Condo near Meadow Village Center

  • 5 of 5

My two friends and I stayed at this condo for a week long ski trip to Big Sky. I was unsure what to expect because of other experiences with condos for skiing in the past. I would like to say, that from the start this place was fantastic! As you enter the roomy condo you immediately see an open field behind the massive picture window with a fantastic view of the mountain! It was very spacious for 3 men and had everything we needed to be comfortable! The owner is very quick to respond to any inquiries and obviously takes pride in his place! The kitchen was great for preparing breakfast and did not lack for anything routine. The unit is easy to maintain at a comfortable temperature due to the many thermostats available. Initially we were concerned that we had made a mistake by not renting a car because the Bus Route Map was designed in a complicated fashion. Unfortunately, the bus system there is not stellar but it is adequate and that has nothing to do with the condo. Needless to say, we figured it out and had no problem getting to our destinations. Meadow Town Center is an easy walk from the condo and we quickly discovered a 10 minute walk (short cut) to the Town Center, where we went for the majority of our meals. The unit has a garage that the owner said we could use but we never needed it. We would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable, great location!

  • 5 of 5

The condo was perfect for a ski trip for a family of four. It was clean and well equipped. The owners were easy to work with and very helpful. The beds were comfortable. Although we were there during an unusually cold week, the heaters and ample supply of firewood kept us cozy. We would stay there again!

Everything we needed and more

  • 5 of 5

First of all, we had wonderful and clear communication with the owner well in advance of our stay. Instructions were provided for turning on the heat, the wifi codes, etc. In addition there were a lot of recommendations for grocery shopping, restaurants and things to do and his recommendations were spot on and much appreciated. There were no surprises. One of the things we most appreciated were the little things like cooking oil, butter and ketchup, laundry detergent and other supplies that meant that we were not going to the grocery store for a one use item. The condo was extremely well situated and well equipped. We would not hesitate to book this again.

Terrific location, accomodations and views of the mountains. There's no doubt I'll be back again.

  • 5 of 5

The condo had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. It was beautifully decorated, very comfortable king sized bed and a well appointed kitchen and laundry. Located within walking distance to the vibrate town center of Big Sky gave lots of options for dining. Being within 15 - 30 minutes of dozens of trails and other activities not the least oif which is Yellowstine National Park (45 min) allows you to sned your time doing what you came for and not driving long distances.

I enjoyed the rear facing deck that looks out over the 9th tee box to the mountains to the north and provided and great view of the sunset over Lone Mtn to the west.

Great place for a quiet place to get ready for the next days activities. I'll be back.

Great Value Even Better Location

  • 5 of 5

Rented this condo for a ski trip to Big Sky - three men total. What an excellent location and a great value. It beats the hustle and bustle of staying at the base of the mountain. Less than 10 minute drive to the base of Big Sky, all sort of amenities within walking distance (grocery store, micro brewery, gift shop, etc), cross country ski trails outside the back door. Oh... I need to mention... the view of Lone Peak is even better than what the photo shows. Bottom line, I would stay here again if I came back in winter - or any time of year - and would recommend this property to my friends and colleagues.

OTHER POSITIVES:

Immediate response from owners upon first inquiry

Owner communication was great

No checking in or checking out required at some realtor - easy in, easy out - simple!!

Very clean property

Quiet

Well stocked kitchen (dishes, pots/pans, coffee maker) to make your own meals

Satellite TV & good internet

REAL fireplace works well

Location... location... location

the VIEW!!!

Owner recommendations and "low down" on the area grocery stores, etc, just right

JUST BE AWARE:

Bring your own shampoo & soap, it's not a hotel. I did, but the guys in my group did not

If you HAVE to be at the mountain, this is not the spot, but for anyone else wanting to relax after a great day of activities with a great view and a quiet community, it's perfect.

It's the first time I used VRBO, so not a lot of experience with it - I was a tad uncomfortable paying the full amount up front via PayPal (as opposed to a percentage upfront to reserve, then remaining due later), but everything turned out just fine.

Cleaning fee will be added on top of the rental rate. Though... still a great value .
