This guest contacted me within an hour of when she arrived. She said she had already checked all the beds at 4 pm and they all had hair on the sheets. I checked my Ring doorbell to confirm the cleaners did come and that they removed the old linens and replaced with new. (They do the laundry off-site so they can maintain sanitary conditions for COVID standards.) I also know that they will leave unopened items in the pantry and freezer as a courtesy if a guest arrives late and can use it. I immediately made arrangements for the cleaners to return and clean everything the guest complained about. I sent more than a few messages to the guest to confirm a time for the cleaners to return. The guest never replied to my multiple offers to have it re-cleaned. After the guests left, I went to the home to check on everything. The guest had told me she was going to just wash the sheets herself but then found hair in the washer so she didn't use it at all. So when I went to check on the house, the first thing I checked was the washer. Absolutely nothing in it! Spotlessly clean. I believe this guest had other thoughts in mind when she contacted me about the house. She told me they were leaving after one night and asked for a refund. I told her in my many un-answered messages that I would have the cleaners return and, if she allowed that, I was happy for her to continue her stay and would also refund her money for the first night. Since she never responded to me, I didn't refund her money. She told me she was checking out after the first night but she stayed a second night. I'm glad I didn't delete her front door code.! Again, I think the guest had other thoughts in mind. All my other reviews mention the incredible cleanliness of the house. And, since the Ring doorbell confirmed the new sanitized linens, the washer was clean, and the guest didn't respond to my many many offers to have the cleaners return, my only belief is that she wanted a refund based solely on her statements but didn't want the cleaners to return to find that there was no problem.
