Luxury Ranch Stay - Horse and Cattle

Be our guest on 40 private and fully gated acres. From all windows of the house you can watch 2 horses and cattle grazing through the meadow. The evening sunsets are magical with deer & turkeys wandering through. Relax under the stars at our fire pit (all supplies provided). Let your kids run wild with water guns & a water fall pond to refill at! Located right off HWY 16 makes you only 10 minutes to downtown Rapid City and 20 minutes to Mt. Rushmore!

The cattle are on the property May-September.

The horses are on the property year round. They are working horses and may be off the property during your stay.

Whether in Rapid City for work or play you will love our guesthouse. Located on 40 private acres, settled in the heart of the Black Hills, and less than 10 minutes to downtown Rapid City.

We’ve intentionally stocked the house to meet extended stay needs. If there’s something we don’t have just ask!

The kitchen offers everything for dining in plus s’mores supplies for nights under the stars at the firepit. You’ll find a variety of board and card games to spend quality time together. Kids have said the water guns are their favorite part. This guesthouse isn’t your average stay.

The living room offers a built-in fire place, TV, and sleeper couch. The bedroom offers an attached bathroom, walk-in closet and laundry room. In the bathroom we have soap, shampoo, and conditioner for your convenience. We offer organic bamboo bed sheets and organic cotton towels.

There is both a washer and dryer and we provide detergent, bleach, and softener during your stay.

The horses are on the property year round. Sometimes they are off the property on riding day/weekend trips. If the horses will not be present during your stay I will communicate that with you in advance.

The attached single stall garage is yours to use for parking - which is crucial for summer hail storms.

We live in the main house on the property. We are available for any need that might arise.

Moon meadows is a quiet neighborhood just outside Rapid City. It’s situated conveniently next to HWY 16 which takes you directly to all the Black Hills attractions.

Vacation is supposed to be relaxing, fun, and a time to create special memories with those you love. That's why we do not include a laundry list of cleaning requirements before you leave. Our desire is that you have a refreshing stay and those memories continue to bring you joy for years to come.

If you need any kid/baby items please let us know, so we can have those ready for your stay.
