Great get away on the lake

We stayed here for our annual fishing trip. Cabin has a large screened in porch overlooking the lake. Cabin was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of dock space for bringing your own boat. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

awesome lake cabin experience

The pictures don’t do this property justice - the cabin and lake are beautiful, well kept, and a true pleasure to stay in. Todd was a great host, and was extremely responsive to all of our questions, and provided us with a great list of things to do in the area. The property is plenty spacious enough for a group of 10, the provided amenities are awesome, and the view of the lake and the sunset from the dock is phenomenal. You’ll need a boat to truly enjoy everything Thunder lake has to offer, so be sure to chat with Todd about your options upon booking. I would recommend this stay and will likely repeat the trip next year.

We sure enjoyed the Bouncy Bottom cabin. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of things to do when the weather doesn’t cooperate and we loved the swim raft and fire pit!

Bottom Bouncer

We traveled to the area for a quiet family getaway with our 2 college and 1 elementary aged kids. It was everything we hoped for. The cabin was clean and has a we'll stocked kitchen. The kids loved the hammocks, the fire pit area and of course the lake! It is so beautiful and the sunsets were amazing! If we would have had a boat, kayaks, or pontoon it would have been even better. Highly recommend this property for a small group getaway!

This has been our family cabin for 10 years. When our 3 teenage kids became busy with sports we don't make it to Bottom Bouncer cabin much anymore so we decided to open it up for others to enjoy as much as we do.

We love reading all the reviews of how much other families have enjoyed our cabin.

We are 3rd generation of family with cabins in Thunder Lake.

What makes this property unique

Big sunset views, great fishing and swimming, numerous areas to relax such on the shore and dock, hammocks, Adirondack chairs, an old bar from NE Minneapolis on the spacious deck and big campfire ring with plenty of seating. Close proximity to pickleball, Cuyana bike trails, ATV/UTV trails, and quality golf course doesn't hurt either!
