Annual Family Vacation

This was our third family vacation to Cape Coral. The home was absolutely breathtaking, just the right size, clean, and located close to everything. My son-in-law and grandsons said the fishing was great; my eldest grandson actually had a manatee swim by while he was fishing one afternoon. I'm not sure where the family had the most fun, swimming or playing card games at night. I also would like to say thank you to the property manager, Marianne, who may sure that everything was ready for our stay and that the checkout went smoothly.

Lovely Home in a Great Neighborhood

The Villa Venetian was nicely stocked with everything you may need for an extended stay, with the exception of pool towels, we had to purchase some of our own. Also, there were no pool floats or toys, and they were hard to find to purchase in February. That seemed strange for Florida. The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved the sunrise poolside, enjoying breakfast on the patio with the beautiful view of the canal. A couple of negatives, there was very little closet space in the master bedroom/bathroom to hang clothes and no space to store suitcases. Also, no access to the garage if you need space for larger items. Overall, it's a spacious, beautiful home in a great neighborhood and we enjoyed our 18 night stay.

Absolutely Lovely!

Villa Venetian is a wonderful Florida family home located in a safe and friendly Cape Coral residential area. This beautiful home is well-maintained, spacious and has amazing indoor and outdoor living areas. We had a group of 6 adults and each couple had their own space for sleeping with great common areas for relaxing and enjoying the warm, sunny weather. The home is equipped with everything you need--comfortable eating, sleeping and lounging areas throughout the house. The lanai has tons of room to relax in the sun or shade and the pool is warm and spacious. We drove to area beaches, spent a little time shopping in the Fort Myers and Cape Coral areas, ate at a number of superb restaurants and took in a spring training game. But our favorite activity was to gather at the house for family time, sunshine and summer-like evenings. A great place to visit. We plan to be back!

Great house. Some communication issues.

This is a beautiful house and the pool is fantastic. However, here are a few improvements the management should consider - 1. Have some pool noodles and other beach and house amenities available for your guests who fly in. 2. Make your contract and details more transparent for your guests. The contract does not mention that the property manager would come in person to collect for electricity charges at check-out. It also doesn't provide details about what charges to expect. This creates a poor check-out experience for guests. I also recommend that guests read the electrical meter themselves on the first day and before the property manager arrives at checkout to assure fairness.

You get robbed of your damage deposit because of false claims and intrusion

We were told of a refundable damage deposit and never received it because of false claims of damage to the walls, furniture and pool. While we did not do anything to the walls or furniture, we had pool toys in the pool and pictures were taken and sent to us from the property manager while we were away for the day or the toys claiming that we ruined the pool and damaged it. The manager intruded on our stay with accusations and demands of cleaning the house when we still had 2 days left and had already planned to do a thorough clean. It was probably the worst vacation ever not to mention the added bills that you are not told about - electric and a grill cleaning one - by the way, even if you clean the grill immaculately, you still get charged $60 because they are trying to keep your damage deposit. I would never recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a fair and honest landlord and manager because these people are out to ensure that your vacation does not end happily.

Careful

The house was beautiful and the view was great. The property manager is very rude and shows up to the house unannounced whenever she pleases. Once a year we come down to visit my family that’s lives in Florida. They came over to see myself and my children, the property manager showed up into the backyard and started yelling at all of us stating they needed to leave. Once I messaged the owners, they claimed the house is like a hotel and you have to pay for guests to visit. As I said that should be in the description because any house I’ve rented did not have a problem with this. In the description is asks to keep party outside and not in the house. My children used the dock to fish and each time the lines were cut and the poles were places on the table. The owners don’t live her and have the manager come each day to check the house. They have cameras around the house which stay on the entire time, which is strange because that’s an invasion of privacy. The property manager requested to do a check out before the checkout time and say we can pack when she was done. There were people who came to the house and parked in the driveway to access the boat on the dock, which was odd because we rented the house and needed the driveway. We left early to get to our next destination and they claimed we failed the checkout and didn’t clean the grill which we NEVER used. They demanded 588$ for this accusation. Great house, terrible management and organization. They’re looking for more money at the end of the stay so be careful.

Exceeded all expectations in every way.

