Spacious house

The house is big and clear, with enough space to feel comfortable. It is located in a quiet and cozy neighborhood. Unfortunately The cleaning was not good, especially of the kitchen area and ground level. the owner should pay attention to this because the house itself has a lot of potential.

This is an incredibly charming house in a lovely area. The host shared extremely detailed instructions so we knew exactly what to expect. Location was amazing, highly recommend

Family get away

Everything about this house was great. The host is very fast at responding to questions. House is clean, rooms are spacious everything you need is right there. If my family is out that way again we will surely stay here if it’s available.

Lovely place

The house, pool, and canal were all wonderful. My son caught his first fish and crabs which were delicious. Boca Grande was our beach of choice and it was a nice drive and $6 to access the island. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Wonderful place!

Beautiful, spacious home, great layout for a group. Very clean, had everything we needed, even some beach stuff. Pool was great! (No hot tub). Crab traps were fun, and crabs good to eat. Great location , close to Gasprilla and Englewood beach’s, many great restaurants, ,shopping and churches close by. Sofia was great to work with, she was easy to contact, quick to respond to any needs or questions.

No hot tub!!!

Probably the biggest complaint that all seven of us have is that there is no hot tub as indicated in the listing. When I contacted the host about this, she indicated that there had been a whirlpool tub in the primary bath but that had been removed due to hurricane damage. There never has been a hot tub as indicated. We were all so looking forward to lounging in the pool and hot tub and when we arrived, there was not one. The pool was cold when we arrived and we had to wait to hear from the host to figure out how to turn it up and were not able to use it the first day we were there. The property itself was nice and fit our needs for beds and baths. Location was good for us and is as indicated in the listing. There are no instructions for anything in the house so you are left to yourself to figure out the TV's, pool heater, etc. The host did respond promptly the first two days but not the second half of our stay. She had indicated that there were check out instructions on the listing but the only thing on the listing was check in instructions. She did send this once we got ahold of her. We prefer not to have to contact the host and are appreciative of being provided with outlined instructions on the property. Biggest complaint is that we all had looked at the listing before booking and felt that we had been misled by the hot tub issue. I would suggest to the host that be removed from the listing as it is inaccurate.

Beautiful House

The Host made our stay very special. Special accommodations were made based on our request. The house is very specious and accommodated family of 9 comfortably. We enjoyed fishing at the canal and caught some cool fish. The house is close by beautiful beaches and warm mineral lake. We will definitely return!

With this amazing heated pool weather doesn't matter!

We had a great stay at this property and definitely enjoyed the pool as ocean was too cold for swimming. House is beautiful and spacious to accommodate a large family with kids. In addition to spending time in the pool, we absolutely loved fishing as this property's backyard is right on the canal! Kids had so much fun and we cannot wait to be back! Also, check out local KK bakery their coffee and pastries are so delicious!

Outstanding experience

Wow, what an beautiful home and overall awesome experience and the host Sofiya was incredible! We worked through some booking challenges with VRBO, she was always prompt to return all my texts and checked on us right after getting in to see if everything was good and to see if we needed anything. Don’t overlook this property, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great Family Vacation!

My family of 6, sister in law and father in law all enjoyed our stay! The house is located in a nice quiet neighbor. Checking in was easy, the house was nice and clean! My kids enjoyed the pool and fishing off the dock. It was some much needed relaxing time. We visited with family. The beaches are not far from the house. Plenty of great places to eat close by. The house manager was great! Always got back to me quickly and checked in to see if we were having a good time! Highly recommend this listing! 😁

Amazing place

It was perfect location for our group vacation. House was spotless, beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and fishing bay. We love the kitchen, we were able to cook our meals, lots of space. Easy to communicate with the host, They answered all the questions and recommended lots of amazing places to go! It was wonderful stay and will definitely come back!

Where awesomeness meets relaxation

What an amazing and huge property right on the water! We were a large group of friends and family with kids of all ages. Stayed over July 4th Weekend and enjoyed it to the fullest! You can fish from their private dock (yes, fishing rods/accessories included), spend time by the pool (clean and well maintained), or just relax inside of the house (plenty of space for all). The host will recommend you top local dining spots, supermarkets (5 minutes away) or beaches (4-5 to choose from). No stress, just pure relaxation! Would definitely come back again!

