The Rainbow Cottage was a perfect property to use as a home base to visit the Charleston area. It was even bigger in person than in the pictures, and felt very homely. I highly recommend it!

We loved this house. It was easily walkable to a lot of city sites. In spite of being in the city, it was quiet and peaceful with thoughtful furnishings that allowed everyone to congregate comfortably in the living room until ready to do something. The bedrooms were roomy and the beds comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway after a long day of sightseeing.

I am OBSESSED with this cottage! It is so cozy and lovely. I felt right at home immediately when I arrived. It was quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything. I can’t wait to come back and stay agin.

We had a great time at the cottage. Everything was as stated. The rooms were comfortable and the location was great. Our host was prompt in their responses which we truly appreciated. Kings road was a 15minute walk and the weather was amazing. We loved our Mahjong girls group stay here and will definitely come back.

The Rutledge Cottage is a perfect 10! It is conveniently located in the historic district, charmingly appointed, clean as can be, comfortable and cozy! Check-in and communication with the host is effortless, fast and friendly. The cottage offers a wide array of reading materials in its little library and a great little back deck. I fell in love with Charleston and plan to stay here for future visits.
