The mighty Yellowstone River runs through Montana's Paradise Valley where the gorgeous log home resides. Our home is nestled between Aspens and Cottonwoods on 20 very private acres at the base of 11,000 foot Emigrant Peak. Take a hike down to Six Mile Creek and look for deer, elk, and moose.
We are just 30 miles north of Yellowstone Park and 5 miles from Chico Hot Springs Resort, where you can soak in the natural hot springs pool. While your there have dinner at the Chico Restaurant; one of Montana's finest restaurants. World class fly fishing is available on the Yellowstone River and its numerous feeder creeks including Six Mile. Daily Lake (5miles) offers boating, windsurfing and recreational fishing.
60 minutes away is the city of Bozeman with Bridger Bowl for downhill skiing. Also Montana State University, The Museum of the Rockies, and excellent shopping in this uniquely Montana city.
30 minutes away is Livingston a quaint Montana town with many art galleries, authentic western saloons, and great restaurants. Enjoy a special vacation in a truly remarkable place.
Note: There is a security video camera installed outside. The camera is aimed at the parking area, front door and bbq grill area.

Great place to stay for a great yellowstone experience
Beautiful log cabin with great views of the mountains. Although it was 30 + minutes to Yellowstone the drive was amazing and we saw so much wildlife even before we got to the park. There were deer every morning on our property.
Very quiet cabin, with a lot of wildlife around. Mountains as far as the eye can see. The cabin is beautiful, the basement has anything you want to play! Would definitely stay again! Thanks for sharing it with us
We brought some friends with us this time to enjoy this cabin. We did Yellowstone again, rented some E-bikes and had lunch at Chico's, and had dinner at the Sage Lodge. If you work it right, you can catch a glance at the Yellowstone film ranch. Just a great time in Montana.
Thia was a family trip to yellowstone. The house was amazing! Clean comfortable and so quiet! The kitchen is very well stocked with what you need for cooking. Never needed to contact the host, but im sure she would have been right on it, if anything was needed. Highly reccomend this house for a family trip!
This home was beyond what we had imagined. Every bit as beautiful and charming as we had hoped. Confortable rooms, gorgeous setting and views. It was centrally located to everywhere we traveled. Would definitely stay there again. Just wish our stay wasnt so short.
The pictures don't do it justice, this place was a little slice of heaven. Mary was wonderful to communicate with and the house itself had more amenities than I've ever seen in a VRBO. ALL the spices, including olive oil along with a full kitchen of every utensil imaginable, towels, plates, silverware, cups and pots and pans and then some! The bathrooms were fully stacked as well with towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and hand soap. The view off the back deck is absolutely beautiful, I think I left a little piece of my heart in those mountains. The creek and tipi were perfect for our adventure seeking kids. We also visited Daily Lake just a short 5 miles from the cabin which was pristine and quiet. The check in process was very easy and communicated well ahead of time. I would definitely recommend this property to all of my family and friends and would love to visit again!
We stayed here for the 2nd time and once again it did not disappoint. We were a group of 12 from Montana, Texas, and Colorado. We used this place as our home base as we floated The Yellowstone through Paradise Valley. I can’t recommend this particular VRBO more. It is well stocked, well air conditioned, and Mary is amazing to work with. Thank you for lending us your slice of heaven!
This is a really great place. Great views, nice location to visit Yellowstone Park, Livingston and Bozeman. You see deer and other wildlife right outside through the windows and off the deck with a great view of Emigrant Peak. Don’t miss the short drive past the cabin up Six Mile Creek Road to Daily Lake with a beautiful beach for the entire family. Also make sure to visit Follow Ur Nose BBG & Wild Flour Bakery a shirt 6 miles away. Smoked food at night and delicious bakery items and coffee in the morning.
We loved the cabin - perfect setting - stunning actually. Pictures do not do it justice. Remote enough to have privacy, but close enough to enjoy everything around: Old Saloon, Chicos, Sage Lodge, Tom Miner Basin, Livingston, Gardiner, and of course Yellowstone! Everyone was amazed at the landscape, stars, beauty of land, wildlife, Dailey Lake, etc. Great stay!!!
We arrived the place was dirty not ready to stay we waited the cleaner for 1 hrs before she started to clean and it takes about 2-3 hrs to clean the whole house and all was cleaned she didn’t vaccinate the house so we were outside the house just seating down so she can finish cleaning it .. its really a miss inside the house with garbage smells and the basement bedroom the door has no lock and lots of flies and lots of Rats 🐀 crawling at night and did eat our rice . Although the owner give as discount fir our stay but still we have to give a 1-2 rating coz we were disappointed when we get in the house was still dirty its not ready for us to relax and stay for the day . The cleaner was done like 7:30 pm and she didn’t even vacuum the house still dirty.
