Anniversary weekend

Bed was broken. We weren’t told about it. I messaged owner and let her know. She told me that it was done by the previous renter and she had a new one coming the day after we left. 2 days later I get a message that we were being charged $600 for “damaged linen & a broken seal”. We did not damage anything nor did we break any seals. We saw the camera in the living room. We wouldn’t have damaged anything anyway but we darn sure wouldn’t knowing there were cameras! So glad that I have the text about the broken bed or else she probably would have blamed that on us! Renters, beware of this one!!’

Unfortunately we enjoyed Amanda as a guest prior to our cleaners returning back to the property to find seals broken in our property. We have stated in our guidebook that any seals broken would be a fine, we also informed Amanda of this via text. We also have camera footage of seals being broken and audio were they say as such. Amanda never once complained about the bed because the bed is very much still sleepable. I was informed about this matter the day they were leaving, if I would have known prior the issue would have been resolved.

Excellent location, great host!

My 5-year-old son and I stayed here for a week and had a great time! This property is in a beautiful apartment complex that comes with lots of great amenities! The grounds were beautiful, neighbors were nice and quiet, and the property is in a very clean, safe area of town. Restaurants, coffee, gas station, cute shops, small businesses, and Walmart are all close by. The owners were very accommodating and great at communicating. There is not a TV in the home, only a projector and you need to have your own computer to hook up to it. This was a bit of a bummer because I need my computer for work, so when my son wanted to watch something he had to do so on his iPad. They also didn't have barstools or a kitchen table, and there wasn't proper bedding for the futon. However, when I communicated this to the owner, she appreciated the feedback and I'm confident she will correct this issue for future guests. None of these small issues dampened our stay, we had an excellent time and the property was great! I would highly recommend staying here.
