A well laid out home that provides plenty of space and comfort for a larger group. The location has plenty of nearby things to do and has ready access to one of the best fishing lakes in Minnesota. A true gem.
This was a great location to Walker & to Itasca State Park. There is 2 places to have a bonfire, which was fun. The kitchen was well stocked & the grill worked great for our cook out. Kids fished off the docks and even caught a turtle! Communication was wonderful. We would rent here again.
Our group had a great time staying here. Plenty of space for a bigger group and a big bonus was having a heated garage to be able to keep our snowmobiling gear in!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home near Walker, MN. The house was spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating our family of 11. We loved the great view of the lake, though be prepared for a small sloping hill to reach the water and docks. Across the street, we enjoyed easy access to the bike path and a small golf course, which added to the fun. We did our swimming at the nearby sandbar. Overall, a perfect spot for family gatherings with plenty of room and activities close by.
This house had everything we needed for a wonderful visit with friends. Lots of space for adults and kids to hang out, a well appointed kitchen, beautiful lake views and a cozy hot tub!
This was a nice getaway for five adults.
Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and bedrooms. We went ice fishing for a few days.
Quiet getaway!!
We had a great time in Walker. When we couldn’t get the air working on the first day the property owners were super responsive and got it up and running for us.
There were 14 of us in total between adults and children and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and have privacy if needed.
We had a good time and the property was nice. There were a few things that were broken when we arrived but did not effect the stay. Overall the house was nice and located in close to the lake that we fished on.
The home was beautiful with lots of room to speed out but also all come together for meals & games. The hot tub was a great addition. Very clean. Home is as described. Easy check in & out.
The house was well built is what my nieces husband said he is a builder.
I loved waking up to the lake view every morning. The two docks were nice to have with all the fishing people. The children loved the small sandy beach to play on. There were 12 of us and it was very comfortable for all. Molly and Ryan are very lovely and helpful people. We truly enjoyed our stay.
Had a ladies weekend there, the location was perfect as it was off the main drag of town but close enough to get there quickly. The beds were not all washed, but in the instructions for the house it stated to leave any "stayed in" beds un made so that they knew which ones were slept in, so maybe the previous VRBO renters ended up making those beds instead of following the instructions. In one bedroom there was a sticky spot, a beer can and a used sock under the bed - we daren't touch it, but it made for funny conversation about previous stayers! Overall the place was nice, had plenty of amenities, we had a blast with the karaoke machine and the hot tub. Made for a really fun stay! Would stay there again.

Tired
The home was tired. Needs upkeep and updates imo. Hot tub thermostat must have been broken because the water temp was way too hot to enjoy (I have a hot tub of my own). During my stay I kept taking pictures of rooms and conditions around the property that were broken or in disrepair so as not to be blamed for them. Likely will look for alternatives if I rent again in the area.
We very much enjoyed our family vacation in this home. We had 3 generations with a 5 and 15 year old.
The house had plenty of space for us to relax together or get some individual quiet time. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking pans, dishes, coffee maker and Keurig. Bathroom had hairdryer. Extra folding tables and lawn chairs all made for great versatility during the week.
We really appreciated having the garage open and available for our use.
I would say the website pictures of the dock area are a bit outdated as there are two docks (one we did not use as I assume was for neighbor) The dock we did use had more weeds than in the picture but worked well to dock our rented pontoon boat. Just an FYI, the walk to the house from the beach has steps and an incline that could be difficult for folks with mobility issues.
We brought our own kayaks and the sandy beach area was great for launching them and for the 5 year old to play.
The bay was good for kayaking. We loved the Sand bar for swimming and playing in the water. Although the home is next to a resort the neighborhood was very quiet. No loud parties.
Walker is a cute little town with nice farmer's market, brewery, shopping, Green Scene foodie, and plenty of places to eat. Walker Bay public park and swimming beach is very nice and has live music on Thursday nights.
Molly was easy to connect with. Thank you for the use of this home.
Overall great!
Appliances glitchy at times
Great response from owners when contacted
Thank you