Великий будинок все є для комфортного відпочинку , просторі кімнати є гараж басейн, вихід на канал де можна відпочити і по рибалити( є всі снасті для цього).Чистий басейн,лежаки комфортні крісла для релаксу. Повністю обладнаною кухнею з обідньою зоною .15-20 хв до океану з чудовими чистими пляжами. Поряд багато супермаркетів та кафе в радіусі 5 -10 хв. Рекомендую для сімейного відпочинку. Обов’язково повенемся

Family and friends stay

We enjoyed the ability to dock 2 boats on the canal. The grocery store was close as well as restaurants and beaches.

Fabulous Find!

Our family so enjoyed our stay here! Sofiya clearly instructed us on how to enter the home and readily advised with any question we had. Every room in the house was clean and nicely decorated. There was plenty of space for our family of 9 adults and 1 baby. We made great use of the gorgeous pool, and we loved spending our mornings together relaxing with a cup of coffee in the beautiful scenery of the back yard. So many precious memories made here! Thanks so much, Sofiya!! We would love to come again!

Perfect vacation!

The property is very clean, perfect location and was big enough for our 3 family groups. The gorgeous beaches were only 20 mins away and supermarket and shops just a few minutes. The property could not have been any better for our needs. The children loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the tranquility of the overlooking the river it backs onto. The owner was very communicative and gave plenty of tips and ideas of where to visit. All in all a perfect property that I would highly recommend.

Amazing property

This property was amazing for our family vaca, week long stay. Relax and swum by the pool and fish or go crabbing right in the back yard. Very peaceful neighborhood. House was decorated nicely and very accommodating. Owner answered all msgs and questions and was very nice to work with. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again and again! If you want a nice relaxing family get away this is a great place to stay!

Fantastic Canal Home!

This is an excellent property for a large family. This trip it was just us and the grand kids so there was tons of room. The place is in immaculate shape, the pool is in perfect condition, dock offers amazing evening views, and the kitchen is big enough for the entire crew. They keep the place at a perfect temperature (we didn’t have to touch the thermostat) and they provide LOTS of pool towels. So overall if you are looking for a place to spend quality time on the river & around the pool this place is it. They also have great internet and plenty of TVs for the evening if you want that instead of board games. Great place and sure we will stay again.

Great Location

The property was as advertised, and clean and well kept. The location was also very convenient. The only complaint is we only had lukewarm water for bathing. I contacted the management company on Saturday and was told they would try and get someone out but nobody came. Cold to lukewarm showers, not great but not the end of the world. We'd rent there again.

Family Easter Get Away

Overall this is a nice, clean property with a lot and I mean a lot of room for family, extended family or friends - sleeps 8-10 comfortably. The pool was great and heated, especially on cool nights beginning of April. We've stayed at a handful of VRBOs and we felt somewhat micro-managed at this one. The owner monitors the A/C temperature and changes it remotely multiple times a day. The master bath has a tub only which we did not use and had to shower in one of the other 2 full baths, inconvenient. House is not adequately furnished to the # of people it accommodates. Kitchen table, chairs and bar stools were substandard and not sturdy. Our daughters put bait in crab baskets on the dock, we went out for the day when we came back the traps were pulled out of the water (guessing neighbors were monitoring). Suggestions for additional house/property accessories to make guest stay more desirable: cooler for the beach, laundry basket, blender, knife sharpener as majority cutting knives were dull, beach/bathing towels are provided but are minimal, if you have 8-10 people there are not enough towels for everyone and house could use more basic amenities. The location is nice, quiet neighborhood not many small local mom/pop restaurants, larger establishments/restaurants are 10-15 minute drive. We left the house better stocked then when we arrived.

Excellent house, great location

We had a great week-long stay in this clean, well equipped house. It is bigger than it looks online or from the street with 4 large bedrooms and a wonderful heated pool. The location is excellent with a nice Publix within a two minute drive and a 10-15 minute drive to everything - beaches, boat ramps, Punta Gorda, etc. The house is in a quiet neighborhood on a canal that goes right out to the Myaka River and a fantastic fishing pier within a mile (other side of the river). We'll be back to Port Charlotte to fish in the future and will definitely try to stay here again.