Don’t believe everything you read! I must admit I had some reservations when I read some of the previous reviews. Our experience could not have been the complete opposite. The manager met us and explained the villa access and operating processes then left us to our holiday. I did make contact with a pool issue and it was sorted out by the pool cleaner. The villa was spotless, in excellent all round condition and provided an ideal spot for a three generation holiday for 6 adults and three children. My brother, wife and nephew visited for a day, with the owners prior approval, and even with 12 of us there was ample space, crockery and facilities. The bedrooms were all airy, bright and well furnished. The ceiling fans were also a great addition which meant the air kept moving at night to assist the air conditioning, which meant the villa was always at a comfortable temperature. The kitchen facilities lacked for nothing with regard to equipment, glassware, crockery and silverware. We made full use of the BBQ, although it has to be said that it has probably reached the end of its life due to corrosion. The pool and surrounding area was fully utilised, I am surprised the children have not developed webbed feet they spent so much time in the pool. With it being a salt water pool it was preferable to a chlorine pool. The outdoor shower was a really useful facility, although we did break the shower head but replaced it ourselves the next day. We even got the cost refunded against our electrify usage, which we were not expecting. Many hours were also spent on the canal deck, fishing, watching the fish and the manatees!!! Our granddaughter was thrilled when they kept swimming past. Overall everyone agreed that it was the best villa we had ever rented as a family and there have been quite a few! Our only criticism would be that it would benefit from an additional separate toilet, but that is being very critical. Thank you Marianne for your kind attention, thank you Rolf and Ada for allowing us to have the opportunity to share this fantastic villa.

Toller Aufenthalt in einer tollen Villa

Wir haben unseren 6wöchigen Aufenthalt in dieser atemberaubenden Villa sehr genossen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der große beheizte Pool lud jeden Tag zum schwimmen ein und auch der Ausblick auf den Kanal war unbeschreiblich. Vielen Dank für alles und vor allem die tolle Betreuung durch die nette Hausverwalterin, die sich um alles gekümmert hat.

Nicht! zu empfehlen!!!!

Erst 3 Tage vor der Anreise haben wir erfahren, dass die Garage nicht zum Mietobjekt gehört. Das wäre bei früherer Kenntnis ein Ausschlusskriterium gewesen, aber in der Beschreibung des Objekts wird nicht darauf hingewiesen! Bei Ankunft fanden wir den Pool unsauber und grün (Algen) vor. Leider können wir hier keine Fotos hochladen, wir habe sie aber, falls sich jemand dafür interessiert. Der Poolservice, der am nächsten Tag kam, meinte: "Der Pool ist undicht und verliert Wasser, wodurch die eingesetzten Chemikalien wegen der automatischen Auffüllung verdünnt werden. Der Eigentümer wisse das, macht aber nichts!" Wir haben den Pool danach (wegen der reichlich eingesetzten Chemikalien) nur noch zum Füße kühlen benutzt. Am zweiten Tag stellten wir fest, dass wir im Haus nur noch kaltes Wasser haben. Nach 3 Tagen mit nur kaltem Wasser war der Heißwasserboiler "schon" getauscht. Am vorletzten Tag war der Wasserstand des Pools soweit gesunken, dass wir auf Anweisung der Property-Managerin die Umwälzpumpe abschalten sollten. Am Abreisetag klingelt um morgens 7:00 eine Pool-Firma an der Tür, die uns verkündet, dass der Pool jetzt leergepumpt wird. Komischerweise haben wir auch keinen Mietvertrag bekommen, selbst auf Nachfrage bekommen wir die Antwort "machen wir nie"! In über 30 Jahren, in denen wir jährlich verschiedene Häuser in Cape Coral gemietet haben, ist uns so etwas noch nicht untergekommen.

Es ist ein wirklich wunderschönes, großes Haus welches sehr gut gelegen ist. Vorzuheben ist der große Pool.

Wundervoller Urlaub

Sehr schöne Villa mit viel Freiraum

Wir waren von der Villa sehr angenehm überrascht. Die Volla war so wie beschrieben, der Platz war super vorhanden und die Küche komplett ausgestattet. Natürlich gibt es immer mal Mängel (ein Fenster war nicht zu öffnen und der Grill funktionierte nicht) aber das hat die Ausstattung und der Zustand der Vill wieder gut gemacht. Die meiste Zeit Aren wir sowieso unterwegs. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können dies Villa bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

Beach Exploration

The property is very nice BUT pool filter wouldn't turn on, kept saying error. Pool guy came out and it only worked one day. The blinds on the sliding doors in the bedroom facing the pool had 6 pieces missing. Couldn't sleep with sun hitting your face in the morning. It was finally fixed on the 4th day. Mattresses are uncomfortable and do not have covers for bedbugs. The large shower windows in the master bathroom are see thru and are facing the street. Take a shower at night and the whole neighborhood can see you (not a pretty sight). The shower curtain in the second bathroom was dingy. Having said that, the property is very nice and conveniently located. The house is very well stocked and clean. It even has a small boat if you wish to rent it (expensive but you at least have that option). We were hit with an electricity charge at check out although we were careful to turn off lights and fans when not at home which was daily, when we left to explore a new beach everyday. The house is not close to beaches, if that is what you are looking for, but you can fish off the dock. Overall very nice.

