We enjoyed our time in the southern magnolia cabin this weekend, it was very peaceful and relaxing.the hot tub was a welcome return after our days of shopping and exploring the mountain parkway.
Beautiful cabin, everything you could ask for. It is a little out of the way if you want to be in town, other than that it's perfect. Would gladly stay here again.

Thank you Rodney, glad you enjoyed your stay! Being a little out of the way is part of why we enjoy it so much. You can be in downtown rubbing elbows with the tourist and then head to a quiet place to relax and unwind away from it all.
This home was as described and more! Clean, comfortable and great location. We were pleased with everything. Owners responded quickly to our one request. We would stay here again for sure!

The Southern Magnolia was a very clean and comfortable cabin. The Millers were fantastic hosts and even messaged us just to check that everything was good. We had a great trip! I would 100% recommend.

Thank you. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. Please come back again!
Beautiful cabin. It was the perfect place for our family. The kids loved the hot tub. Property owner had great communication even though he was on his own vacation. Check in was easy. Pulling out of driveway there are some blind spots around the curve but we got the hang of it. Would stay again if in the area.
Cabin was very spacious, and clean. The walk in shower in the master bath was a nice a surprise. My son enjoyed the pac man game. The cabin was in a quiet neighborhood with a little bit of a drive to area attractions, over all we would love to stay at this cabin again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean and several amenities. Responsive, friendly host. We didn’t want to leave. Had a blast on the pac-man machine and in the hot tub. Thanks Edward! :)

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. I have not had a chance to try the Pac Man game yet. Hope to host you again, Thanks
Our stay in this cabin was absolutely perfect. The cabin was clean and very homey, just what we wanted to come back to every evening after exploring Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The host communicated with me through the app to let me know about plans for yard maintenance during our stay and was an absolute dream to work with. My fiancée and I agreed that for future visits, this is where we’ll call our temporary home! We visit yearly and can’t wait to come back!!
Overall the cabin was beautiful, pretty clean. 20 mins-30 mins to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Quiet and Serene, Near Douglas Lake. Forbidden Caverns. Nancy and Ed were very nice people and communication was flawless.

Everything went very well, I wish you could adjust the temperature of the house, and felt very rushed leaving. Overall 4.5 ish.

Gary, you just need to know how to operate a NEST thermostat. Since we did not hear from you during your stay we assumed you had no issues. As for being rushed to leave - check out is at 10 a.m and you didn't leave until after 10 and since you were late leaving and the cameras were on I saw you leaving the trash behind the storage shed instead of putting it in the trash can so I had to call you and ask you to put it in the trash can. Finally, you left a lot of items in the cabin which required the cleaning service to clean up after you left - dirty dishes, opened items left in fridge, etc. So it appears your party was in a hurry to leave. Also did not lock the cabin door when you did leave. Took them two hours to clean the cabin after you left.
My family and i really enjoyed our stay at this cabin!! The pictures do not do it justice. It was bigger and more beautiful than expected. It was very peaceful and secluded which is exactly what we were looking for. It was very close to pigeon forge, Gatlinburg and the douglas lake!! The owners are amazing people and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be staying here again!! Hopefully for many more years to come. Thank you so much! We had a wonderful time!!

Sherry, you guys are welcome to stay anytime! It was a pleasure meeting ya'll.... Thanks for taking wonderful care of our cabin! Nancy & Ed
The cabin is beautiful! It was everything described. Very modern yet comfortable. The best sleep I have had in a long time. Honestly if I could have stayed one more day, I would have. The gift basket was a nice touch. It made my family feel welcomed. Also enjoyed the hot tub. Looking up at the clear sky and stars was breathtaking and relaxing. I highly recommend this property and will be using this and other properties owned by these owners in the future.
Southern Magnolia is an excellent property. Sevierville is our getaway area and this will be our first choice rental for future trips.
Ed and Nancy were very considerate, checking on us because we were delayed on our departure and didn't arrive until very late on the check-in date.
We had a busy weekend but each night we knew we were coming back to a quiet home to relax and rest up for the next day. The property was only 20-30 minutes from the major attraction areas and we even took a quick morning drive out to Knoxville without dealing with much traffic. Easy access to Dollywood from backroads allows you to avoid a lot of the traffic.

