Welcome to Marvel by the Sea, a one-of-a-kind Gulf Shores retreat where the Marvel Universe meets coastal luxury. This direct beachfront home offers 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, and accommodations for up to 20 guests plus two dogs (with additional fees). With its playful Marvel-themed décor, private saltwater pool, and unbeatable beach access, it is the ultimate spot for families and groups to enjoy fun, sun, and relaxation.

Indoor Comforts
Marvel by the Sea features spacious, bright interiors with two levels of living space designed for both entertainment and relaxation. The main living area includes a large sectional sleeper sofa, two mounted TVs, and open access to the dining area and kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen is finished with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and bar seating to complement the large dining table.

Upstairs, guests will find a second living area with a sofa sleeper and TV, ideal for movie nights or kids’ hangouts. Both levels include a washer and dryer for added convenience.

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes.  However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25.  We have no exception to this policy.

We got this house for our annual family trip. We had 5 families (11 adults and 5 kids under 5). Each family had their own bedroom and private bathroom. Laundry on both floors was excellent. Right on the beach within minutes of everything. Plenty ofroom for everyone. It was perfect!

The location and property were perfect! The only thing I wish I would have paid more attention to was the fact there was not a walkway to the main beach. We had to climb a dune back-and-forth, which made it extremely difficult for my elderly mother to enjoy the beach. But the pool made up for it for her.

Amazing house

We took a group of friends with 10 kids and had the best time. The house was amazing and clean. The hosts were very easy to get ahold of and the location was perfect. It felt like we had our own private beach. Highly recommend

Amazing house

My daughters and I just stayed at the Marvel House. I can’t say enough great things about it. The house was spotless with very nice furnishings. The pool was very nice since the ocean is definitely too cold to get in. It is in a very nice, convenient location. We are already wanting to return to GS and will definitely be staying here again. I have nothing but positive things to say about this house!!

What a great location and an even better property. Fully furnished and seems as if it’s a new property. There is nothing you will want or need here that’s for sure. Television in the living room was a bit confusing but other than that it was a top notch place to stay!

Great home

Loved seeing the dolphins swim from balcony. Had a couple issues with the master bedroom cooling but property company was very responsive and maintenance crew were super friendly

Fantastic Beach House Great Location

The house was incredibly clean and new. Slept 5 couples and 3 children with plenty of room. The individual rooms are extremely big compared to other beach homes in GS. Washer/Dryer upstairs and downstairs which is nice. Pool was clean and heated. Will be booking this house again next year.

Marvel by the Sea

Great space and super comfy beds and pillows, super close to everything. A/C was perfect. Only con is there is no boardwalk, and if you have kids and things to carry out its a hard walk back and forth. Not to complain but just to inform. :)

Great beach house with fun decor! Pool was great!

Great beach front home with heated pool right on the beach! Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Fun whimsical decor. Very few negatives. Not enough seating for all the beds. Seating in living room is pretty uncomfortable. Wing table is really in the way and not very functional.

Great Family Trip

We had 6 couples of family and friends stay here for the week along with our 2 boys (3 & 1) and it was perfect for everyone. Plenty of space for game night. Only “complaint” would be fridge space and the need for ice. We brought coolers to help. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The knives were pretty dull, but again, this place was great and we had the best time. Rooms were fun, my son fell in love with the jeep bed which made nap time go a lot smoother. Would recommend this place to anyone with a large group wanting to be on the beach and have a pool. 10/10

Love Marvel by the Sea!!!

This is the best house we have ever stayed in! Hopefully we will return next year. We had 2 infants with us and the bedrooms were large enough for a pack ‘n play for them to sleep in. If you are going to this house this summer just a few things- the kitchen stuff was average. I should have packed more of my pans. We had a crowd and could have used 2 refrigerators but we made do with coolers. Surprisingly the ice maker was able to keep up with our crowd. There is a gas grill - we were expecting charcoal. Loved our visit!

The perfect getaway

The sleeping accommodations were perfect for our group of 12. We wish there was a pantry, but we utilized the open shelves and the bar height table. The parking was plentiful, too. The Master bedroom (Ironman) has curtains that don't cover the doors so if anyone wants to sleep in a darker bedroom, the curtains need to be wider. The beds and pillows are so comfortable that all of us said we slept better while we were there. We couldn't find instructions on how to use the two tvs at the same time. that would have been nice since we are SEC fans. Overall, it was MARVELous!

"Marvel"ous, simply Marvelous

Great location, grandkids loved the pool and being right on the beach was wonderful. A couple of issues, although nothing terrible: There was no vacuum cleaner or electric broom, so I called the property manager and was told they would requisition one. We never got one and never heard from them even though i asked them to call me if a problem. Also, there are a lot of area rugs in the house and they tend to flip up on the edges - I nearly tripped every time i walked into the "bunk" room. Several of the bathroom fixtures were loose-maybe from the remodeling ... No hair dryer, but had we read the list of things to bring (before we got there), we would have brought one. Shame on us!