We enjoyed staying at the property with our kids and inlaws. The property had a great deck with a beautiful view of the mountains. There was a lot of games for the kids to play with and they had fun exploring the stream. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful place to stay with family!
We stayed with our three children ages 9,8 and 5 as well as my wife’s mother and father. The home had plenty of room, lots of games in the basement for the kids, acreage to play on that has a brook running in back of the decks and backing up to a larger creek. There was plenty of outdoor seating and extra propane for the gas grill. Kitchen was well equipped which was good as we had to cook nearly every meal due to the proximity to restaurants.
The home was beautiful and worked out perfect for us. We would recommend this for any family looking to stay. It’s about a 40 minute drive to the north gate of the Park, but it’s an easy drive with good scenery.
It was my 3rd stay at this property and every time it gets harder to leave. It is the most beautiful property and the house is stocked with anything you could need.
This cabin was furnished with anything anyone would need. If you wanted to stay in the cabin there were many things provided to do, such as ping pong table, puzzle, books, internet. The appliances were better than we currently have at our house. We had 7 people and I felt like we were NOT at all crowded, that it was as the state is, Big Cabin Country, I mean Big Sky Country. The views were magnificent, and the sound of running water could be heard from the decks, which was so relaxing. There was also pretty of wildlife to watch, such as deer and antelope.
This property was everything listed and then some! My dad, husband and children enjoyed playing frisbee golf in the mornings! Cabin was clean and had everything we could have needed!
We can’t say enough about the Grizmo property! 3 couples traveled to Montana for a wedding. We each had our own bedroom and bath. Views were absolutely stunning! Morning coffee and evening wine will not be the same without comparing our time there. Property was close to the lodge which made it easy for the parents of the bride (1 of our couples) for rehearsal and hair appts. The place was immaculate! Super clean. Well stocked. Host replied quickly and answered all questions. We grabbed stuff at Costco in Bozeman and grocery store in Livingston. Enjoyed trips to Livingston, Garndier , Yellowstone, Yellowstone Hot springs, Bozeman. Seen lots deer and elk near house. Highly recommend and would go again asap!
My family and I are grateful for the experience of the Grisamore property. Among the views including: the Absaroka Mountains, fresh air, wind blowing the beautiful, gentle aspen trees, the ability to go from sun over the mountains, to them disappearing in the clouds and rain only to reappear with a rainbow within a short period of time- it was a powerful display of nature and God's beauty.
We were pleased with the location near the north entrance to Yellowstone, even though it wasn't open due to the flood. The cabin was close to that and other places we didn't get time to appreciate such as Livingston. Even though it was a three hour drive to West Yellowstone, we did it twice- what scenery. YS is beyond description in its' beauty, and the Grizzly Bear and Wolf Encounter was great. Don't forget to go see the Museum of the Rockies. AND, don't forget to just relax at the cabin, enjoy the decks, and close your eyes and breathe.
The family stayed here for my son's high school graduation. The kitchen was fully stocked, the views, the porches, the creek...amazing. My family enjoyed spending time in this relaxing, beautiful place! Thank you!
This home might just be the best in the area. Your morning coffee will never be the same again. You can hear the rushing water from the deck, as well. Prime spot 30 mins from the North Entrance. This home has everything you would need and plenty to do onsite. Made us consider property in the area. The General store 9 mins away had everything we need to cook during the week. The Bakery is truly the best I have ever had. With an outstanding BBQ joint (husband/wife) joint next door. Both are closed Sun-Wed. What a great time as a family. Everything was made easy.
Stayed at the cabin for 4 nights while we visited Yellowstone. We had 6 adults, and we were all very comfortable. The cabin is located far enough from Yellowstone to get out of the crowds/ rush, but close enough to get to the park in roughly 30 minutes. Everything you need to cook meals is there. The cabin is amazing. Wonderful views. Check in process was very easy. Owners communicated the access code to the cabin approximately a week before arrival. Highly recommend.
The general cleanliness was not great. Bugs and debris around the windows, in the bathroom and the laundry area. For future use, the availability of firewood should be clear, that it is the responsibility of the renter. While there was firewood about 3 miles away, it was an inconvenience, especially to older renters.
It was everything and more! Friends and family are still thanking me for finding this amazing gem.
