Welcome to our Ohana. The Hawaiian word "Ohana" means family and embodies the spiritual quality of kindness and love for all of the human family. Our Ohana offers a modern gourmet kitchen, and a living area that is welcoming, bright and airy. Feel the ocean breeze on the lanai as you look out across plumeria trees to the expansive blue ocean waters. You may also see Whales during the winter season!! Our main lanai area offers comfortable seating and dining space along with your own expansive grassy area for yoga or other enjoyment.

In your relaxing living room, catch a movie on the large flat-screen TV, or browse the internet with the fast and free Wifi. For your cooling comfort, there is a brand new split-system A/C to both bedrooms & living/dining room, as well as ceiling fans which allow for preferred temperature in each area. A redesigned floor plan provides 2nd bedroom ocean views, guest access to the 2nd bathroom, and unrestricted laundry access (ie. not in the bathroom). The kitchen pairs Poggenpohl cabinets with Miele appliances, renowned for innovative technology. You are invited to make use of the blender, toaster, rice cooker, spices/herbs and other conveniences that are fully stocked for your dining-in pleasure. The main bedroom is furnished with Cal King bed, TV, and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Our second bedroom has 2 twin xls that can easily be converted to a King. Each bedroom also has its own private lanai with seating. There are no shared side walls with our Ohana which ensures greater privacy. Ground floor living, with zero steps, ensures no struggle up stairs with luggage or kids. You will find beach chairs, umbrellas,beach mats, as well as coolers and beach towels to make your trips to the beach carefree and relaxing. There are also 2 inviting pools within the complex along with multiple grilling areas.

For those looking to be in the heart of Wailea with easy and walkable access to all, our Ohana offers a 5 min walk to Akamai coffee as well as Wailea's elite Blue Golf Course and the tennis club. A short stroll away are The Shops at Wailea, numerous Five Star Hotels, and casual to fine dining restaurants. The closest beach, Ulua, is one of the best Maui has to offer, as well as our favorite, for snorkeling, diving or just relaxing. Wailea also features a 2-mile walking path in front of five resorts and the ocean, with many rental shops for beach and ocean activities and adventures.

We have very detailed cleaning checklists and have also implemented dual disinfecting procedures that include cleaning ALL high-touch surfaces. We also offer keyless entry for contactless arrival and departure.

Fabulous Wailea modern stay

Swati’s property has been meticulously updated with a great modern style - our family has stayed in a couple units in this area and this was the nicest property. The property is super clean, great bedrooms and bathrooms, and perfect kitchen for our stay.

The location of the property was prime and everything we did in Wailea was walking distance. The property was beyond clean and everything was brand new. The property owner was very accommodating and available. I have told all my friends this is the place to stay if you are looking for a place in Wailea. We got our spot in Maui!!

Our stay was fantastic, the condo had beautiful views on the ocean and great outdoor space for meals. Condo was super clean and well appointed! This is a great location to walk to restaurants and small grocer store. Beaches are a short walk or a quick drive. Owner did disclose that their was road noice but it really was not a bother and could not hear from indoors. We would stay again!

Loved this property! Beautiful on the inside and perfect location.

Checking in was easy and we were very pleased with how clean and nicely decorated it was. The location is great with the golf course, shops, restaurants, and beaches all within a short walk. It is very close to the road but couldn’t hear it at night. The microwave and oven weren’t working so that was an inconvenience. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful and Comfortable in Wailea

Carefully done modern and complete renovation, well stocked and perfectly maintained. Extremely clean and thoughtfully done. Plenty of natural light, nice view of the ocean (which seems closer in real life than in the pictures). Several great beaches minutes away. Beach umbrellas, chairs and boogie boards supplied. Very close to a great coffee shop, too. Some traffic noise but not enough to keep me from giving this place a solid five stars.

Marvelous in Maui

Without question this home was the perfect spot for our family. Up to the minute finishes and all the comforts of home set the backdrop for our week long stay. Such a beautiful immaculate home! Beautifully decorated. We felt like we were staying in a hotel. Tons of space and very well stocked with everything we needed. We fit comfortably with our family of 5 with 3 young kids. The location was perfect for walking everywhere to shops, grocery, coffee and beaches. We can’t wait to stay here again! Excellent location, beautiful home!

The Wailea Ekolu Villages is perfectly situated in the middle of everything at Wailea. The Shops and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away, the Wailea Tennis facility and Blue Golf course are right outside the door. The condo was immaculate, recently renovated and very tastefully decorated. Extremely comfortable and had all the appliances and amenities you could ask for. Highly recommend this rental and location. The nearest beach is a small hike and if you are carrying a lot of stuff, too far to walk, you will need a car.

Nice Place in Wailea

Place is kind of what you see in the pictures regards to decoration, but doesn't show that pretty close to one of the main access roads to the Wailea area...and also that there is another unit on top. Both make the unit a little bit noisy if you are sensitive to it. For us, was not an issue at all. Pretty well equiped with all you need for a perfect beach vacation. THanks for hosting us.

Beautiful sunsets!

