About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedroom + Loft, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 2-6)

This cabin is next to Almost Perfect and is approximately 1789 square feet.

As you enter this stunning log home you will first enter into the full kitchen with all the necessary appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils to prepare a romantic dinner for two or a hearty family feast. Enjoy your dinner in the dining room or carry your plates into the comfortable living room to enjoy in front of the cozy fireplace.

The master bedroom features a Aspen Log king-sized bed and a full bath.

Upstairs in the loft area you will find yet another Aspen Log King bed and a pull out sofa. The second bathroom is also located in the loft. Here you can let the jetted Jacuzzi tub soak away all your troubles.

The game room will call out to that little competitive spirit that lies inside of all of us. From a game of pool, air hockey, classic video arcade, let the competitions begin.

After the competitions, enjoy a glass of wine on the wide, expansive deck and watch the sunset over the mountains or take a dip in the relaxing hot tub. Perhaps you are an early riser? Enjoy a fresh brewed cup of coffee as the first rays of bright oranges and reds begin peaking up over the horizon and a beautiful sunrise unfolds right before your eyes.

Although we cannot offer you a little peace of heaven, this cabin will definitely be ALMOST HEAVEN!

wonderful location great view comfortable and relaxing cabin

  • 4 of 5

Staff was very helpful when we couldn't figure out the tv remote! Only thing I would say they needed would be a few more dishes and an instruction sheet on using things in the cabin like the tv remote, how to turn on ice maker or hot tub. Thanks for the very nice stay.

Fabulous retreat!

  • 5 of 5

My family of 6 and I just spent a week at Almost Heaven and we LOVED it! The house was clean on check-in and the location was terrific. The kids loved the game room/upstairs bedroom and hot tub. If I had any complaint (but complaint is too strong of a word) it would only be that the downstairs bed in the bedroom was very squeaky, making it hard to sleep and the sheets didn't stay on the bed very well. Other than that we loved our stay and hope to make it back soon!

Very clean

  • 4 of 5

Everything on our stay was great if you plan on doing a lot of cooking you might bring some extra pots and pans also she plan on using the hot tub more than once or twice in a day we probably need to bring a couple of good size towels it would be great if it had a gas grill as we brought steaks for one night to cook and it was a little too cold to fire up the BBQ grill outside and cook on charcoal overall our stay was great very clean and organized and spacious would definitely recommend it to anyone. Also would be nice if check out was 11 instead of 10.

Almost perfect!

  • 4 of 5

We drove from Texas to spend a couple of days hiking in GSMNP. The cabin is just a couple minutes from Pideon Forge which means you are a couple of minutes from everything you need. It was beautiful inside and out. The cabin was clean. The kids loved the air hockey and the pool table. The hot tub was clean and hot, two pluses. There is seating for 6 around the dining room table, not the 4 that is pictured on the webpage. There is plenty of seating for relaxing at the end of a long day of hiking. The bedding was comfortable and it was nice to be able to do a load of laundry before the long drive home.

There are a few reasons that I only give this 4 stars. The first being the kitchen. It is small, which is doable, but it is not stocked for much more than boiling water. We have 4 young kids so the last thing we want when they are all tired from hiking, is to try and wrangle them at a restaurant. So if you like to prepare your own meals while on vacation, or plan on entertaining a few people, you better bring your own equipment. There are very few pans. No spices at all. And there is no sponge/scrubber if you need to was something by hand. The second is the lack of window coverings. This is a plus during the day to allow you to enjoy the amazing views. But if you like it dark in the morning while you sleep, you won't get that here. When it gets light outside, it is light inside. You might need an eye mask if you want to sleep in and you can't handle light. Also, the TV in the main living area downstairs couldn't get a signal from the dish. But we were mostly upstairs so it wasn't a big deal.

We loved our visit to the area. If you are like most travelers and plan on eating out every meal, and you don't mind some light in the mornings, this is a five star stay. But even with those I give this 4 Stars.

Love this Place!

  • 5 of 5

This was one of our getaways for the weekend! I have decided on this cabin after I saw the pictures and I can tell you I am glad I did! The stay was extraordinary, from the time we had check in to the time we have checked out. The amenities this place had were very great and we particularly loved the outdoor Jacuzzi with the great views. The cabin was immaculate and we also met Hope the person in charge of the cleaning of the cabins, which was so nice and accommodative. One thing I should mention is that we have learn that if you live close enough they have a ongoing special for $89 if you book your stay one day before arrival. One more thing to mention is that the staff can give you great ideas of places to go visit, such as Cades Cove and Tuckaleechee Caverns.
