The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Master bed was very comfortable. The location of the balcony is directly over deck and allows you to feel part of the entertainment without having to leave the room.

Great Summer vacation

We really liked this unit & we've stayed in quite a few different ones in our 20+ years of coming to the Golden Sands. The view from our balcony was great & the room was a great size for our family. The only thing I wish could get figured out is that the bedrooms never seem to have much air conditioning in them. And that goes for other units we've stayed in as well not just this one.

Amazing view

apartment with a beautiful view, very tidy. The only problem is the sound insulation between the apartments is bad, so if you are "lucky" to have small children jumping above your apartment, good luck and Wifi is not good at all!That is why I am giving a four star to this place.

Noisy, outdated, overpriced.

The first thing I notice about a beach condo is the balcony. The outdoor furniture, resin Adirondack chairs, were completely uncomfortable and difficult to get in and out of. The living room furniture was also very uncomfortable, what wasn’t attached by velcro, constantly slid from the chairs. The beds and pillows were probably the worst I’ve ever experienced in 25 years of going to OC. The elevators were slow, and only 3 out of 4 seemed to be working. We waited in line on Friday evening for over 15 minutes. We opted for the dank dirty stairs a few times which smelled of black mold and urine, Speaking of urine, the outdoor pool was practically yellow. We paid over $4600 for the week. Waste of money. There were always people outside making noise, I could only hear the ocean waves after midnight, when everything shut down. The unit was extremely dusty. The AC filter was changed half way through the week and it seemed to help.

No tv in bedrooms

Upon checking in, the second bedroom did not have active tv service. This issue was “fixed” two days later by the maintenance guy (he was great), however fixing this room and tv meant turning off and disabling tv in another room. In addition, the screen door was broken. The owner would not return calls or communications for these issues to be fixed. Will not be staying in 307 again.

Beds/Furniture very worn

The view of course was great, ocean front, the furniture was extremely worn and uncomfortable to sit on, actually used a kitchen chair when watching TV. The master bed was extremely worn, sunken in the middle. The second bedroom's beds were very hard.

fun vacation

the condo was great. the cleaning staff not very good. We needed to clean unit upon arrival. I contacted management company but cleaning crew could not come until next day. I just cleaned the place. The condo was nice, the property was great. the staff at the property was wonderful. I would stay there again.

Under New Management

The Manager was not welcoming at all!! Very rude and demading during unloading. I understand there is a system but it all in your delivery and how you say things. Also the security guards were new and made sure they were seen. It created a different vibe for sure and at times I felt they created issues.
