We’ve stayed here twice and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we get the chance. Very clean and spacious. Well stocked with dishes and kitchen accessories (pots/pans, etc.) to do your meals in. Hot tub is so nice to have access to. And the host is very responsive. Easy drive to town and around the lake.

First time in Big Bear

Our stay at gentle squirrel was awesome! As some of the first renters of this VRBO we found everything in working order and it was just right in terms of location to the lake, hiking and town. Would absolutely stay here again!

Just What We Wanted

This house was just perfect for our quick weekend away! Everything was great and the house and surrounding property were very clean and well maintained. The location was great as we didn’t want to stay “in town”. We hope to book again in the future!

Great Time!

Girlfriend and I had a great stay, back patio has room for the dog to play. The hot tub was nice under the stars and the fire pit was gas powered, so no permit required and no restriction to use. The place had plenty of games and corn hole which was also nice.
