Located 50 yards from the beach and home to several surf breaks, and an open shoreline, that is ideal for surf fishing and dolphin watching, this is the perfect spot to maximize your ocean paradise vacation. With two huge porches, you have a beautiful view over the Atlantic, with stunning views of both the sunrise and sunset. Relax and tan on the sun deck or go under to the covered deck to enjoy the breeze while lounging in the hammocks. Surrounded by restaurants with vegetarian options or fresh caught-catch straight out of the ocean, Kill Devil Hills has everything on the menu. Close to Avalon Fishing pier, Sea Scape Golf Links, and several public beach accesses, you’ve got plenty of options for fun in the sun.

Optional Linen Package $225 plus tax (Beds Made and 8 Bath sets) **Beds come equipped with comforters and pillows by default.**

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time! Ample space for a family of 8. Clean, neat, and exactly as advertised. We had a broken bed and the hot tub wasn't working. They were both fixed within 24 hours by friendly professionals.

Great location

The house was centrally located within good eating restaurants, souvenir shops and awesome access to the beach. The house was very clean and great accommodations for our entire family. My only recommendations would be to include the beddings and towels in the original price, not to add an additional charge.

Cleared To Land was perfect!

This house was cozy with all of the necessities in place. Very convenient to everything. 2 minute walk to the beach. Very comfortable for our Family of 8 with plenty of room to spread out. Would definitely stay here again!

Vacation 2022

The house was really well kept for the age of the property. We loved that it had 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Even though we were about a half block back from the beach we still had a view of the ocean.

Excellent location

Beach access was close. Beach toys were great especially the cart. Kitchen utensils were new and sufficient. Only "Knock" was the neighbor in the green house behind us has two dogs that barked/wined all night. There should be a dog ordinance.

It went so fast!

We had so much fun. We were very close to the ocean. I loved the view from the living room window. My husband loved sitting in the screened porch. The kids had their own floor and bathrooms. Everyone was happy!

The Best Vacation!

We had a very pleasant and fun-filled stay at Cleared to Land. The house was so amazing and beautiful. We got to go to the beach almost every day. Being able to have the beach umbrella, chairs and cart made the beach days possible and the most enjoyable vacation we have ever had! We got to try new places to eat that are close to the house. We did not have any bad food experience. Cleared to Land gets 5 Stars from us! We will be returning in the future. Our annual family trip is to the OBX! Looking so forward to next year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 25th year coming to the Outer Banks and "Cleared to Land" is our favorite house yet (it was our first time at this home). The owners have provided a happy, welcoming home with so many nice little touches that we felt truly cared for. The kitchen is fully stocked and incredibly well organized, the decks easily view the ocean, the screened porch with swing was lovely, and the walk to the beach takes about 2 minutes. Oh, and the hot tub was divine. We will absolutely be coming back to this home!

You can clearly see the ocean from the deck and it’s a very short walk to the beach. A few mornings we actually saw dolphins when we were drinking our coffee out on the screened in porch. This house is also close to many restaurants and shops but far enough away from the main road so you can’t hear a lot of traffic. We will be back. Thank you so much!

Wonderful 1st Experience in OBX

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was wonderful and offered everything we needed for an amazing stay. It was very clean when we arrived and we were able to check in at 4 which was incredibly helpful after a long drive with 2 kids lol. The layout of the house, the fully stocked kitchen and beach gear, the hot tub, and outdoor shower made it awesome! Some pros/notes: there is a coffee pot and keuring available. There is a vacuum on each floor. Bedspreads, mattress covers and pillows are already provided even without the linen package. Living room TV is a smart TV. All others offer direct TV. The beach access is approximately 800 ft so that was incredible! Oh and there is a beach wagon which was a lifesaver!Some cons to note though, the house is older so some of the fans and light fixtures did not work. And most of the sliding screen doors were difficult to open and close. The refrigerator has an issue with the doors not creating a suction so you have to push it closed. All items were reported and maintenance was scheduled to come out when we left (that was our request). The rental company was always responsive and helpful.

A circuit breaker kept tripping, the dimmers are sketchy, hard to tell which switches work and don't, kitchen lighting needs an upgrade for dark offseason.Living room furniture is wicker and not very comfortable.I'd recommend against the towel service - very cheap towels.Grill is quite old and dirty. Realtor came to clean by hosing it down - didn't get rid of lots of grease and gunk build-up.Our first time to this part of OBX - not very biker or pedestrian friendly (lack of sidewalks, shoulders).Fireplace doesn't work - we realized it wasn't in the description, but there is a photo of it.

We especially love the screened porch and swing. Also, the beach is easily accessed and never crowded (even during our gorgeous week in August). Fabulous Beach Vacation House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house had everything we needed - plenty of bedrooms, large kitchen, enough decks so everyone could have some outdoor time. The beach chairs and cart were very useful for the quick walk to the beach. The outdoor shower was super helpful for keeping the house relatively sand-free. And we really loved the screened porch for evening hangouts.
