Brand new Nisswa area listing sure to impress! Newly renovated private peninsula cabin with lakeshore on both sides of East Twin Lake. Main lakeside has sandy bottom dock area. Right between the best of both worlds, 3 miles to either Nisswa or Pequot Lakes, right off the Paul Bunyan Trail, makes this location ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, families, and couples. Old cabin feel with all new finishes inside & out. Enjoy sunrises in the lakeside porch sipping coffee and enjoy lakeside sunsets at the fire pit or outdoor recreation/bar room. Gas fireplace in the living to take the chill off the rainy nights or Fall getaways. This cabin boasts lakeside bedroom with a queen bed, additional bedroom with two XL Twin beds, and one pull-out Twin trundle. Spacious and fully equipped kitchen stocked with all the home cooking necessities. Large bathroom with lots of storage for guests to feel right at home. Wi-fi and desk area for work from cabin option. Small garage on property was converted into a game room/bar for additional space for guests to retreat on rainy days/nights. Cabin does include a washer & dryer.
Bring your boat (or inquire about pontoon rental), suits, bikes, golf clubs, and walking shoes - you've found your home away from home!

Great cabin, great location if you love biking, kayaking, shopping and nice dinners out. We had a great stay with everything we needed, in a cozy updated cabin with a great fire pit overlooking the lake. Host was prompt with replies to our questions, easy checking in and out. Thanks!

Everyone in our family really enjoyed staying here. We wanted a quiet place where we could fish and swim. This was the perfect location. The extra space in the sun room and the extra building to play cards was great! This place was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our third summer staying at Eric and Laura's cabin and it's always a highlight of the summer for our family. It somehow keeps getting even better year after year! The pontoon rental option was a huge highlight and it gave us the chance to venture over to the cute sandy beach across the lake. As always, the property is super clean, cute, and well-stocked with everything needed to relax at the lake. You can tell they work hard to keep it that way. We'll be back again next summer!

Enjoyable stay!

The cabin was very clean, spacious and had many nice touches. We used the garage/bar to store our bikes, and hopped on the Paul Bunyan trail nearby to ride them.

Another great stay!

This was our second summer visiting this property and our kids are already asking to come back again next summer! Eric and Laura are great hosts and take such good care of their place - it's always really clean, easy to access, and offers such great amenities in a fantastic location. It has that great woodsy/lake feel, but still offers plenty of shops, restaurants, and activities nearby. We love it!

Gorgeous property and location

Enjoyed our 2nd visit to this beautiful spot. Great location and the cabin is fully stocked, clean and the grounds are well maintained. The hosts continue to make improvements. Enjoyed bonfires and card games in the game room which is a plus. This location is quiet and relaxing and a bike trail that is so close by. Great hosts! We hope to visit again.

A perfect location and cabin for a family getaway

A perfect landing pad for an active family with easy access to the Paul Bunyan Trail, dock fishing, swimming, paddling and more. Especially loved having the outbuilding to keep bikes and other toys secure and out of the way. Also key for anyone traveling with kids: a big shower, washer/dryer and well-appointed kitchen. Would absolutely recommend and hope to be back again soon!

Great Week At The Lake

We had a great time at the Larson's cabin. Everything was clean, modern and exactly as promised. This place was perfect for a girls’ weekend getaway! It was clean and comfortable. The lake was awesome. Access to bike trail was easy. Extra area of the bar was so fun to play games and laugh. Would highly recommend this place!

2nd stay & still in amazed!

Another cozy family weekend in the books! It was just as charming as the first stay. The kids enjoyed the fishing and swimming. And we were able to catch some pretty amazing sunrises with our morning coffee. Thanks for sharing your place with us. It was wonderful!

Gorgeous cozy cabin

This place was so beautiful and cozy! The room was facing the lake and we woke up to a gorgeous sunrise. We caught lots of fish! The cabin had everything we needed for the weekend and it’s close to lots of shopping, ice cream, restaurants and more. We did not want to leave!

Great getaway for the Family

The Cabin was perfect for a quick getaway with the family. It was in a perfect location for easy access to hiking and town excursions. The Cabin itself was in great conditon and had newly renovated feel. The owners even left a welcome gift which was a nice touch. The firepit was in the perfect spot for family fun and the view was amazing. I think we may have come at the perfect time as the fall colors were beautiful. We were so happy we chose here to stay.

Great updated property on a quiet peninsula.

The pictures are accurate but don’t do justice to how well the interior has been refreshed and how nice the view is from the fire pit and dock. Well spaced out from your neighbors so you have great peace and a sense of private retreat. Highly recommend.

2nd stay & another great time

This was our second stay here and I have to say my favorite part is walking in to such modern, clean and well-kept space. The lake is beautiful and the kids had a great time fishing and swimming. Comfortable beds and plenty of space. The kitchen is great too! The cabin is well situated between popular restaurants, ice cream shops and water parks. Beautiful views of nature. We will stay there a third time if we are lucky.

Best Cabin!

Our family of 5 enjoyed this cabin. Perfect location with easy access to the Paul Bunyan trail. The lake was so clear and nice to cruise around on with our boat. Eric is a great host and has thought of everything. The house is equipped with all you need to have a relaxing cabin getaway. Very clean and welcoming. The storage area was nice to put our bikes in and our kids loved the game room/bar attached to the storage area.

Pedal and Paddle

We loved how close we were to the PB bike trail and biked everyday with the kids. The girls loved how easy it was to bike to the playground (and ice cream). The kayaks were a great way to explore the lake. The owners pointed us to MN Traders which was a great stop for breakfast and coffee.

I have been fortunate to call the Nisswa area home for my entire life (with the exception of 3 years in the military). East Twin Lake has been one of my favorite lakes since I was a child. When the opportunity came up for me to purchase a small piece of the tranquility and great fishing I remember as a kid, I couldn't let it get away. My wife and I completely renovated the cabin, as that is my profession, but kept the small quaint cabin appeal.

The lake! East Twin is a great lake for fishing, boating, swimming and relaxing. The location of the cabin and the proximity to the Paul Bunyan Trail, cannot be beat!

This cabin sits on a peninsula. The west side of the property is on the bay side (also where the public access boat ramp is) and the east side overlooks the main part of East Twin. The main side has hard sandy bottom for swimming and dock ready for your boat.