Cabin was nice, clean and had all amenities. The only downside for our group of ladies was the hot tub rules and outdoor cameras. We specifically booked this cabin for the hot tub, but never used it. Strict rules on hot tub use (only allowed in for 20 min, no beverages allowed etc), and having cameras pointed directly at hot tub made us uncomfortable. While I understand rules need to be in place for certain things, they were too strict for our liking. We had a nice stay overall.

Tammy, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay at the cabin but I am confused about the twenty minutes in the hot tub. I don’t think you read the “rules” as they ask that all guests wear swim attire and do not adjust the temperature. Nothing is said about how long you can use it! As for the cameras - have you stayed at a hotel? They have cameras everywhere including pools and hot tubs but our cameras are turned off shortly after you arrive and it is pointed at the back door of the cabin not the hot tub. Unfortunately cameras are a necessary part of protecting our guests as well as our property.
We come to TN once a year and this was by far the cleanest cabin we have stayed at. The bedding was super clean and very updated. Most things felt new in the whole cabin. Nice kitchen with all we needed to cook some meals. Cozy fire pit outside. Very peaceful area. It was prob 25-30 minutes to Pigeon Forge because traffic and it being so busy. That was the only downside of staying a bit further out. The renters were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of games and puzzles that my kids enjoyed along with a pac man arcade that we all loved. Overall a great stay! We would love to visit this rental again!

Jill and her family were great guests. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Fall is a very busy time of year in this area so sometimes traffic can be slow. Hope to see you again next year!
Beautiful cabin!! Hot tube was amazing!! It wasn’t as clean as I’d like! The dishes were all dirty stove was dirty inside and on top under the noodle board! Dishwasher was dirty on the outside!
Air was a little aggravating! There was a lock on thermostat! So you couldn’t change it yourself. Contacted owner he set it air for us! But we couldn’t change it ourselves! And I’m used to it being cold! So we didn’t sleep the best at night because it was so hot in there!! The smaller bedroom is cooler!! It is a super nice place!! Just a few things I didn’t care for!!
The cabin was immaculate and the pictures don’t do it justice! We did have to bug the owner several times the first night bc we didn’t read the instructions and they were very patient and kind to us! We appreciate them letting us enjoy their cabin!
Absolutely perfect! Very roomy, nicely decorated and clean!
The Cabin is in a beautiful wooded area but located close to all attractions plenty of parking and Host was very accommodating we will definitely book again!
Everything was fabulous except for the AC Situation. Didn't really want to say anything because my husband and I are spoiled and used to keeping our setting at 65 at night and 68 during day. But the AC Vent in the Master Bedroom is covered up with a dresser and the ceiling fans were turning counter clockwise which made sleeping at night hot. Ac is constantly resetting and so when we leave and come back the temp in side was 74 or more and even during the night my husband got up 2 to 3 times to reset it at 69 which was as low as it would go. BUT everything else was great? Great Location, very clean, plenty of room and the complete setup was great!
Very clean, beautiful, updated cabin. My kids loved the arcade. It did take 30 minutes to get to our activities in pigeon forge, but it was nice being away from the crowds. Definitely recommend!

Thank you Marie, we are glad you enjoyed your stay at our cabin. Sounds like you had a lot of traffic. We can usually get to Pigeon Forge area in 20 minutes or less when we go to the cabin. Hope you decide to come back soon.

Why they chose this property
This cabin is only two years old and we decided to purchase a cabin in the Smokies. We love the cabin and when our realtor told us that this cabin was available if we acted quickly we jumped on it! It is a beautiful property that has been well cared for by its previous owners so we did not have to do much to get it ready for others to enjoy. We expanded the deck and added a hot tub and added all new furnishings.
