SALTWATER POOL, DOG FRIENDLY, STEPS TO THE BEACH! Check out Anchor House!

Welcome to Anchor House! Bring your whole crew to this fun beach house in the popular Windy Hill section of North Myrtle Beach. This house is in a PRIME location, not only is the beach steps away but Barefoot Landing, ten golf courses, Starbucks, House of Blues, mini golf, restaurants, outlets, food stores, a winery are a short drive away. This property has a large, salt-water pool and backyard area for everyone to hang out. This spacious house has two separate units complete with two kitchens, two living and dining areas, perfect for vacationing with a large group. Six of the eight bedrooms have large King beds. Dogs are allowed and need to be disclosed prior to booking. There is an $85 pet fee per dog with a maximum of four dogs allowed. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN POOL or pool area. A pool cleaning fee of $250 will apply if any dogs are found in the pool.
Towels and Linens are included in the cleaning fee. Starter packs of toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags provided.
NO PARTIES/EVENTS/UNREGISTERED OR UNAUTHORIZED GUESTS ALLOWED ON PREMISES INCLUDING POOL/BACKYARD AREA-Primary booking guest must be 25 and present during the entire reservation. Primary guest must provide final guest headcount prior to arrival.

In the back of the house there is a separate one-bedroom unit with its own driveway and private entrance. This unit is a short term rental and does not have access to the parking areas, pool or backyard areas. This unit (Anchors Away) can be added on to Anchor House in addition to this listing (if available), or it may be rented to other guests during your stay. Ask us for pictures of this great private unit.

There are three security cameras on the exterior of the property. One on the front right which covers the front parking area, one on the front left, that covers the side parking area, and one above the door of the back unit that covers the back driveway. They may be recording and saving still images at any time. You may see landscapers, pool cleaners or maintenance team members onsite during your stay.
The grill is provided as a courtesy and we cannot guarantee its functionality. Guests are responsible for cleaning the grill. The pool is cleaned once a week during non peak and twice a week during peak season. Guests are responsible for skimming debris out of the pool in between cleanings. Guests can request an additional cleaning at guest's cost if possible.

Price and location can’t be beat. We were family of 10 adults 1 baby and 4 dogs! Anchor House provided us all the room we needed with just a short walk to the beach access across Ocean Blvd. It is close to plenty of restaurants and places to shop. The weather really didn’t allow us to enjoy the pool but it was a nice space. Damian and as a great host and always quick to answer any message.

Nice property close to the beach!!

Property was perfect for our group of 8 golfers. Contact with the property owner was excellent, short walk to the beach and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We would consider staying here again if we return to Myrtle Beach. Thanks, Damion for making this rental experience so easy!!

The location was great. We didnt realize that the only way from downstairs to up was outside. Both upstairs and down were furnished nice. Some of the outside plastic chairs were broken. The host responded to messages that i sent him.

Spring break 2024

My family and I stay here this past weekend for the children’s spring break. Great place for a large family!! The location was great for me; however, the teenagers wanted to see more people their age (walking distance activities and offerings). On the other hand the teens did love activities that were afford in the area(driving distance). I would rent this place again.

Great spot and room for everyone!

We stayed here with a large group of friends and family and Anchor House was perfect for what we needed. It offered two separate units and was nice to have two kitchens, living and dining areas. The kitchen was well stocked with both cooking items and appliances. The bedrooms were large and felt private. We used the outdoor spaces often-we loved the upper deck with ocean views and the backyard area was perfect for us to hang out. It was a very quick walk to the beach and easy to come back and forth. We can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the large pool. The location is great-we would go to Starbucks in the morning and then Barefoot Landing every night. Everyone enjoyed their stay, including Brody our dog. Would recommend!

The not so good time!!

Water pressure was not adequate for showers. The washer was very, very noisy, dryer won't dry clothes. Dishwasher wasn't working. Skillets were horrible , everything we tried to cook stuck to them. Pillows were flat!! Floors were dirty, no mop present to do our own mopping... Good things were good cool AC.. comfy beds,

We're sad to hear Kathy didn't enjoy this house as much as our other guests! We were in communication with her all week and not once did she mention any these issues. She did tell us they were having a great time. We would have been more than happy to to have helped in any way. Members of our cleaning and maintenance team were there on checkout and no issues were reported.

Great location, 2 min walk to the beach. Large, clean house with almost everything you may need to enjoy your vacation. We had 17 people (14 adults and 3 teenagers) and a dog. It was absolutely enough space for all of us. We really enjoyed our vacation and the house and definitely would stay there again!We also rented "Anchor Awy" unit, which is additional perfect one-bedroom fully equipped appartment with separate entry within the same house. Therefore, with "Anchor Away", house has 9 bedrooms, 3 kitchens, 6 bathrooms, 3 dining areas and many more spaces.The only few minor complaints: 1. The large tall table on the top floor dining area can easily accommodate at least 14 people, however there are only about 10 tall chairs in the house. We brought chairs from other floor, but they were of regular height, not good for the tall table.2. Few weak plastic chairs on the top deck (be careful).3. Old and slow electric stove in the top kitchen (it took about 45 min to boil large pot).As I said, very minor complaints. Everything else was really great!Thank you for having us and for the great vacation!

Perfect spot for large family!

These two houses were perfect for our families. The host Damion was great about communicating. We would defiantly stay there again! We did have some issues with how clean houses were. The other major issues is the deck on top had lose boards. Damion promptly responded to get it fixed. The upstairs has a very scary staircase that we have to buy baby gate to put on it because holes were very large inside house. The host did say age 3 + but even for 5+ I’d suggest remodeling the inside upstair staircase, as well as the outside deck. I’d also suggest getting more spoons! We only had a few. The beds are pretty uncomfortable. The walk to beach is very short and house had so much space. Overall though, was a perfect place.

This will be our second season bringing Anchor House to rent and we think it's an amazing house. The beach is so close, it has a large pool area and a ton of space for everyone to spread out. There is so much to do in the area and this house is in the perfect location. We hope you enjoy this house as much as our family does!
