The house is in a very quiet neighborhood and had lots of space. The grandkids loved the 3rd floor to hang out in. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, glasses and pots and pans. There are a lot of stairs so you’ll get your exercise. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and we enjoyed walking out to the sandbar at low tide. The owner was very accessible and responded quickly to our questions.

Perfect vacation

The house is open with areas you can still gather as a family. The third floor open deck perfect for the afternoon sunbathing. Beach within walking distance. Quiet neighborhood. Cant wait to visit again

Great decks

It felt like home, very comfortable, clean, and well taken care for with all the comforts of home. The views of the salt pond from the decks was great and the neighborhood was quiet and the people were friendly. My only suggestion would be to add a Keurig. If we come back to the area again next year, I would definitely stay here.

6 adults living it up

We all are retired in our early 60's and just needed a good break from everything. It was extremely clean and very quiet. The home had everything you could need. Short walk to the beach. Restaurants were great. Especially CHIPS and BILL'S. Lots of stairs from level to level but we didn't mind. AC was 2 zone and perfect.

Exceptional!

The location is great being steps from 2 private beaches. This is a welcoming, quiet community. For walkers, there is a short, beautiful shore line walk to the town beach with nature at its finest along the way. In addition, are the sights of the Marina and Cedar Island. The 3 decks on the house provided exceptional views. The house was welcoming, warm, very clean and comfortable. This home provides everything that you need for a wonderful, relaxing vacation plus more, I hope that we will be able to experience it again in the future!

Wouldn’t stay again

While the house was lovely, the property manager was extremely rude and offensive. When I wrote to them with a question and to let him know the cleaner had not done a great job he told me he was offended and that I could leave early. I’ve rented many properties and have never been treated so poorly.

Never Arrived due to major problems with property

Approximately 6 weeks before our intended arrival we were notified by the Property Manager that there were major plumbing and septic problems. This was caused by unusual heavy rain during April, May and June. Therefore the property was closed until January of 2014.

Wonderful beach house in sweet location

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this nice beach house. From the initial booking until check out, the property manager, Reid, was readily available and quick to respond to any question from the initial booking all the way through to the end of our stay. The house was well thought out and worked well for our group of 4 adults and 2 teens. The house was very clean and well-stocked and provisioned when we arrived. Everything in the house worked well and we appreciated the air conditioning which kept the house very comfortable day and night. All the floors and decks meant everyone could find a quiet place to hang out, although we were often on the go walking around the cute little beach neighborhood where the house is located or at the beach itself, or going to get ice cream or seafood at one of the close restaurants. The town of Clinton is small but has grocery stores, a great town boat launch, some small shops and galleries and many other amenities. We had a lovely and relaxing week and would definitely book again!

Beautiful home we really enjoyed the beach and the area. We were able to enjoy A few new restaurants. The views were wonderful. Lots of Light throughout the home. Perfect for a family gathering !

Spacious Beach Home, Clinton

We really enjoyed our 1 wk stay at this large Clinton Beach home ! This home was spacious, very clean, cool (great AC) and well equipped. It was bright and sunny with gorgeous views from inside and from two expansive porches. We entertained our large family for dinner one night with ease and very comfortably. (Although I did need to borrow a large ceramic platter) We were able to squeeze 5 cars in the home's parking area. The upside down foot print of this home means you can really enjoy the great views but must also be prepared for climbing the stairs a lot (bedrooms and bathrooms are on 1st level, while living room, dining and kitchen are on 2nd level) We wished the LR TV and the 2 burner BBQ grill were larger but we certainly made out fine with those provided. The master bed was very comfortable, although the fitted sheet could have been larger because it kept popping off the corner and creeping up the sides. We would happily rent this place again. Thank you for a wonderful stay !!

Wonderful location for walkers and bike riders

The house is perfect for families that want to walk or bike; it's close to wonderful beach front state parks. The owner responded truly in seconds to a check-in question. The split level house may be challenging for people who can't handle a lot of stairs. No desk for mobile workers. (We ended up buying a portable one). Overall, this house is roomy and in an wonderful location within walking distance of downtown Clinton. We'd stay again.

Great Spacious Home

Short walk to a small beaches, but lots of fun at low tide on the sandbars. Nice cool AC and spacious living area. Very comfortable with 5 adults and 2 kids. Parking for 3 cars, 4 cars would be tight. Space is light a airy and great lot of windows. Easy to get to town and main roads. A little confusing instructions from owner on sweep cleaning vs. no cleaning fee (we were charge a cleaning fee). They need to update the instructions.

Perfect getaway

Great House

We took advantage of the off season one last time before our oldest starts kindergarten. We hit the weather lottery the week we were at this house. The house is fantastic and well equipped, one of the best rentals we've stayed in. We loved the small association beach nearby and it was perfect for our kids. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Deep association beaches so there's plenty of sand even at high tide. During low tide you can walk out hundreds of feet. There's tons to explore in this area: a winery, unusual shops, and the towns of Guilford and Madison.

What makes this property unique

House is located in a small network of tiny roads with virtually no traffic - extremely safe and kid friendly. There's a nice flat back yard for a game of softball, and the 2 association beaches are less than a 1 minute walk. With 3 separate decks you can either join the group or read a book quietly.
