Beautifully decorated, privately owned and managed 2BR/1BA condo great for families. Not your typical rental...second home with all the amenities of your own! Perfectly located one block from beach with great ocean views from front balcony. Waterfront location with great views of the marsh/inlet and wonderful sunsets from rear screened porch. Also located conventiently one block away from downtown Garden City with it's old school beach feel and lots of entertainment for adults and kids...arcade, fun park, shops, restaurants, Garden City grocery store and Garden City Pier all within walking distance.

Day bed on porch is perfect place to relax and read a book after a long day on the beach, also great place to watch the sunset and take in the natural beauty of the marsh where the blue herons and white egrets frequent often. BONUS: 50 INCH Plasma HDTV in living area!!! Master bedroom has queen bed, 2nd bedroom has full bed and blow-up double sized queen mattress available for use in the living room instead of sleeping on those thin pull-out sofa's (sleeps like a real bed). Newly tiled floor throughout the remainder of the condo. Full kitchen and washer/dryer included.

This condo has a pool and hot tub that sits on the marsh front for use by our guests. There are also restrooms conveniently located poolside and the pool is rarely crowded like some of the other places on the beach. Walking distance to the pier, arcade, fun park, restaurants, shopping and Garden City grocery store. Direct ocean access in front of condo one block away...enjoy swimming, fishing from pier, chick-fil-a and ice cream from Painter's or hot dogs and burgers from Sam's Corner...all conveniently located steps away.

The condo is just a step away from all Myrtle Beach has to offer: Over 100 golf courses, outlet shopping, fine dining, entertainment theaters, water parks, exciting and diverse night life. Murrells Inlet is the next town south, known as the 'Seafood Capital of the South,' features the areas best restaurants (5 min drive). We are a couple from Pawleys Island, SC who bought the condo as a vacation getaway spot. We love the area because it is one of the last old-school beach towns left that is not too commercialized and is still very family friendly. Wonderful place for nature lovers with the beauty of the marsh and inlet as well as the ocean, all within footsteps of your front door. Everything is in walking distance and the location if perfect.

We chose Garden City because it was such a quaint old-school family-oriented beach which had the peaceful qualities we were in search of but still close enough to all the fun Myrtle Beach has to offer and lots to do in Garden City and Murrells Inlet areas. We chose the marsh front condo because we absolutely love the views of the marsh, inlet, sunsets and wildlife and the convenience of the beach being steps away make this condo the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS! We love it and hope you will too!

This family emailed us after their stay and told us that it was one of the nicest rental condos that they had ever stayed in. They stated that if they visit the Myrtle Beach area again they will definitely stay in the condo again. They also commented that the Garden City area was a great change of pace compared to Myrtle Beach where they had previously stayed. Garden City is a more quiet, relaxing family beach that is still just minutes away from all of the entertainment Myrtle Beach has to offer. Lots of guests have commented that they enjoy the small downtown located within walking distance of our condo offering a fun park, arcade, restaurants, small grocery store and the Garden City pier.

Location, location, location! In the center of everything Garden City has to offer and minutes away from all the attractions in Myrtle Beach. Walking distance (1/2 block to one block) from the pier, beach, cafe's, arcade, fun park, grocery store and ice cream parlor. Wonderful new restaurant with executive chef and fine low-country cuisine located 1/2 block away! Very quaint smaller condominium complex that is not heavily rented with wonderful pool and hot tub located right on the marsh/inlet with fantastic views. Very relaxing place for a vacation with lots to do and in a great renovated upscale condo that has all the amenities of home. Read the reviews! You will not be disappointed!

Condo was clean and had plenty of space. Great location and beautiful view of marsh.

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. The location was great and the public beach access off Magnolia Ave is extremely close and an easy walk. The condo is clean and comfortable. The owner is available for any issues or questions that come up. The only suggestion I would make is to update the cable package to include internet/wifi. The mifi device did not work (the owner did offer to troubleshoot).

Not updated, not clean.

