OMG!!! We loved it here!!! It had everything you could ever want or need!!

  • 5 of 5

Beyond happy with this place!! It is not only beautifully decorated but has every amenity you could ever want. The cupboards were well stocked with dishes/pans/etc and there were plenty of towels. The beds were super comfortable and lots of extra linens and pillows/blankets. We LOVED the bikes, we rode them around Princeville every night! People have left lots of sunscreen so no need to pack any! We also loved all the beach accessories!! snorkels ,masks, swim shoes, umbrella, chairs, fins...! The condo is steps away from the beautiful pool and Jacuzzi. We BBQ'd there a few times, large area with a lot of room to spread out. All in all, we would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More than we could have ever asked for

  • 5 of 5

After 5 years, we return to beautiful Kauai. Staying in Eddie's hula hut made our trip that much enjoyable. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the housewares needs. The living quarters were roomy and decorated so inviting. We especially love the pool and BBQ areas. And, the location, was perfect. Afternoon walks to St Regis to watch the sunsets or walks to Princeville for am coffee. Just perfect. We will be back!

Wonderful condo home, super clean, super convenient in Princeville!

  • 5 of 5

This condo home was a perfect stay in Princeville. It's pretty much a home away from home. I can't really think of anything that needs to be added to make it more comfortable for a vacation stay. Super well stocked of items that are not easy to travel with (coolers, beach chairs, boogie board, beach toys, snorkel gear, soft top surf boards, beach towels, etc.) The kitchen was fully well stocked as well including spices, sandwich baggies, foil, coffee filters). The AC was an added plus as even in March it would get a bit toasty. I would highly recommend this condo and stay here again. I also liked that you can walk right across the street to the pool area which was very nice and clean as well. My family would typically go to the beach in the morning and go to the pool and hot-tub in the late afternoons. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Everything you could want in a vacation condo!

  • 4 of 5

Our family spent a month at Eddie’s Hula Hut (Jan 9-Feb 6, 2017) and we loved it! The condo is spacious with a large kitchen and plenty of room in the dining and living room areas. The bedrooms were all good sizes and the mattresses were comfortable. We had some minor issues while at the condo but they were all handled quickly by Michele (property manager) or her son Ryan. The condo is right across from the pool & barbecue area so that was very convenient for taking our grandson swimming or cooking something on the barbecue. Note: There are only 2 barbecues so occasionally you may have to wait your turn. The location of the condo in Princeville means that you can get to a beach or many tourist attractions on the north coast with a 10-15 minute drive. Even the Kalalau Trail (Na Pali Coast) is only about a 30 minute drive from the condo. On the other hand, if you are planning on driving to Waimea Canyon, it will take almost 2 hours to get to the last lookout point in the canyon. As others have mentioned, it was great to have all of the beach supplies provided (chairs, umbrella, children’s toys, beach towels, coolers, ice packs) and two bicycles for short rides in the area. For folks who like walking, the condo is very close to the walking paths that run alongside the golf course and you can also walk to the Queen’s bath, Hideaways beach and Puu Poa beach (at the St. Regis Resort). One amazing thing we did was to walk down to the end of Kaweonui road (about 10 minutes from condo) to see the Albatross seabirds that live in Princeville’s residential neighborhoods. They nest right on the front lawns and we were lucky to see some recently born chicks. I should also mention that it was a pleasure to deal with Doreen (the condo owner) who patiently responded to the many, many questions that I asked about the condo. We are happy to recommend Eddie’s Hula Hut to others.

Wonderful condo - great place to stay in Princeville

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in March 2016 with 5 adults and our 9 y old daughter. The condo exceeded our expectations! Plenty of room for everyone (our daughter slept in the single bed in the den), very clean, air conditioned, great location. The kitchen is very large with lots of supplies and storage for our food. The double garage easily fit our 2 cars, and contained plenty of beach equipment - chairs, toys (no small boogie board, so we purchased one at ABC and left it for others). We even took out the bikes one day to explore the neighbourhood.

The condo itself is in a great spot in the Nihilani community - near the entrance, and just a tiny walk to the pool and bbq area. We were concerned with using the pool (from reading other's reviews), but we did not receive any negative attention. Our daughter loves to swim, and there were other children there too, but no noise complaints.

We stopped at Costco on our way up island, but there is a Foodland on the highway for anything we forgot. And a Lappert's Ice Cream next door - a must try too!

We explored the entire island, but really fell in love with Hanalei. It was nice we were so close to this part of the island.

Best kid-friendly beaches (that we found): Salt Pond Beach, Poipu, and Lydgate Beach

We also went to the Kauai mini-golf near to Princeville - it was a-mazing! It was a fun way to spend a slightly wet day, the course is beautifully landscaped.

We would definitely recommend Eddie's Hula Hut. We would stay again, and we intend to return - we really love Kauai!

Beautiful condo, Excellent location, Great family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had an excellent time in Princeville and your place was above our expectations, location was great and the neighbors were friendly.

Everything that we needed for our stay was already at the condo. Lots of room for all 6 of us, 5 adults and one teenager. The master bedroom was overly spacious and the master bathroom was a treat with a large vanity, large shower and bath. Speaking of bathrooms, having three available is always a great perk.

The pool / Hot tub and BBQ area was a fun place to be at night with family's socializing and finding out who lives there and where other visitors are from. During the day the pool area was like our own little oasis, that was on the days we were not traveling too see the sights or go do some adventure.

The condo is situated on the North shore, which is a beautiful area of the island, if you are a golfer, you are two minutes away from swinging the clubs, and if swimming or surfing is your style you are 5 minutes away from the beach. Lots to do in the area, zip-lining, botanical gardens, swimming, shopping, mini golf (totally cool).

For our first time on the island couldn't have picked a better place to stay, great condo great location.

Thank you for being a great host, an excellent source of information and for making us feeling right at home; we will definitely contact you for our next visit and hope that we left a good impression as your guests. Thanks for everything.
