Amazing space and very clean! It was a great place to use as a base for our activities and not far from anything. Felt very safe. Communication with the host was easy and responses were quick. Recommend this property without hesitation.
Everything was clean and fresh! Plenty of room for our family. We really enjoyed it!!! Would recommend it to anyone and would definitely choose to stay here again in the future!!!

We loved this place. Friendly hosts! We had an event at UBC and the location was amazing.
The sauna and little outdoor area with BBQ were a nice bonus!
Really great location, appreciated that we could bring our pet. Well appointed unit, all the basics covered and a few bonus extra. Definitely recommend if you want to be near the university and some great walking trails!
The place was just as listed and the owner was very helpful. It is located between the airport and downtown, close to UBC. I think a car rental is needed for a stay here as it is a little bit of a drive to downtown, but not too bad. I really liked it was close to UBC and the less crowded area the campus is located around. We would definitely stay there again.
This property was immaculate inside. Super cozy in a safe neighborhood right about 20 minutes from downtown. Super quiet and the owners really thought about all the things a renter would need. It poured while we were there and we even found an umbrella hanging on the coat rack. Really, the best VRBO we have stayed at!

We’re so happy you enjoyed you stay in our suite, welcome back anytime Kelli!
Quick trip and wish we could have stayed longer. Updated place with a great setup. Plenty of room for five of us. Sauna was a perfect way to end the day. Thanks!
A very well equipped apartment - kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and bathroom and bedrooms well stocked with amenities and towels. All beautifully clean and spacious.
Good area - easy parking, close to park, beaches and shops.
Helpful owner who solved a couple of minor issues very quickly.
One of the best VRBO places we've stayed at as a family.

Nicely furnished basement apartment on the outskirts of UBC and Vancouver. Good high quality interior but obviously not much natural light. Deck area very small, not suitable for a family BBQ. Some noise from rooms above, sometimes disruptive to sleep.
A nice, clean basement suite. We really appreciated the dog bed and water bowl. It was well stocked and gave us a little home away from home. Our dog really wanted to meet the other dogs, but we were given complete privacy.

I’m glad you liked our suite. Welcome back anytime!
The suite was clean and updated. Perfect for a small group to stay. The only thing was hard with suitcases was the gravel walkway and the sets of stairs getting into the suite. They may want to pave the gravel walkway.

Property was adorable, clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. The location across the street to Pacific Spirit park was great. The street had parking and was quiet. Only complaint was there was a (maybe two) small dogs upstairs from us and the sound barrier from our apartment was so bad that it seemed like they were in our hallway. It is also a basement apartment so don't expect any view or much sunlight. Overall it was clean and comfortable and the sauna was a lovely plus.

Basement suite of an old house with creaky floors bad internet connection
Good location but if you like to sleep in past 5:30 or are a light sleeper then take a pass. Very little sound proofing between floors- very noisy when owner home. The water tank/ heater is very noisy whenever anyone in house uses it. There is a strong gas smell from the vents right outside the door which leak’s into the apartment. Be warned if stairs are an issue that getting into the apartment is a little tricky.

A few large misses
Although this property has some very nice features there are a few that I believe are misrepresented online. Firstly the basement apartment is a total cellular dead zone and the wifi extremely unreliable. Secondly the supposed king bedroom is not convenient since you cannot close the door if the bed is open past a twin and the bed is also horribly uncomfortable!! This place is NOT suited for two adult couples.
Great Location, Great Facilities, Very Responsive Host, Terrible WiFi
Christine was such a great host, and the location was amazing - very close to the airport, and allowed us to go to all the major attractions in Vancouver (Steveston / Surrey / Downtown / Lynn Suspension Bridge / Granville / Whistler). It was close to several delicious restaurants (a couple minutes drive), and the amenities, including the sauna were great.
Depending on your preference, there were a couple minor issues - the bed was a bit on the softer side, especially the sofa bed, and the WiFi was only accessible in the main room / kitchen and washroom. Even then, the WiFi went out intermittently, which made video / voice calling very difficult. Also, depending on your network (I'm on Bell), you might not get reception on data.
That being said - Christine was such an amazing host, and the amenities and location was so amazing, that I'm hard-pressed to give this anything but a 5 star review. Would definitely book this again if I came to Vancouver again assuming the Wi-Fi issues got resolved.
Easy access to UBC, Steveston, and downtown Vancouver
Cozy, with plenty of thoughtful touches. Thanks for the tasty goodies! Enjoyed the sauna. The best surprise was discovering a hidden path that took us into Pacific Spirit Park during our evening walk - so amazing to have such a gorgeous forest in your back yard!
