I do want to clarify for future guests that our listing and house rules clearly state that parties and events are not permitted. During this stay, there was an attempt to host an unauthorized party, which we were unable to allow in order to protect the property and maintain a respectful environment for the neighborhood. Regarding the condition of the home, we take maintenance seriously and address any wear as it comes up. We appreciate the note and will continue making improvements. We strive to be transparent in our listing and provide a comfortable, well maintained space for all guests who follow the house guidelines.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear parts of your stay did not meet expectations. For clarity, guests do have access to thermostat controls during their stay and can set the temp within a preset limits. At the time of your visit, outdoor temperatures were forecast to drop below 60°F, so the system was set to heat to keep the home comfortable. You insisted on the air conditioning, which we explained would not be appropriate given the weather conditions and the heat wouldnt automatically come back on during the night, and then became frustrated that it was cold. Regarding the camera, it is required for insurance and liability purposes and monitors the entire backyard area for safety. Its placement near the hot tub is simply due to where the power line was already located for the hot tub, not to monitor hot tub use specifically. This is disclosed in the listing. We appreciate the note about the kitchen pans and will review and replace items as needed. Feedback like this helps us continue improving the experience for future guests.

We are four unrelated adults who had a week-long conference at the Gail Miller Conference Center at SLCC Sandy campus. The 4-bedroom 2 1/2 bath house is just over a mile from the venue, so many days we walked to and from the conference. It was very pleasant in mid-September. This was a great setup for us. We enjoyed the coffee that was provided and made use of the refrigerator. The bathrooms are very nice. We had no issues with any of the appliances. The air conditioner kept the house very pleasant.
