★THE PROPERTY★
Our forest retreat is perched atop a wooded ravine with a view of the Sierra Nevada mountains to the east. Since purchasing the property in 2020, I've been lovingly caring for the land, hand-pulling invasive weeds, reseeding with California native and other beneficial plants, and tending the cherry, apricot, peach, pear, fig, and apple trees. From May until October there’s often fresh fruit or vegetables for you to pick and enjoy. The tea garden off the main bedroom is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, or pick some mint and oregano. The entire 3.2 acre property is enveloped by mature forest, inviting you to take a deep breath, and explore. Deer visit regularly, as well as foxes, raccoons, rabbits, and all manner of local wild birds.

You will have exclusive use of the entire house and tea garden, but you may see others on the property or by the pool. I live in the cottage down the hill, although I am often away. There is also a studio above the garage, about 85 feet from the house, on the other side of the circular driveway, where there are occasionally other guests. The studio may also be available for you to use for an additional cost.

★THE SPACE★
Enjoy your morning coffee by the pool and witness the sun peak over the mountains. Make family-style breakfast together in the well-appointed kitchen. Retreat to three relaxing bedrooms - the entertainment room has its own door and can serve as a 4th bedroom. The space can sleep 10 comfortably, so everyone has a restful night after a full day of exploring all the area has to offer. Or, break out the karaoke machine and sing the night away. Before bed, slip out to the poolside deck for the most breathtaking stargazing - well away from city lights, hustle, and bustle. If you'd like to sleep outside, we have a few designated spots where you can pitch a tent.

The property is protected by security cameras at the entrances and on the perimeter of the property (of course there are no cameras indoors, by the pool, or anyplace else you would expect privacy).
