Private Balcony with Mountain Views; Close to Base Area & River Run Village!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 6 with 2 queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit features a private balcony with beautiful slope views. From the kitchen to the bathrooms, the entire unit features updated hardwood floors and granite countertops. Oro Grande is nearly equal distance from River Run Village and the Mountain House Base Area, and a short drive from Arapahoe Basin. Oro Grande Lodge also offers shared amenities, including an indoor pool and hot tub.

Entryway offers convenient storage for your gear as you come and go with a storage bench, hooks and closet. The living area features a Smart TV, surround sound system, queen-sized sleeper sofa all next to a beautiful gas fireplace. Additional sheets and blankets provided in the closet. The large sliding glass doors allow plenty of natural light, and beautiful slope views.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. The dining area comfortably seats six with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. Down the hall is the full bathroom with a shower/tub combination. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary bedroom features a Queen size bed and a flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination. The guest bedroom also features a Queen size bed and has a flat screen TV with bathroom access just across the hall.

**Please note that we have a minimum age requirement. To reserve this vacation rental, the paying guest must be 26 years of age or older. This property also requires a minimum of 2 nights to be reserved. If you reserve less than 2 nights you will be contacted and required to either lengthen your stay or cancel your reservation. This vacation rental is new to our management program. There are no reviews yet, but you can be the first to leave a review! We hope to see you in Summit County soon!

It was very clean and organized. We appreciated the multiple humidifiers. Other reviews noted that it was quite warm, and that was true. But there were several fans, and windows that opened in every room. Would stay here again.

I liked the location and it had good amenities inside the condo and an indoor pool and hottub which we used every night! The only downside was that it was overly warm inside. We had the heat turned all the way down and needed to sleep with windows open and box fans bringing in cool air. We had a nice stay though.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property very clean and nice but location with kids not ideal. Also the condo was so hot we needed to open windows every night and it’s on the main road so it was loud noises. Shuttle was always for pick up across street not good.

Thank you for your feedback. We do apologize that you found the property to be too hot. We do provide box fans in each bedroom to help with temperature regulation! There is another shuttle stop as well that is on the same side of the road as the property. It is only about a 3 minute walk from the property.

Property was clean, stocked with great kitchen stuff, great views, short distance to river run gondolas, indoor hot tub and pool, cozy, and nice bathrooms. Definitely would stay here again!

Great place

We stayed here during our ski trip. The condo was clean, spacious, it had everything you could think of from the kitchen to the bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay and it was a perfect place to stay with my family. The only issue was it was 80 when we got there and had to open windows while we were there to cool it down even though it was only in the teens and 20’s. Otherwise we be happy to stay here again.

Great location!

We enjoyed our two night stay. Across the street from the Keystone resort, restaurants and shopping. Only 20 minutes to Loveland ski area and Breckenridge. The only downside was the entire building was incredibly hot, it was difficult to cool down our unit even when we opened all the doors and windows. Overall we were very pleased with the accommodations.

Quick Trip

The property was very nice. We decided to come to the area a day earlier than planned because of the snow forecast. We booked the room the day before and everything went great. The only complaint we had was the condo was very hot.

Stay close to the chairlift

The apartment was very nice, well equiped and as described, only a bit too hot. The pool and hot tub were great and it has indoor parking. Walking distance to the Peru Express chairlift if snowboard you can do it in ten minutes. With ski boots you would probably prefer the short drive. Overall a great experience and I would recommend it.

Pleasant stay

Property is as described. Keep in mind: like other reviews, the temperature is exceptionally warm. This is likely due to the condo being directly above the pool and mechanical room. We managed this by leaving the windows and sliding glass door open, but you do hear some traffic noise. There is also a gentle “hum” that is noticeable when you’re laying down (due to being above the mechanical room). Didn’t bother us (similar to soft white noise), but it may bother others. One window in the master bedroom didn’t open (mechanical crank is defective). Kitchen was well stocked with plates, cooking dishes/utensils/etc

Reviewer Comments: Nice unit that’s very well equipped....stayed the month of September ...substantial highway noise...unit is hot as we needed door and windows open with box fans running....building being painted during most of our stay, they were noisy and smelly with paint fumes and exhaust....one inconvenience is the accessibility of the garage with luggage carts...had to take cart outside to the parking lot where we had to park car to unload and load...can’t easily take a cart to the garage...no elevator access....also HOA turned off gas fireplace half way through stay...

We do apologize about the temperature of this building during your stay, A/C is rare here in Summit County and that is why we do supply box fans as well as guest can always look at the map on our website for property location or call us if they want to be in a quiet part of Summit County! Well stocked with towels, bedding, seating for 6 at table, a garage for our vehicle, and even a locker in garage for ski equipment. Only complaint would be the heat in the room even though we turned thermostat way down, but we managed it all with cracked windows. Kitchen had everything except a cookie sheet, but didn’t change my rating of 5. Kitchen even had coffee filters, salt/pepper and other seasonings, and more. On day of arrival, I received a text with helpful info about the place, and surrounding area, check in and check out info, etc. I would stay here again.

Good, Bad & Warnings

Reviewer Comments: Terrible instructions! Given 2 different codes--not told we didn't need to pick up stuff @ lockbox location instead of keypads @ condo location. Not told about different keypads/codes for garage & building vs condo itself. Ski locker needed our own lock-NOT told! Clean rooms & kitchen well-appointed. Beds very comfortable but bedrooms were small. Pool small (only 1 person could lap swim at a time) & hot tub (only 1) also too small! No instructions for TV(problem @ all condos we've rented from SCRM. Rooms too hot! After turning down/off thermostat, room temps were still 70-80s. Needed to open windows to help but this increased road noise since condo was right next to main road (Rt 6).

Too hot to handle

After being charged $25 to check in 90 minutes early we walked into a hot box. It was close to 90 degrees in the Unit. We opened all windows/door wall (that worked) turned on the ceiling fan and got the box fans out of the closets. At night we had to close the door wall due to safety and snow was physically coming into the unit and it went right back up to 83 degrees both nights. We left a day early because it was just too unbearable to stay. No refund was given. Every time I called the maintenance number, or sent a msg via VRBO I was just asked if I needed fan. I had a 2 yr old child with me who was sweating in his sleep. I was using fans (both the ceiling fan and box fans) and had the windows open and no other help or compensation was offered. Miserable.

This property is professionally managed for the owner by Summit County Mountain Retreats. We are guest oriented, and we offer the following when you rent with us: hassle-free check-in and keycard pick-up, a generous supply of towels and an initial supply of consumables for your stay. We are also in the resort and have the longest business hours of any management company.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
