Remodeled 3 bedroom rambler in the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. 8 miles to Snowbird and Alta Ski Resorts, 20 minutes to Brighton and Solitude Ski Resorts.

The house has a full kitchen, family room, living room with a wood burning fireplace, dining room, master bedroom with a private bathroom, two guest bedrooms that share a main bath with a jetted tub. (There is now an additional Master Suite that can be rented for $30/day+$40 cleaning fee) To add this room contact owner after booking.

Close to grocery stores and restaurants.
25 minutes to downtown Salt Lake City.
Bus service to ski resorts within walking distance.

A one-minute drive puts you at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon on your way to Snowbird and Alta ski resorts. A few miles farther will take you to the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon home to Solitude and Brighton ski resort. Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, and more! The resorts of Park City are only 30 minutes away via I-215 and I-80.

The house is in an ideal location for you to enjoy everything the canyons have to offer.

A comfortable home in a comfortable neighborhood

We spent a great ski week here. Slept our four adults with room to spare. The owner stocked it well with cleaning, laundry, and kitchen supplies. Kitchen cooked well. Garage was great to have when it snowed. Pool table was fun. It is pretty wired up with exterior cameras and ring devices inside and out.

Perfect family getaway

Lovely house at the base of cottonwood canyon. Easy trip up to ski at Snowbird. Ski shop and grocery store super close to the house. Also only 20ish minutes to downtown to enjoy a hockey game. The house was clean and had everything we need to cook meals for our family. Enjoyed the quiet nights by the fireplace and beautiful mornings enjoying the mountain views.

Excellent Home in Sandy

We stayed here for a week while visiting family in Sandy with our two young boys (ages 5 & 7). It was a wonderful location for us because it was close to our family & also close to the ski areas. The home is wonderfully spacious with all the amenities we needed. The host is very responsive & we appreciated the driveway and walkways being cleared of snow after a heavier snowfall. But what stood out the most was this home is the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in!

Felt like Home.. will be back

Cherri made our stay very comfortable and user friendly... all the usual challenges of renting short term were easily overcome and the place provided a great home-base for our ski trips up the cottonwood canyon... comfortable beds, steaming hot showers with great pressure, a lovely fireplace just to name a few... also was great to have the additional suite option because an additional friend showed up to escape the fires in Los Angeles last minute.. you know how ski trips go.. thanks Cherri!

Just like Home

The property was very nice and comfortable. The only thing that i was unaware of was the slope in the backyard but we worked around it. The owners worked with us for the gathering we were having. We had the time of our life and thank you for working with us. Would definitely recommend this l property and would stay again.

Great getaway

Super convenient excellent location to access anything we wanted in Salt Lake but yet out-of-the-way really felt like home very clean. Enjoyed it so much.

Nice home in a good neighborhood

I have to say this home has the most comfortable beds and pillows I've ever slept on. Usually, when I come home from a trip, I am thrilled to be in my own bed. But, I missed these beds my first night at home. lol. The home and clean and comfortable. Some of the decor is a little dated and the TV in the living room could use an upgrade. However, the kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed our stay.

nice house in quiet neighborhood

The house was clean, with comfortable beds and furniture, and in a quiet neighborhood. It did get uncomfortably hot in the late afternoon and evening due to sunlight through the windows. We didn't use the grill because the grates were rusty and dirty. As another reviewer commented, there weren't any serving bowls. A sheet of instructions for the thermostat and TVs would've been helpful. But, all in all, we'd stay here again.

Mountain Access

We loved the location of property. Very close to ski resorts and evening activities. Property was very clean and comfortable. Downstairs there is a pool table which was a great way to spend the evening. Overall a very good value for the price.

5-nt ski trip

What we liked best about this property was its location for skiing at Alta & Snowbird, and the good communication and friendliness of the owner. It was nice to have the garage to store our ski gear, even though our SUV was too high to fit. Very convenient to little cottonwood canyon, and there was a Smith's grocery nearby. It could maybe use a few more pieces of flatware and bowls ...we found ourselves using the dishwasher often to have enough clean to use for our 2 meals per day that we ate in. Lower level was chilly, but we only used it for the laundry and a couple games of pool. I would stay again.

Wonderful home close to ski resorts

My group of six had a great stay at Cheri’s property. Cheri was easy to communicate with and extremely helpful when we needed her. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of dishes, mugs and cups for all of us. We rented the additional master suite in the basement and had plenty of room to spread out. The pool table was a nice surprise that got a lot of use! Having a washer and dryer made packing so much easier. I hope we can return next year when we come back to Utah for our annual ski trip.

Nice stay in Sandy Utah

We enjoyed our stay at this place in Sandy Utah. It is in a great location for the Cottonwood canyons for skiing which is how we used it. The carpet is new. The kitchen was overall well stocked for basic cooking. oversized couches for viewing the TV. bedrooms and baths are good. Master has a walk in shower and the second bsth has a jet tub and showercombo. The use of the garage is much appreciated and helpful for storage of ski equipment. There is a full lower level which we did not use but includes a workspace and pool table. I would recommend this place and stay here again.

Great Stay

I've recently rented this house for a skiing trip with my family. It's very clean and feels homey. It has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The garage is a nice bonus and the location is great, just about 20-25 min to Snowbird/Alta.

Perfect location with a view.

This home was a perfect location for a wedding we attended at Snowbird Ski Resort. It was just a 15 minute drive to the resort. The home is very clean and exactly as described. The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed to prepare meals. The furniture & beds were quite comfortable. The owner was very quick to respond to questions. We had no issues at all during our stay and would most definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Sandy Utah House

This was our 2nd stay at this beautiful house. The house is super clean and very comfortable. The host is extremely nice and very responsive. We had a group of 6 so I would recommend adding the newly renovated down stairs master suite, it is amazing. I would 100% recommend this house, short drive to the multiple ski resorts and close to all major shopping.

Nice View

Nice view to look at sunup on the mountains. The kids had fun in the back yard. The beds were not very child friendly due to their height. We had the kids sleep on the floor as we were afraid they might fall out of bed (they are 3 and 5). Also, a few deck screws sticking out of the upper deck the kids had to watch out for. Plenty of room for the family.
