Not worth the hassle

Decent apartment with some issues located in a good building and neighborhood. Property manager has too many rules in place given the condition of the place and specializes in excuse-based customer service.

Good place - some issues

Overall, it was beautiful and it was luxurious.! There were a ton of rules to follow with fines attached. Check in went all wrong as the directions were wrong. I notified management and she said she would fix, but it was VERY stressful. We followed all the 10 plus rules with 100-250 dollars per violation charges if you didn't, which I have rented over 100 places before, and have never seen. There is a horrible odor in the closet in the guest bedroom from the neighbor's kitchen... Cooking oil and it's in the hallway so it is not a one time event. And on Monday even though WE had VERY strict quiet rules, the people above us conducted a cross fit class at 6 am - 7:30 am. No sleep even with a noise maker on. I realize management can't control them but I want to let you know, the neighbors can do what they want, but you are held accountable. Beds - fantastic! Towels- wonderful! The thing that was the worst - ONE key fob. Management explained why, but you can not get in, use the elevator up, the exercise room...etc... without the fob. We had to call each other and wait up till 1:30 AM to let others in. If you are a single person, no problem, but this really hurt our time there and we will never return.

Nice property -- extremely negative experience with owner/property manager

I stayed in the unit with my teenage daughter who was attending a sports camp at Tufts. We didn't spend a lot of time there given our schedule, but the time we were there was fine. The unit was exactly as pictured, clean and in an okay area. The bad experience began a week after our stay when the owner/property manager added fees to my account and messaged me to say that it was due to my having 2 adults instead of the 1 adult and 1 child I'd registered, and because I had a dog in the unit and hadn't paid a pet fee. Both assumptions were wrong: my 16-year-old was listed as a child because VRBO range is 0-17 and I don't own a dog and didn't have one there. I wrote back to explain this, but the owner/property manager refused to believe me. And it just got more difficult from there as I asked why she had made those assumptions. She claimed to have accidentally entered the unit and saw a man and a dog sitting on the couch. There was no man, no 2nd adult and no dog. There were other incorrect claims that followed about meeting me and the other adult in the hallway. It's so incredibly bizarre that it's hard to believe someone would just make it up to get more money for the rental. But, honestly, if there was a man in the unit during my stay or any other person going into or out of the unit, then that's also a big red flag. Either way, it was not worth the time and stress of constant emails back and forth, and I would not recommend taking a chance of having the same experience.

Roomy apartment with everything you need.

I would highly recommend staying at this property! It is a roomy 2bd 2ba apartment; it is fully stocked of everything you need! The kitchen contains all of the basic tools, spices, and cleaning supplies; there is also a nespresso machine and a toaster oven. I would recommend bring extra dishwasher pods. The apartment also has a washer and dryer, Laundry soap is not provided. Communication with the host was okay. I had to reach out to them 24 hours before check in so that I knew the procedures and rules. I was also surprised with being informed of the $15 a day parking fee upon arrival; I feel like this should just be included in the rental price. The apartment is very secure, you have to have a key to access everything! The apartment complex has a pool, a gym, ping pong and pool tables.

Beautiful apartment convenient to Boston

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo! Our family of 4 (teens and adults) spent a long weekend in Boston and opted to stay here over a similarly-priced hotel downtown. It was absolutely the right decision! It was extremely easy to get into and out of the city with our car. The property itself is beautifully decorated with all the amenities one could need to make their stay feel like home. The beds are supremely comfy, the kitchen is stocked with all the needed appliances and lovely touches like a welcome snack station, TVs in each room, and it was large enough for us to each have our own space. The apartment was spotless and you can tell the care that the owner takes in decorating and maintaining the property. Magalie (the owner) was extremely easy to get in touch with and responsive when we arrived very late at night and had a question about the parking, which was much appreciated after a long day of flight cancellations and an unexpected roadtrip. We could not recommend this property more highly and will stay there again next time we're in Boston!
