Your Space:
This single-level, charming home is designed to make your stay in Chico comfortable and relaxing. It features three bedrooms, each with a cozy queen-sized bed and soft linens to ensure restful nights. Two full bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and essential toiletries, both offering tub-shower combos and double vanities for added convenience.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, complete with ample counter space and modern appliances. The open-concept layout connects the kitchen to the dining area and large living room, where you'll find a comfy sectional sofa, large-screen Smart TV, and high-speed Wi-Fi—perfect for streaming, working remotely, or unwinding after a day out. A dedicated laundry room with washer and dryer is available for your convenience.

Step outside to the private courtyard or relax on the front patio with a cup of coffee. The home is located in a peaceful neighborhood just minutes from downtown Chico, CSU Chico, Bidwell Park, and Enloe Hospital, making it ideal for families, business travelers, or groups of friends visiting the area.

Guests will have full, private access to the entire home during their stay. This includes a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area with a large table, and a cozy living room with a sectional sofa and Smart TV—perfect for relaxing after a day out. You'll have access to three comfortable bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, and two full bathrooms stocked with fresh towels and essential toiletries. High-speed Wi-Fi and in-home laundry with a washer and dryer are available for your convenience. Free street parking is also available right outside the home.

If you require a pack-and-play crib during your stay, please let us know at least 48 hours before your arrival so we can have it set up and ready for you.

Please note that a $50 late check-out fee will apply if you stay past the designated checkout time, as our cleaners are scheduled in advance and charge based on their arrival time.

There is a separate guest house located above the garage at the back of the property. Guests staying there use the back gate for access, so you may occasionally see them passing by. We like to mention this in advance to avoid any surprises during your stay.

Important: A $1,000 penalty plus any additional cleaning fees or damages will be imposed for unauthorized parties or smoking inside the unit.

The location was perfect for our stay. The house was sparse in amenities, but had great design, and was clean and comfortable. I would recommend providing a few more blankets, kitchen towels, and tissues. A few more extras would have made the stay a bit more comfortable.

Great layout, plenty of room to spread out with a nice size kitchen. Beds were comfortable too. My only suggestions would be to add some potholders and an extra towel to the kitchen and maybe a few not so poofy pillows in the bedrooms, some people like flatter pillows. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others :)

The home was clean and in a convenient location. Communication with the host was timely but not accurate. There were a few discrepancies that future guests should be aware of. Several chairs were broken and unstable, the listing advertised sleeping space for eight but accommodated only six, and there were no extra blankets or towels provided. With a few updates and clearer listing details, this is a great space.

We arrived a little earlier than our check in time, I asked the host if we could get in early. The host was quick to respond and allowed us early access, which was very appreciated. We booked this home specifically because it advertised having air conditioning, a must-have given the high temperatures in Chico during our stay. Upon arrival, we discovered the AC was completely nonfunctional. The ceiling fans were mounted high on vaulted ceilings and did very little to cool the space. Inside temperatures hovered around 80F and would have gotten much worse as the next few days in Chico were hotter.We contacted the host immediately, but were connected to what is clearly an overseas call center. They could not send a technician or even bring us fans. We spent a miserable night trying to sleep in the heat, contacted them again the next morning, and were told we’d likely be without AC for the entire stay as no one was able to come check them out. Unable to get help or even speak to a local manager, we had no choice but to leave and find another place to stay. The “host” has refused any refund, and VRBO routed us back to the same unhelpful offshore call center.This property is not being managed by a real person and when something goes wrong, you’re on your own. I’ve never left a negative review before, but I hope this helps someone else avoid what we went through. I would never stay there again.