We had a wonderful time!! We sat on the lanai every night and most nights we were greeted with a spectacular sunset! The condo is conveniently located to the beaches and the shops and we walked everywhere. The condo was spacious and well air conditioned and well-equipped with beach chairs, a good umbrella, and a cooler. It is true that there is a lot of traffic noise because the condo is next to the main road heading down into Wailea but we didn't let it bother us and we could still hear all the birds! Maui Family Vaca

I'm so grateful our family had the opportunity to stay in Wailea and to experience such an amazing, spotless, comfortable and convenient townhome. The totally remolded townhome was perfection. From it's lovely modern finishes to it's stunning ocean views, the home was fantastic. Home is conveniently located, walkable to coffee shops , restaurants, shopping, convenient stores and mins to several wonderful beaches. The host Mary was wonderful and always readily available to answer questions and provide assistance anytime we needed it making our vacation that more enjoyable. We found the "home guide" to be very useful and informative. The townhome is a end unit and sits next to the road. However, the property sits high above the street so the faint road noise had no impact on our stay. We absolutely adored this charming home and would definitely stay here again.

Wailea Ekolu is a great location. Recommend finding units in this older condo complex, which is not too far from the beach. Not much of a pool, but you can bike to beach. Great sunsets. #101 was remodeled with modern European cabinets and Miele appliances. Mostly clean and new. Priced higher due to new modern remodel. First unit, close to road, you will hear cars and trucks. Master bathroom shower had mold in silicon. We told the manager, Mari, who was super, super nice. Repair Day: We had a day where the manager and the owner needed to occupy the unit with a repair man for appliances. It happens. No credit or compensation. Went to a hotel and rented a cabana that day.

Moderne und toll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung

Wir haben in einer sehr schönen, sauberen, komplett und modern eingerichteten Ferienwohnung 6 schöne Tage verbringen können. Die Lage zu den Stränden in der Umgebung ist sehr gut, mehrere Strände sind einfach zu erreichen. Die Wohnung liegt zwar nah an einer befahrenen Straße, uns hat das aber nicht gestört.

Wonderful location!

This place was perfect for my family. The rental had everything we needed, and the beach gear was truly an added bonus. The only negative is the unit’s proximity to the main road. There is substantial traffic noise when sitting on the patio (which we did every morning and evening). However, everything else was perfect and thoroughly enjoyable.

Pros: This property was very clean. Great view and good location to nice beaches and restaurants. Property Managers were very nice and super helpful when the microwave did not work and brought us a new one the very next morning. Cons: The Appliances are nice, but hard to use, not very user friendly. We cooked 3 nights while there, and it was a challenge as oven does not heat to correct temperature. If you like to sit outside on the Lanai, be aware that the road noise is VERY loud. This was a big drag for us. The description does let you know there is road noise due to location, but the road located next to the unit is a main road in this area for traffic and large trucks to get to main highway. It is Very loud starting very early in the morning and not very relaxing sitting outside. If you like to eat outside at night, it is too dark. There is only one dim soffit light, making it impossible to eat outside. Adding more outside lighting would be very helpful.

Stunning unit in the best location

The unit is stunning ! Everything about it was superb. The location is spectacular ( walkable to beaches and seawall ), the modern interiors super comfortable and beautifully done The kitchen is perfectly equipped for home cooking and the outdoor lanai a huge plus. Incredible!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The condo is even more beautiful in person, and it had everything we needed during our three-week trip. It is furnished and equipped with all high-end items- no cheap sheets/towels, dishes, appliances, etc. There were plenty of beach towels, extra linens, and a kitchen with everything I needed to cook in comfortably. Nothing went wrong, so we did not have to contact the property manager, Mari, but our interactions with her prior to booking were wonderful. The owner, Swati, went out of her way, on multiple occasions, to accommodate our schedule changes and complications due to COVID. Her kindness and understanding made a stressful situation manageable. As previous renters noted, there is some street noise, but the prime location completely makes up for it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and I hope we have the opportunity to do so!

Our Ohana is a lovely and lively mix of cultures that enjoys family vacations together. Along with our parents, there are 3 of us siblings (and spouses) and 2 grandteens. The one place we all can agree to visit and love is Hawaii. So when our big kahuna (aka Dad) decided to buy a vacation home in glorious Wailea we all celebrated. We all currently live in Southern California and Mom & Dad have worked hard all of their life to provide us with much love, education, opportunities and joyful experiences. They now look forward to shady naps at the Wailea beaches, coffee at Akamai, and wine on the lanai. We hope you enjoy these experiences, and much more as well. Welcome to our Ohana!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this condo since it was just remodeled with modern and luxurious European finishes and everything is brand new.....and the ocean views are glorious! We purposely purchased a ground floor unit with zero steps for convenience and ease....especially for the elder members of our Ohana. Mom and Dad love their walks and were thrilled to find a home in the heart of Wailea with coffee, multiple restaurants, shops and the best beaches all 5-15 min walk. When we want some "night life" we head over to one of the world class 5 star resorts(Grand Wailea, Four Seasons, Fairmont Kea Lani) for dinner, music in the lounges, or just enjoyment of the lovely grounds. Kihei is just a 5-10 min drive away that also offers several fun bars and restaurants. Wailea beaches offer warm water and gentle waves for great snorkeling and boogie boarding. None of us are surfers so this was a positive for us! For exercise, the Wailea Beach Path is a 3 mile concrete path that is along the beach/coast and in front of these beautiful resort properties. All of this combined is why we so enjoy our second home and look forward to sharing it with you.
