Perfect for a family beach vacation, this Gulf-front sun suite, located at Gulf Shores Plantation, offers a completely remodeled and comfortable space for you and your guests. This second-floor condo includes a direct, beach-facing balcony, a well-equipped kitchenette, a pub-height dining table - perfect for meals or rainy day games - and an inviting living space with a sofa bed and a cable TV.

On-site, you and your guests will enjoy various resort amenities, including six outdoor pools, one indoor pool, a fitness room, eight tennis courts, and a putting green!

THINGS TO KNOW
The kitchenette has a full-size refrigerator, a two-burner cooktop, two coffee makers, a microwave/convection oven combo, and a dishwasher.
There are shared laundry facilities on the ground floor.
Beach chairs can be rented on the beach during the spring and summer.
This property is managed by Vacasa Alabama LLC.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

A great little studio facing the beach near Fort Morgan, far away from the hussle and bustle of Gulf Shores and Foley. Perfect little oasis with everything you could need, just pop by the grocery store on your way there.

Property and beach were extremely clean room was clean but paint peeling off the walls shower drain extremely slow standing in water as you were taking shower. Could be updated.

Beautiful view, but the room was not ready when we arived at 4:15pm. The cleaner did return and finish by around 5:30. Overall it was clean in the general area, but there was mold around the tub as seen in the picture. The walls were dusty. Needs repainting. Overall a good stay. it was comfortable

The best part of this condo is the location-faces the beautiful Gulf. Easy walk down from the condo to the beach. Kitchen is tiny but functional. Great little getaway.

Superb little place big view

It was a great little effiency with plenty of space. Above the restaurant but no noise or smells. Close to stairs if you didn't want to take elevator. They had all of the amenities needed aside from food. Loved it!

Will not revisit

Not the cleanest room I've visited. Could improve esthetics, walls had repairs that had not been painted yet, tp holder broken. There was plenty of dust and mold in the tub. Couldn't hang out on the balcony, because one of the balconies near us had a smoker. THE BIGGEST FAIL - On Friday afternoon we went back to the room for a nap, (4th of July) and were awaken by someone entering our room with a code. (Code I thought I only had access to). I was told by the rep from the 800# provided that there had been a maintenance check scheduled for that day. We lost all sense of security because we were worried that someone could get in while we were sleeping or not there. The only pro was that it had easy access to the beach.

It was fine

We didn’t love how we could hear the music from the restaurant down stairs while we were trying to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves or that we had to pay extra for parking which was never disclosed to us that it was extra. But it was ok. Nothing great or too terrible.

Family Friendly

I was so nervous about my kids being too loud after reading the restrictions of the condo. However, it was such a kind kid friendly environment. We stayed a week. The host had beach accessories available for the kids to use, extra sheets and blankets. We spent most of our time by the pool during the day and the beach at night looking for ghost crabs. The host met every expectation we had for a family friendly vacation. The security guard Jordan was so gentle with our kids. She’s the only staff we encountered other than at the Sassy Bass. The workers at the Sassy Bass wasn’t as kind as expected but maybe they were having a bad day. We had a blast either way. Thank you for having us.

Loved the location, view and place. It was perfect for my little family. However, downside was even though there were beds to sleep 6 people only 2 of the beds had bedspreads. Everyone else just got a sheet? An extra blanket would be nice. The bathroom light was janky and we had to shower in the dark. No one sent me the code for check in as they were supposed to so after driving 12 hours I had to go through the process of waiting to talk to someone to get the code so I could get in the room.

The room is cute, but the building itself and the hallway leading to the room are in desperate need of a renovation and are quite drab (ie. no windows/natural light). The saunas and the hot tubs were both out of order. We were also not sent our entry code in advance so upon arrival we had to spend one hour on the phone trying to get a hold of someone who would give us the code to enter. The room itself felt kind of dirty, had a strong bacon smell, and the floors and sheets didn't seem extremely clean. The view was nice, but the balcony was small.

We checked in and the place was not cleaned at all, the sheets were stained and ripped, one of the pillows had like a burnt rip on it, curtains were stained, the table outside was broken, the dishes were dirty, I had to the cleaning myself. I reached out to vacasa and was told someone would get back to me and to this day haven't heard from anyone. The amenity card wasn't given to me until the second day. We found undergarments on the side one of the bunk beds which were not ours and also some behind the dresser by the TV. Overall this was not a pleasant experience. And vacasa didn't seem to care at all, I sent them pictures anhd they responded with a text message, " this definitely needs to be looked at" and noone during our stay reached out. Vacasa doesn't care, I will be booking elsewhere from now on.

Do not stay here!

This is our 3rd time staying at Plantation Dunes but our 1st time booking via Vacasa. The WORST experience. The code to get in the unit was 10 digits long, meaning someone had to pull their phone out every time we wanted to go in. At least make it our phone number or shorten the code to 4 digits. The room was NOT clean. I took pictures but am unable to add them to my review. Good and drink still in cabinet fronts, fridge and dishwasher were covered in handprints and dirt. There was a hole in the door knob plate that we could see the hallway out of, which means people outside our door could also see in! There were toenails on the floor and long curly hairs in the bed. We both have short hair. Cigarette butts outside on balcony. Lots of black mold in bathroom above shower due to no exhaust fan. Sheets didn’t fit the bed and were very scratchy. All of these issues are due to poor property management. I let vacasa know immediately about the issues and all they did was credit me a $90 cleaning fee. Vacasa didn’t leave any dishwashing pods so I couldn’t use the dishwasher and the Palmolive that was left had been watered down so cleaning wasn’t effective. Our stay was very uncomfortable and I let them know that and that we were leaving a day early because of it. All I received was an apology and that they’d let the home office know. Don’t rent from Vacasa, choose a personal owner.

AMAZIING STAY

Everything was wonderful and we loved the condo! It was very clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed for our trip. We will definitely stay here again!
