Overview

About the property

Cabin, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 12)

The mighty Yellowstone River runs through Montana's Paradise Valley where the gorgeous log home resides. Our home is nestled between Aspens and Cottonwoods on 20 very private acres at the base of 11,000 foot Emigrant Peak. Take a hike down to Six Mile Creek and fish for trout or look for deer, elk, and moose.

We are just 30 miles north of Yellowstone Park and 5 miles from Chico Hot Springs Resort, where you can soak in the natural hot springs pool. While your there have dinner at the Chico Restaurant; one of Montana's finest restaurants. World class fly fishing is available on the Yellowstone River and its numerous feeder creeks including Six Mile. Daily Lake (5miles) offers boating, windsurfing and recreational fishing.

60 minutes away is the city of Bozeman with Bridger Bowl for downhill skiing. Also Montana State University, The Museum of the Rockies, and excellent shopping in this uniquely Montana city.

30 minutes away is Livingston a quaint Montana town with many art galleries, authentic western saloons, and great restaurants. Enjoy a special vacation in a truly remarkable place.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Hi Mary,

Haven’t really had a chance till now to tell you how much we enjoyed the Grizmo Cabin. It was more than we expected and everything we hoped for. Everyone was comfortable inside and outside. Thank you for sharing it with us! I hope that Lindsay found everything in order. We could have stayed another month we enjoyed it so much!

Thank you!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

  • 5 of 5

This house is awesome. So comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Works great for big families. Our kids loved the tipi, all the games, the ping pong table, ... We loved exploring the creek, the suspension bridge, and all the beautiful surrounding property. Fun things to do in the valley as well as Yellowstone National Park. Hoping to come back!!!

The view!! Not only is this house amazing the view is spectacular! Lots of room for three families to gather at the dining room table or on the decks taking in the best views! This house was the perfect location for us to tour Yellowstone, and go UTVing in the Mountains! Had an amazing time!

Outstanding Montana Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our stay at the Grisamore home and Paradise Valley. A beautiful, quiet setting with a great view of Emmigrant peak. It was exactly what we were looking for. Very comfortable and country classy. If you want to get away and relax this is the place. We hiked Pine Creek up to the lake and fished the Yellowstone. Rode horses at Chico Lodge 10 minutes away. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, comfortable home.

  • 5 of 5

This house is set perfectly in the country, with an amazing view of the mountains from the wooden swing on the porch. It was a wonderful stay at this cozy home. It was fully stocked with pots, bowls, etc...unlike some VRBO's that have barely anything. Everything about this house is amazing. The ping pong table was a definite perk! As was the walk to the river from the back of the house. The whole setting was beyond beautiful. It is the perfect getaway in Montana. Thank you! We loved it!

Mountain House

  • 5 of 5

Everything we could possibly have needed was there. We ate in four nights-the kitchen is so very well equipped! Our favorite part of this house is the 360 degree view! Beautiful landscape using those magnificent rocks! It is also located very conveniently to everything we wanted to do-Yellowstone, Chico's & Livingston. We'd go back in a heartbeat!!