The location is great and the condo building was very quiet. The building is one block from the pier and a public beach access. The view of the Marsh was great, too. However, the condo was dirty and not updated. There was trash on the carpet in one of the bedrooms and cracker crumbs under the chairs and couches. The carpet has black spots in both bedrooms from overuse. There is dust covering the wall decorations and shutter-style closet doors. There was a big rust/blood stain on one of the comforters. The sheets in both bedrooms appeared not to have been washed. There were tiny little hairs all over one set of sheets, it looked like dog hair. Neither set of sheets smelled fresh. We washed the sheets ourselves, which took multiple dryer cycles to dry in the dryer. The washing machine agitator was covered with a layer of gunk/rust. The dryer lint trap was also very rusty. The chairs in the living room are in well used condition, unlike what's shown in the pictures. All chair armrests are ripped or torn. Some of the rugs pictured in the condo are missing. Multiple light bulbs were burned out throughout the condo, and there was an electrical outlet that was sticking out from the wall in one of the bedrooms. There were big tears in the balcony and front window screens. There were no hand towels or dish towels in the condo and very few wash cloths. The basket of washcloths pictured in the bathroom on the toilet is missing. The pictures for this listing need to be updated to more accurately describe the condition of the condo. It is no longer updated, and it could use a good cleaning.

Owner's Response: I apologize that the unit did not seem clean, I trust my house cleaner to clean the unit and wash the sheets and pay her to do so with every change over and had actually just bought multiple sets of new sheets to for the unit and she was supposed to be using different comforters that I gave her after someone stained one of the comforters this summer. She did send me pictures of the arm chairs, carpets in the entry way of the bedroom that looked very bad and the tears in the screen porch after one stay in early July that was particularly rough on our condo and I have plans to replace the carpet, repair the screen and replace the chairs but couldn't do that with back to back renters already booked for the next several weeks. I did try to let guests know before they arrived what had just happened and that I would be addressing those issues as soon as possible. The house cleaner also told me she changed the light bulbs. I even bought and shipped light bulbs off of amazon to her for that reason. I apologize and wish I could have addressed some of your concerns while you were there. We did have the carpets steam cleaned at the beginning of the summer and I assure you it was in much better condition before the summer traffic. I will be addressing those issues and getting a new maid this month. This is the first negative review we have ever gotten and I will do what it takes to make sure I have someone looking after it that I can trust not to leave it in that condition for guests.

Meh...

My main complaint is that the advertisement says that it can sleep six but we could barely fit our group of 5. We never received a rental agreement, which included the details of the rental's address, unit number, laundry and other utility details, etc. Thankfully the owner, Sarah, was very responsive to my many questions. The walk to the beach was short which was nice (about two blocks) and the pool was a wonderful place to relax.

Owner's Response: I wanted to apologize for dropping the ball on getting you guys the rental agreement and of any misunderstanding about how large the unit is. In the past when the owners had more hands on communication with the guests it was really easy to make sure I had the rental agreement signed and answered all questions about the property before booking. I usually discourage parties of 6 that include more than four adults and always make sure guests know that it is a small place with one bathroom. The listing details the beds (queen, full and a blow up queen sized mattress for the living room area). Since vrbo bookings have become so automated and it has cut us out of the loop much of the time, I have definitely seen a decline in customer satisfaction compared to the past 10 years of renting when I communicated directly and very heavily with the guests before the booking. I apologize that your expectations were not met and am going to make sure my listing is updated with even more clarification that it sleeps 6 MAX but is recommended for four adults or a family with kids and not really comfortable for a group of 5-6 adults. Great Place to Stay!

This place was perfect. Just big enough and a great view of the marsh and sunset. The location worked well for walking to the beach, to eat or to bars. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Screened in porch is super!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is great--on the inlet and a very short walk to the beach! Sunset views from the screened in porch are gorgeous. Screened in porch has a ceiling fan and a clothes line. Day bed on porch is comfortable for napping! The unit is just as it appears in the pictures. Owner is super courteous and responsive. Unit does not have Internet which we would prefer. Building hallways and pool area are kept clean.

Easy access to the beach, and all grand strand attractions.

Great place for a small family, couple, or girls retreat. Only one bathroom so keep that mind if you have larger party. Walk to the beach is easy and it is nice to be close to the pier and other attractions if you have kids. It was a bit noisy at night being so close to the main road so bring a fan for better sleeping. Mobility challenged folks wouldn't want to tackle stairs. Overall nice place for a affordable beach getaway.
