When we walked onto the property, you walk onto a deck which overlooks a little valley and it’s a beautiful little valley where you can see deer at times grazing and it looks like it has a little bitty creek running at the bottom of that valley. It’s absolutely gorgeous. When you walk into the Rental, you’ll be walking into the bathroom area which has a beautiful garden tub and a huge window overlooking out into the valley area onto the back porch, the deck. The room has hardwood floors, which are gorgeous. It has a huge closet and comfy chairs to sit in to read or to do work on your computer. The room also has a microwave a refrigerator, a coffee maker and other accessories and it has patio doors from the room looking out onto the deck out onto the valley. We had one little mishap, but it was cleared up by the owner right away and our stay was so pleasurable. The scenery alone make this place a winner!

Right price

Clean suite, good location. Downside, plumbing a little dated and hard to work and no TV. For the price it was all we needed, coffee, good bed and clean.

Great deck for relaxing or morning coffee or evening tea.(though tea was not provided.)real half and half in serving portions is provided - a treat. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Temperature control on a very hot day worked perfectly. I adored the view and the quiet. I would definitely stay there again. Bring your own face soap as only liquid handsoap was provided.

We had a great time staying in Redding at this property. Roger was quick to reply and gave great instructions for entering the home. Clean, amazing views, and easy access to town and nearby outdoorsy activities. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Denise only stayed with us one night and we received zero communication from her before, during, or after her stay, so I'm not sure what her actual issues were with our property. Sadly she didn't give us a chance to make her stay more comfortable; we would have been happy to assist her. Everyone has different tastes but 2 stars seems quite harsh.

We enjoyed our short stay at this location. Traveling thru town and didn't want to stay at a motel. Very clean and the deck was an bonus. Just a short drive from downtown.

Lovely deck and bathtub

Very nice to stay here, the deck was beautiful with only hummingbirds for company. The hosts respect guests privacy well. The tub is huge !

Convenient location, would recommend

We had a great stay! Check-in was seamless and we were able to get peace and quiet with a nice view off the porch. It was about 10 minutes from downtown and a good jumping-off point for Shasta. Very clean and tidy.

Concrete entrance to stairs was broken up and dangerous. While the unit looked very good , the bed was very low to ground as was the toilet . Very difficult for seniors like us . In addition this is the first VRBO where there was no television.

Hi David, I'm sorry you didn't have a better experience. I do think your characterization of the stair entrance is quite exaggerated, and most guests seem to experience the bed and toilet just fine. Also, we don't have a television listed in our amenities, nor is there one pictured. Most guests connect their devices to wifi and use the internet to watch whatever shows they are interested in. Be sure to check amenities when you're booking a property in the future.

Very pleasant stay

This place was perfectly clean and well appointed. It's definitely an older hotel but it's had some updates and it's clearly well-maintained. I didn't expect much more than a place to crash but, for the price range, it was a 10.
