gorgeous property, amazing quiet location and fantastic experience to wake up to the sunrise through the wooded landscape each morning. house is clean and modern but inviting, not cold or sterile. very communicative and welcoming host!
This is a lovely house! The windows give the experience of being in nature and walking around the grounds is really peaceful and beautiful. We were very comfortable there and it felt as though we were on retreat. Will definitely come again!
We loved our little weekend in the Glass House, amazing property and environment. The host was very communicative and helpful. The only point is we never managed to lock the front door.
For those of us who live in big Cities. This is truly a rare find! It’s so different and so unique! We were thrilled with the view and massive outdoor space. We love it so much! We will keep this house when we are in the area in the future!
House is exactly as pictured! It’s beautiful, quiet and secluded! It’s about 10-15 mins from town so great location! As mentioned in other reviews, the furniture is old. It feels a bit like staying in a museum. And kitchen is more of a kitchenette. Wouldn’t plan on doing much cooking here. Most importantly, the beds are comfortable! None of the doors lock, so that can be a little concerning. Overall, our family enjoyed the serenity of the house, game nights sitting on the floor pillows in living room without the distraction of TVs, and the incredible views!
The drapes in the glass house are old and don’t fully cover the glass walls in the main bedroom so the sun light wakes you up bright and early. The outdoor seating is old and broken, interior seating is too hard and uncomfortable to sit on, yes it’s curated but not comfortable. The landscapers were there very early two days disrupting our privacy and peace and quiet. The overall setting is stunning but I would not recommend staying there.
