Get ready to relax in this 2-bedroom chalet in Big Bear Lake. This lovely property features 1 queen bed and 1 dual twin bunk bed, perfect for a 5-person family vacation. With amenities like amazing lake view sunsets, a fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi and stackable washer/dryer, your stay will be nothing short of memorable. Book now and enjoy everything this chalet has to offer.

Located within several blocks to the center of The Village and just a five-minute drive to the Snow Summit Ski Lifts. Everything you will need is within close proximity once you arrive at our beautiful vacation rental. In the summer you can swim, boat, fish and sight-see from your own backyard. In the winter you can go skiing, snowboarding, sledding/tubing and enjoy the beautiful snow. This is lakefront at a fraction of the cost of renting lakefront.

Our beautiful lakefront chalet is one of three units on our property. There are two buildings on the lot. The 1st building facing the street has garages and a unit above. The rear building has two units. Our unit is the bottom floor of the rear building, which has no shared walls and a huge deck with unobstructed lake views.

The lot is over 9,000 square feet sitting ON the lake. The shared backyard is spacious and has plenty of room for activities while waiting for your next boat ride/water ski, your next big catch, snow play or simply watching the boats come and go just a few steps down from your own shared dock.

Just off the kitchen sits the deck, that includes views of tall pine trees and clear skies for stargazing or snowfall. Enjoy the sunset from the sit-down views, while melting away the stresses and strains of everyday life.

Parking: Our unit offers off-street parking for 2 cars maximum, (one garage parking spot and one driveway parking spot.)

"We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The lake views are simply stunning! It felt more like staying at a friend’s cozy mountain home than a rental, which allowed us to completely unwind." We even saw a couple bald eagles fly over while sitting on the dock. The home has a charming, 'classic' feel with older furniture, but it was very clean and provided every amenity we could ask for incision string wifi. Easy parking for 2 cars. Marina 2 minute walk away to rent a kayak or boat. Great location.

We enjoyed our stay at this lakefront chalet which truly had wonderful views of the lake, right on the water! The space layout was perfect for our group of three. It was clean, cutely decorated and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Host Kari was proactive and responsive, as well.

The location was awesome walking distance to the village and the bowling alley were perfect for the rainy days that we were there. The unit was spacious and had all of the amenities that we needed the coffee K cups were a nice touch. Much appreciated. Definitely will book here again

We had a very relaxing time with our dachshund. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Even a rice cooker. . We definitely plan on returning to enjoy the beautiful view and living accommodation.

Great unit right on the shoreline. Unfortunately for the owner, another permanent resident who lives on this property has more than extreme objections to the unit being used as a rental and went out of his way to monitor our activity as we departed. Although his driveway was unusable because it was surrounded with yellow tape like a crime scene and the car parked on it was covered with a tarp, he called the police to report that I was blocking his driveway because I had parked in front of it to gain closer access to my unit in order to more easily load my luggage as we were departing. When the policeman arrived to notify me of the complaint, I had already finished packing and had moved my car back to my designated parking area. He seemed embarrassed to tell me of the call because he stated they frequently receive such calls from this person. He wasn't going to cite me as I had already moved my car before he arrived but stated it was still his duty to tell me it was illegal for me to park in front of this driveway. True, I was blocking ingress and egress of this unused tapped off driveway with a tarp-covered car parked on it while I loaded my luggage, but if I had known I would be occupying a unit wherein I would be vulnerable to this kind of behavior, I would have certainly looked elsewhere. It soured our stay at this location, which was probably the objective of the man who was so displeased over the unit being used as a vacation rental. Mostly we feel sorry for the owner.