Beautiful home with water view!

Enjoyed kayaking, the pool & the local beaches! Plenty of good restaurants to check out!

We would stay at this property again!

The salt water pool is amazing. The kitchen is very well stocked. The location is great. Very comfortable home, well-appointed home. Bring your own pool floaties and beach lawn chairs ...there is no access to the garage. We stayed 27 nights! Beautiful!

For most part it was all as advertised, very quiet and lots of room. The salt water pool was a new thing for us but found it very pleasant. The house was noisy due to the ceramic tile maybe some area rugs would help? Over all a excellent place place.

Wunderschöne Villa Venetian mit Charme und Eleganz in SW Florida

Wir verbrachten mit unserer ganzen Familie eine rundum zufriedene und tolle Ferienzeit in Cape Coral. Dazu beigetragen hat ganz sicher die Villa Venetian. Das Haus war bei Check-In absolut sauber bis ins letzte Detail. Ganz freundlicher Empfang der Verwalterin. Im Vorfeld konnten wir schon viele wichtige Informationen mit den Besitzern vorabklären so dass es uns viel leichter und gezielter gelang unsere Ausflüge zu planen. Das Haus liegt in einer gehobenen Wohngegend man merkt sofort wie freundlich alle sind. Speziell ist dass es im Umkreis keine weiteren Touristen hat, so bekommt man das Gefühl sich fast wie in einem eigenem Heim zu fühlen. Im Innen Bereich des Hauses fehlt es an absolut nichts. Toll gibts natürlich 5 Schlafzimmer sehr komfortabel!!! Die Aussenterrasse ist sehr gross man hat viel viel Platz und man tritt einander nicht auf die Füsse. Ganz besonders gefiel uns die Sauberkeit des Pool- Wassers. Natürlich ist der Ausblich runter auf das Bootsdock sehr beeindruckend. Dieses ist in einem absolut top Zustand gehalten (da hatten wir schon andere Sachen erleben müssen) und wunderschön ist die Nacht Beleuchtung auf der Terrasse und beim Eingang. Das einzige was wir vermissten, wir hatten zuwenig Tage um alles noch mehr zu geniessen. Spricht eigentlich nur für Cape Coral und die Villa Venetian. Wir werden wieder zurück kommen und hoffen das Haus wird frei sein, für uns ein MUSS dorthin zurück zu kommen. Danke den Besitzern dass wir ihr Schmuckstück mieten durften. Ihr seid ganz tolle Vermieter. liebe Grüsse von uns allen

Toller Urlaub in Florida in einem wundervollen Rental Home

Unser 14- Tägiger Urlaub ging viel zu schnell vorbei. Wir hatten einen fantastischen und einmaligen Urlaub hier im Süd-Westen von Florida. Cape Coral ist ein äusserst gepflegter Ort. Es hat viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, grosse Mals, riesengrosse Food-Corner alles was es braucht um unbeschwert Ferien zu machen. Wir machten 3 Ausflüge Venice - Tampa - Everglades (Everglades Equipment Group) jeder dieser Orte war so unterschiedlich wie sie nur sein können. Die Villa Venetian steht inmitten eines gehobenen Wohnquartier ohne weitere Miethäuser in der Umgebung was wir sehr schätzten um auch unsere Ruhe zu geniessen. Der Garten ist äusserst gepflegt. Am Abend ist alles wunderschön Beleuchtet. Auch das Bootsdeck ist ideal zum angeln und Chillen dafür steht sogar ein grosser Tisch mit Stühlen zur Verfügung. Die Terrasse ist sehr gross. Viele Liegestühle Stühle Tische uvm. Der Pool beeindruckte. So glasklares Wasser. Erstaunt waren wir dass die Besitzer einen Schweizer Poolservice haben der wöchentlich den Pool reinigt. Im Innenbereich der Villa Venetian fehlt es an nichts. In jedem der grossen Betten entspanntes Schlafen, es hat überall mehr als genügend saubere Frottierwäsche frische Bett Lacken. Alles war tip top sauber. Da wir fast immer selber gekocht oder grilliert haben hat uns die grosse top eingerichtete Küche sehr gefallen. Hier wurde an nichts gesparrt. Zusammenfassend: Unser Urlaub war der absolut beste. Dank einem perfekten Ort mit tollem Wetter (1x Regen) einer wundervollen schönen Villa Venetian. Wir hoffen dass wir es wieder schaffen diese Gegend und die Villa zu geniessen. Einen besonderen Dank an die Besitzer der Villa Venetian. Ihr versteht es Urlauber glücklich zu machen so das man mit einem tollen Feeling nach Hause gehen kann verdanken wir euch. Wir empfehlen die Villa Venetian in jeder Hinsicht. DANKE!!!

