I will throw all the trash in the bags down the laundry chute and no place else. Any trash that does not fit down the chute, I will bring it down and place inside the dumpster outside the lower garage. Under no circumstances will I put my garbage anywhere else. I will follow house rules and prevent any type of smoke/fire in the apartment. I acknowledge that causing the fire alarm to go off will bring the fire rescue and result in a charge of $1,010.00. I will never leave any items in the hallway to include (but not limited to) shoes, beach chairs, umbrellas, and groceries. I will not play music (except with headphones plugged in) in any of the common areas to include the pool backyard.

Location was great! The beach was a short walk away and the rooftop pool was nice! Front desk seemed bothered when we had questions. Extra towels were not provided. Couldn’t get ahold of the front desk on the phone or in person for additional towels, toilet paper and trash bags so we bought our own. Additional fees not included in vrbo price make it more expensive than we thought.

Dishonest posting and fees overcharging practice
Additional 3rd and 4th payment, representing an additional charge of 59% comparing to the listed price, were requested after our significant 1st payment. Hidden fees, listed as Service charges, Management fees, Resort fees and Registration fees, were charged over the initial Service and Cleaning fees. A text message was sent, explaining additional fees were hidden in the description and that this is not their fault if we couldn’t calculate the final cost ourselves in the first place. We couldn’t do anything about it and we had to pay the whole remaining amount or cancel and lose our 1st payment.

Location was ideal but the unit not so much
Stayed at a unit in CHC for 8 days May 20-28, 2023. A few days before our arrival I was in touch with the contact from the management team regarding certain details, one of which, was early check in, which was an additional charge and we paid for. Upon our early arrival the front desk had no reservation for us. The VRBO rep was not on site at the time of our arrival. After about 45 min the rep showed up and we were checked in.
Once in the unit the freezer was making a very loud noise and was a block of ice that was leaking all over the floor and the shower handle was broken. We informed the VRBO rep who contacted maintenance to have the problems resolved which took several hours, but things were fixed.
The next morning we went out and purchased the special coffee pods for the fancy coffee maker only to find that the machine leaked all over the place. So not only did we have the buy the special pods but we also had to buy our coffee everyday. Besides the coffee maker there was no toaster, the internet was so spotty that we had to use our phones hot spots to work, there were only 3 knives and 1 tiny garbage bag in the kitchen with no back ups.
Honestly, the only reason we stayed at this VRBO was to be able to have coffee in the morning and a lite breakfast in the unit, we could do non on this. We should have stayed at the Marriott.
The upside to the CHC is the location and the great roof top bar with gorgeous sunsets. Would I stay her again? NO!!
