony from which to sit outside and enjoy. The views are not such that you would want to do this anyway. Although the condo was clean and sufficiently furnished, there are no extras included. We found it frustrating that they only provided 4 towels, 2 dishwasher tablets, and two laundry packets for a 5 night stay. The kitchen is probably my biggest complaint. There were enough eating utensils, plates, cups, and bowls but there is not enough equipment for meal preparation. We were provided with two disposable aluminum pans for baking, one of which was dirty. This was tough since they did not give us any dish soap. They did not include any kind of cooking supplies with the exception of a minimal amount of salt and pepper. It seems that they do not expect nor encourage one to use the kitchen. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and for the pricepoint, it was sufficient. However, if we were to visit again, we would pay more and make a different choice for the reasons mentioned above.

However, there are a few more items we did intend for you to have access to at this little cottage than you were able to! You deserved a few more creature comforts than you described finding. Just about any item listed in our “Know Before You Go” email we send out upon booking can be provided to you within 24 hours if you call us and tell us you can’t find it in the house. For example, we keep a stock room of kitchen accessories, and a linen room if you don’t have the 6 towels per bathroom that is standard for all of our properties. We would love to have you come stay with us again. Thank you

This is a very nice 2 bedroom unit with comfortable beds nicely furnished. Very responsive to issues as our air conditioner failed and a technician had it fixed within a couple hours

Beautiful Small Condo

Coastal Cottage 073 is spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable! The beds are very nice. The whole condo stayed a nice cool temperature. It is close to a pubic beach, shops, and restaurants. It sits close to the main road but noise was never an issue. There is a handicap accessible ramp to this condo.

So happy with this property!

We were there for a quick weekend (two adults, two toddlers) and the space was just right—very clean, easy access into the house and from the house to the beach, super cute decor, well equipped. The en suite queen bed was pretty darn loud/squeaky! But otherwise, absolutely no complaints—would recommend.

From Arkansas to Dauphin Island..

We loved our stay here & would recommend it very highly to anyone wanting to have a good base while exploring beautiful Dauphin Island! This space was clean, welcoming, the beds were comfy, the shower was great, location even better and a super great value for the money! We will definitely be staying again!

The website pic was not accurate as it cut out the fact the “cottage” was actually 1 of 4 units. The pic only showed 1 unit as if it was a single cottage but it’s not! It’s actually a part of a 4 plex!