Traumurlaub in Traumvilla vielen Dank an die Besitzer wir werden wieder kommen!!!

Unsere 10 köpfige Familie hatte einen wundervollen Urlaub im sonnigen heißen Florida. Die Vorfreude war entsprechend groß. Kurz vor Antritt sahen wir die vorgängige Bewertung eines anderen Gastes, was uns etwas verunsicherte. Unvoreingenommen kamen wir nach einem langen Flug abends endlich in der Villa Venetian an. Schon beim anfahren aufs Grundstück erlebten wir einen tollen Eindruck. Die ganze Außenanlage ist auf absoluten Top Niveau gehalten! Der Garten ein Traum mit grünem Rasen welcher seines gleichen sucht, mit toller eindrucksvoller Beleuchtung ausgestattet. Beim eintreten in die Villa... WAU!!! So sauber, ordentlich, gepflegt, wie wir es von zuhause gewohnt sind. Alles ist im und ums Haus vorhanden. Die Küche lässt absolut keine Wünsche offen. Badezimmer TOP sogar mit europäischer Dusche für Frauen. Alle 5 Schlafzimmer großzügig ohne Makel! Terrasse mit Sicht auf großen Kanal eine Augenweide. Erwähnenswert die wunderschöne Nachtbeleuchtung der Palmen und des gesamten Poolbereich welches einem ein Kribbeln verursacht. Die Terrasse mit wunderschönem Pool ein Traum viele Liegen alles scheint kaum gebraucht. Unsere Kidis brachten wir kaum noch von der Poolanlage weg wenn wir Ausflüge machen wollten. Vom Dock aus kann man Manatees Schildkröten füttern und gemütlich Fischen. Besonders gefiel, dass es 2 Bereiche hat, um sich mal zurück ziehen. Hungrig nach der Reise und gleich ein Steak auf den Grill was will man mehr, dieser war übrigens top Sauber. Anderen Tags Checkin mit der Verwaltung prompt professionell danach jeder Zeit für uns erreichbar und dies war doch einige male nötig für Ausflug Tipps, die Dame war sehr nett. Was uns beeindruckte dass die Villa absolut Stilvoll und mit so viel Liebe eingerichtet ist. Wir können die Villa Venetian allen zukünftigen Gästen wärmstens empfehlen. Es war alles in einem ober sauberen Level gehalten Bettwäsche, Tücher, Kissen, Clean. Zudem stehen Badetücher kleine Stühle und Schirme für den Strand zur Verfügung. Vielen vielen Dank an die Besitzer ihres Hauses das wir darin unsere Ferien verbringen durften.

Unrichtige Angaben

Wir haben nach einem Haus mit 5 Sz und 3 Bz gesucht. Deshalb sind wir auf die Villa Venetian gestoßen. Es gab nur 2Bz und 2 Wc. Wobei das 2. Wc nicht separat war. Der 2. bootslift war nicht benutzbar, sodass wir unser rental boat abbestellt haben. In der Beschreibung stand nichts, dass man die Garage nicht nutzen kann. Zudem war das gesamte Haus in keinster Weise geputzt. Der Grill war in einem desolaten Zustand. In der Kaffeemaschine befand sich verschimmeltes Wasser . Stuhlkissen und Bettwäsche stark verfleckt.Ungeziefer war im Haus. Den Mietvertrag habe ich erst nach 3 Tagen im Haus erhalten. Da konnten wir lesen, dass man wegen Ungeziefer keine Beschwerde anbringen kann. Die gesamte Hausbeschreibung entspricht in keinster Weise den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten. Insgesamt höchst unseriös. Die Property Managerin war um keine Ausrede verlegen. Insgesamt auf keinen Fall empfehlenswert. Wir fühlen uns betrogen
