Welcome to Lake living at Lake Mohawksin Shores!

Multi-unit is settled at the end of Hickey Ave on a large peninsula with plenty of room for parking and outside activities. Just a few outside features include two private docks, 400 ft of frontage, a spacious yard, and a deck with a lake view.

This spacious four-bedroom upper and lower unit sleeps 14, and we also have an additional unit with one bed, and one bath available separately. They are decorated in a modern Northwoods style. 105 Upper unit: consists of a queen bed with patio door leading out to the lakeside deck, Bed 2: queen and single, a double futon couch. Lower unit: consists of a queen bed with patio door leading out to the lakeside deck, Bed 2: queen and single, a double pullout couch. Both upper and lower have great inside features, including a spacious living and dining room area, TV, and full baths. A swimming area, firepit, multiple docks, kitchen towels, bed linens, extra pillows, and blankets are provided. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer. The kitchen contains dinnerware, utensils, cookware, a coffee maker, reusable food containers, water bottles, and pantry items. A grill and dining set can be found outside — each dining room table seats six, plus a large breakfast bar.
In the evening, relax around the fire or take a short walk down the road to Castaways Bar and Grill, a local bar and restaurant with a great view of the beauty of Lake Mohawksin (and the paper mill). Lake Mohawksin Shores are also located 1.3 miles from downtown Tomahawk, with food, shopping, and entertainment opportunities during the day. Pontoon rentals are available for an extra charge from Tomahawk Pontoon Rental. Dock and swimming, and the water depth is shallow. Please visit the Tomahawk Chamber Website for more info.

Family getaway

We went fishing swimming bowling golfing and UTV’ing. House was clean and all the amenities provided made for easy times. Beautiful lake view.

Fantastic Cottage

This is a class act cottage for family vacation with adult sons and grandkids. Management is outstanding and all the amenities they list were present and even more. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. We were very impressed!

Wonderful family vacation

We rented this property for a family reunion. It comfortably slept 8 adults and 4 children. We enjoyed fishing on the pier, kayak and paddle boat rides, and drinks on the deck. The house itself was very comfortable and so nicely decorated. The many included amenities made it easy to pack light. We will definitely consider renting again!

Awesome place

Perfect for our 3 family’s we certain enjoy the place enough room for the 12 of yes. Rented a boat for fishing and site seeing so very peaceful just to relax and enjoy family fun. Castaways bar next door wonderful food and drinks. The owner’s were awesome when we had a problem called and came over quickly. Would recommend this place to anyone that needs a vacation. Thanks the Itten’s.

Mohawksin Lake Family Vacation

Very nice lake house with plenty of space for a family of ten. Clean. Includes use of kayaks, row boat, and paddle boat, and a dock for our boat. The deck is exceptional. It is the full width of the house and the lower unit is nicely shaded. We’ve been at this rental for two family vacations and hope to make it three next summer.

Lake Mohawksin vacation home

We have taken our family of 6 adults and now 4 children on a north woods vacation every summer for the last 7 years. This is the best vacation home that we have experienced. The combined upper and lower units give everyone plenty of space. The deck is huge and gives a great view. Kayaks, paddle boat, and a row boat are available for our use. The owners are very responsive to our requests and made our stay an excellent experience. We are likely wanting to go back next year.

The property was great! We had 11 people between the upper and lower units and never felt crowded. The dock approach was a little unsteady, but still safe. There was a small beach for the kids. The manager/owner was easy to communicate with and took care of a bee concern right away. We are most definitely going to be back!

Nice and roomy cabin. Well stocked with every day essentials like kitchen utensils and dishes and bathroom linens. Rented upper and lower which was seperated by locked doors which was inconvenient because we felt seperated from the rest of our group. Dock needs some work, boards as you walk on the dock were loose.

Family Vacation

Beautiful place on the water! Beautifully decorated! Amazing decks to sit outside and enjoy the view! Many docks to fish off, caught many fish! Kayaks and pedal boat we’re a lot of fun. We brought our own kayaks and with the additional ones there had just enough for everyone to enjoy the water. It was great to have two separate spaces in case someone wanted to go to bed early and others want to play games. We had a great time and would rent again!! The host was great!

Tomahawk Lake side

I was on a last minute business trip at the height of tourism season in the area and was able to secure this little Gem. It was a great change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the multiple hotel rooms I usually stay in . Nice peaceful evening on the deck relaxing and having a drink while looking at the lake on two sides made the time pass with ease during my busy work schedule. The owners and management staff were super attentive and responsive to any questions I had. I had a wonderful stay and was happy to be able to say I'm the first to use that unit and start the pay it forward pantry.

Nice place for a family stay

This is a very good place for a family and in a lovely location surrounded by trees. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The only downsides are that the Wi-Fi is pretty weak, there can be some train noise and there were a couple of appliances that didn't work.

Affordable place to stay convent to town, but this is a nicely wooded lot that you feel like you are in the woods. Dock space for your boat, room to swim, large fire pit area, boat trailer parking.

Great for Large Groups. We also have a 5 bedroom unit that could be rented for a total of 30 people. There is also room for camping and we do have a camper that can sleep 8. This is on City water and sewer so we have no bedroom restrictions. This is on the end of a dead-end road with almost 500 ft of level swimming waterfront. Two very large Lakeside decks. Central AC facing South.
