Renovated cottage with 55 ft of lake front

Bring the whole family and enjoy a relaxing getaway on beautiful Higgins Lake! This spacious, newly renovated cottage is perfect for a large family or two small families and is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood on the south side of the lake.

Enjoy your own private lakefront with a sandy-bottom beach, a dock with a boat hoist, and plenty of complimentary water toys, including:

Pedal pontoon
2 paddleboards
2 kayaks

The home has been recently updated with new flooring, appliances, and furniture, providing a fresh and comfortable space for your stay.

This property does not have air conditioning (A/C), but every bedroom and living area is equipped with ceiling and/or window fans for added comfort.

The dock is typically installed by mid-May and removed around mid-October, depending on weather conditions.

My sister and I loved this weekend getaway to Higgins lake staying here right on the lake, just wished for better weather. The Host Anna and Juan were very informative and communicated with me, they even provided a list of amenities available at the house so we were prepared and we will definitely be back next year too!

We had such a wonderful stay on the lake in this very comfortable home. The yard and lake toys were perfect. The home clean, well stocked and better than pictured. Communication with the host was amazing, fast reply and so very helpful. If we make it back to Higgins I would not want to stay anywhere else.

We loved staying here. There is so many things in the house that you dont have to pack much. We wish there were kitchen towels, batteries to replace in the remotes and it would be nice to have more then 1 tv, but everything else was fantastic. Our kids loved the indoor and outdoor toys. We will definitely look into booking again. Communication was great as well. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful spot on the lake! It was clean and nice. Most amenities that you need were there. My family enjoyed it very much and thank you for creating great memories for us!

Fun on Higgins Lake

We really enjoyed the location and amenities of this property! Close to some great hiking spots and ice cream shops, and the lake itself is beautiful. The game table was especially fun for the kids on rainy days, and our entire family enjoyed the SUPs.

Higgins Lake Cottage.

Overall, 4 star rental and would rent again. Great location. Only negatives: 1) the kitchen had to be cleaned upon our arrival; and 2) the yard needed mowed.

Much needed vacation

The house was beautiful as well as the gorgeous lake. The water was shallow for the kids to swim safely. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book again in the future!

The owners of this property thought of everything to make our week stay so incredible. Great trip

Stayed here for group trip. The house was very well stocked and spacious for our group of 8. We had a great time. The boys really enjoyed the 3in1 activity table. Thanks for hosting.

Even Better The Second Time!

This was our 2nd visit and it was fantastic! Clean, clean! The weather could not had been better. The house has so many wonderful extras - our grands LOVED the kayaks and went out many times a day. Lovely decorating and very comfortable for families. Thank you for accommodating with the ramp and handrail. Owners were easy to communicate with! Can't wait to go back!

Very nice stay

We had a great time staying at this property. We were able to bring a small boat and were allowed to use the boat lift at the dock, which was very convenient, especially since we had heavy winds and fairly large waves. The property outside nicely maintained, firewood was well-stocked, and the grill worked very well. We had a great weekend and even were lucky enough to see the northern lights over the lake.
