Don't miss this rare opportunity to stay in a classic Kitty Hawk cottage. Step into history—back into a much simpler time when the incredible ocean views were your best form of entertainment. You'll appreciate the modern amenities of this vintage home and you'll love being able to walk out onto the beach anytime you want.

Downstairs, there is plenty of parking space in the driveway along with 2 carports for covered parking. An outdoor shower makes it easy to rinse the sand off after a long day of playing on the beach. Enter the home through the covered porch on the first level. A cozy living area is the perfect place to gather around with your family and plan out your day. A fully stocked kitchen offers everything you need to prepare a delicious meal and the dining table makes a great spot for family dinners. To really embrace the classic cottage experience, step outside on your oceanfront covered deck and spend the day soaking in that ocean breeze.

When it's time to retire for the evening, choose between one of four relaxing bedrooms. Downstairs, there are two bedrooms each featuring a comfortable Queen bed. Upstairs, you'll find two rooms with Queen Beds and a Loft with 2 Twin Beds to provide plenty of sleeping options for the whole family! All bedrooms have access to a full bathroom on the first level.

Great Location - Simple OBX Fun!

The location was perfect - right on the beach and close to everything. The home was cozy and perfect size and layout for a family. It was just my husband and I this time around, but we would be very comfortable there with our four adult children. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your home!

This house is really beautiful with plenty of space. It is a short walk to the beach. We plan on going there again sometime.

Nice Place

This was a smaller house compared to some of the surrounding properties but it provided everything we needed. The "bedrooms" were loosely named, the one with the twin beds was more of a loft with 2 beds inside of it, connection 2 other bedrooms. I did appreciate fans in all the rooms though. The second "bathroom" was a plumbed utility closet, but as 5 guys, we used it as a place to discretely do our business without gassing the rest of the house.

Nice but not as expected

The place was cute and the inside was very clean.The pictures were a little deceiving as the rooms were very very small. I think we were the first ones in the place for the season as the internet was not on and took a couple of days to have them turn it on, and the dishwasher was broken. We could not open any of the windows downstairs, they were either broken or missing screens. The outside was not picked up and looked a mess.It is a nice place but I don't think I will stay there again. A little expensive what it was and with the issues.

Best beach house ever!!

Our stay was fabulous. The front porch sported our hammocks and gave us a relaxing way to listen to live music from the venues down the way. Back porch rocking was a pleasant serene start of the day with coffee and a great place to hose off after a fun day beach side. My whole family loved the cabin feel indoors and comfortable beds, plenty of space for a family of 8. Kitchen was amply stocked. How spacious the outdoor space was gave a feel of being the only ones on the island. One shower indoors didn’t bother us at all with the added garage full shower down under. Thanks for the stronger beach umbrella and chairs. It was an added touch. Will definitely come back to this house.

Great location but not clean

Unfortunately the property needs some attention such as a deep spring cleaning, dust caked on ceiling fan, bread (saturated with rain water) on outside deck furniture, deck chairs blown and blocking entrance, unable to open or allow windows to be open due to being broken. Extra vacuum just left in living room. Had hoped for more for the price. Most Disappointing VRBO a rental I’ve had

Amazing !!!!

This vacation was everything we hoped for and more ! The house is the perfect location on the beach. You feel like you are in your own private little paradise due to the empty lot next door and the next door neighbors a good distance away however conveniently located close to all the stores including a Walmart a few minutes away ! We enjoyed beautiful sunrises where we saw dolphins swimming , walks on the beach searching for shells and so many laughs !! The house itself was perfect for our mother daughter Spring Break trip , the 4 bedrooms were nice sizes and the 2 hallway beds worked perfect for the kids . I myself enjoyed waking up and being able to look out at the ocean and see the sunrise from my bed !! The 7 of us often enjoyed breakfast( bagels from Barrier Island Bagels ) on the roomy covered back porch and sunsets sitting in the rocking chair on the front . Over all this house is charming and quaint and made for a very comfortable stay . We will definitely be back !!!

Quaint Old Nags Head Cottage

What an adorable charming older cottage! Location was great in Kitty Hawk, very close to alot amenities! Great ocean views and nice porch to look at ocean. Water was rough so didnt get any chance to get in ocean due to Hurricane off coast but nice still. Few issues with cottage were lamps were all very hard to get turned on, loose parts where bulb screws in, kitchen faucet squealed whenever in use(maintenance did come to fix but continued after about 24hrs again). Windows need cleaning very badly outside, covered in salt so bad could hardly see out them. I feel that this cottage needs some personal attention as far as maintenance issues, a little bit of trash and old used towel around house and dunes area. Mattresses on beds are pretty worn out as well. Cottage sleeps 10 people in beds but has a very small bathroom on first floor, second floor guests have to come down stairs to use bathroom. There is a bathroom that is accesible from outside but its pretty primitive down there. Would be hard if all bedrooms were full with bathroom situations. Pictures make cottage look bigger than it really is. Very small dining area with big table. A little bit of a trek thru dunes to get to ocean but manageable. All in all a good stay but it was only 3 of us, if it had been more than say 5 people could be very tight!

Amazing Location! Great spot! Property manager issues...

The house was amazing. The location is perfect. The beach access and having your own private area was phenomenol. Falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of the waves crashing is . The house has its quirks and 1 bathroom is tricky but doable. The lsiting says theres an outside bathroom but it was locked so we didnt have access. Not a killer but the listing didnt match the amenities. NOTE** if you check in after seaside vacations closes, youre SOL for the night. We got in around 10pm to find there was NO amenitirs package, no sheets, no toilet paper, nothing! With no one to contact adter hours we were stuck sleeping without sheets the first night and had to rush to the store for toiletries, etc. Definitely started the trip off on the wrong foot. Then the dishwasher was broken but no one told us. A mechanic came in without notice and there was a sign left on the dishwasher out of order. Was very unprofessional and a bit sketchy to come home and find someone had been through the house without warning. The management responded and met up with us the next morning. Offered a late checkout as a solution (but not discussed. Only offer). We worked with them and didnt cause a ruckus since the effects are minimal. But still not to the standards expected when spending so much money. Lastly, recommended to take a screenshot of the equip rental money included. When rented we had 35 per night only for it to be completely removed for our stayscreenshot of the rental money pD
