For nearly 100 years, I have sat at the water’s edge on Morro Bay. I am a romantic guest hideaway for lovers … lovers of nature, art, thought, books, wine, adventure, discovery, solitude and soul, but especially for those who love and love to nurture themselves.
There are no jangling phones, blaring TVs, traffic sounds or other intrusions. Instead, I offer you the rare opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, and quiet. You will hear the distance sound of waves crashing on the beach, and the shorebirds as they forage for food in front of my deck. I am your refuge and your retreat for exploring all that is around me, and all that is within you.
Every house has a story. I invite you to visit, and become part of mine.
As you approach the first time...you gaze upon my small green façade and begin to think of the potential that awaits now just out of sight. We both, you and I, stand on the edge of transformation … for we are about to begin a memorable experience with one another.
I have a tale to tell, my very own…won’t you come inside awhile and help me sing my song?
I may be just a small beach cottage, but step through my purple entry and you’ll be welcomed by an eclectic mixture of art and antiques collected by my family over three generations and lovingly displayed to create a romantic and intimate environment to inspire you during your stay.
I have seen and heard many things in my four score and 15 years. Like all places where people dwell, there is a spirit here that has been shaped by the personalities, conversations, and temperament of those who have spent time within my walls. I have been occupied by children, parents and grandparents.
My family has studied for tests and entrance exams here, and baked more pies than you can imagine. My visitors have included travelers, adventurers, famous authors and song writers, renown painters, one of America‘s most celebrated outdoor photographers, naturalists, newlyweds … and by my owners’ generations of artists and lovers of life. All of their presence lingers in the air, and invites you to both partake and contribute your own essence to my evolving character.

I am halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, quietly sitting between the Pacific Ocean and the rolling hillsides of open ranchland, in the small town of Los Osos. Nestled along the southern tidal estuary of Morro Bay, I sit on the smog-free coast of Central California. I'm just 20-minutes from San Luis Obispo through lush agricultural and cattle grazing countryside.
