About Jenny Davis

Jenny Davis purchased this house in 1996

Why Jenny Davis chose Puget Sound North

We have lived on Marrowstone Island for 12 years. As world travelers, we feel Marrowstone is one of the most pristine places on earth! The natural beauty and peace of the island captured our hearts. While we need to live off the island for now, we hope to move back someday soon. In the meantime, we wish to share this lovely retreat with others.

What makes this house unique

The Nordland store on Marrowstone island provides visitors a real taste and flavor of island hospitality! Local wine and beer offered. Rent DVDs, boats, espresso or chat with locals. You can also purchase a dozen fresh oysters off the beach to take and BBQ! Delicious!

Wonderful place nestled on the bluff!

  • 5 of 5

This property is heaven on earth! It is nicely appointed inside and out. The view is marvelous and very interesting. Many ships in and out at all times of the day/night. A pair of eagles roost very close and can be heard chattering to each other in the mornings. Tranquil and quiet. I haven't slept that well in a very long time.We made most of our meals. The kitchen is more than adequate. We ( my adult children) went to Port Townsend for a meal and to hang out at the brewery. We also stopped in at my favorite shop: April Fool and a Penny Too. It was easy to find and I intend to book this place again!

Lovely Christmas retreat

  • 5 of 5

We stayed over a long Christmas weekend. The home is lovely; the living room/dining room with wraparound water views is particularly beautiful. The beds are very comfortable and the property is super quiet. We were happy to have such a well-equipped kitchen for the holiday meal preparation. The beach is about a 5 minute walk and very quiet--perfect for long walks with our dog. We look forward to returning to Marrowstone Island.

A fantastic home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

Traveling from British Columbia, California and Washington, our family gathered at this wonderful property for our early Thanksgiving celebration. The panoramic windows provide continuous entertainment as barges being towed by tugboats, heavily ladened cargo ships, a whale and several bald eagles swooping for a tasty treat went by. The kitchen is completely outfitted making our turkey feast preparations as easy as being at home. The beds are super comfy and with luxurious linens, it was easy to oversleep. The shower pressure is fantastic. Although there is an extensive library, games and VHS movies, we did bring an XBox 360 with HDMI cable and family favourite games from home. Between the raindrops we explored the nearby country store and were warmly greeted by the attendants. One evening we ventured into Port Townsend for a sumptuous seafood dinner at the Silverwater Cafe (highly recommend). Being our first time in a VRBO property, Jenny's home was definitely a winner and we all look forward to a return visit.

Well worth it

  • 5 of 5

Very homey and well maintained. This is a family home, not just a rental, so the kitchen has lots of everything, even spices, to make cooking more enjoyable. The front room and eating area was great for watching the ships pass by and the weather change. We stayed for 3 nights, and had wonderful views of Mt. Baker on two of the days. We walked the (very quiet) road in back, and along the nearby beach, and drove to other places to walk.

Relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented this lovely home for a couple of nights for some relaxing quiet time on the water, and it was just what we were looking for. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, it was very clean and comfortable, and the view is absolutely amazing. We walked for hours on the beach down below the house with our dog (beach access is just down the street from the house, very easy walk), and enjoyed relaxing in the back yard overlooking the water in the adirondack chairs. The Nordland General Store is just a few minutes drive away, and is a lovely old store with a nice wine selection, delicious smoked salmon, and all the basics and then some that you will need for preparing breakfast, lunch or dinner at home. If we return to this area, we would definitely stay at this property again. Thanks, Jenny, for sharing your lovely home!
