Newly renovated, "The Poe", is a stylish studio located in the historic district of High Springs.
This pristine apartment has all of the amenities necessary for a weekend getaway or a month-long sabbatical for a Digital Nomad.
Exceptional internet speeds with Fiberoptic and a mesh network, 55'' OLED TV, and a state of the art Kitchen. All this combined with being only a four-minute walk to the restaurants and bars and a 5-minute drive to Poe Springs and the Santa Fe river make this pace the perfect spot!

I stay in High Springs for cave training and have stayed at The Poe the last two times I’ve gone and definitely will again in the future. Beautiful studio right in town. Close to dive sites, restaurants and Publix if you want to cook/eat in. 5 stars. Thanks again Shawn!

Cozy space for 2

We were in the area to visit the springs and The Poe was the perfect place to stay. Everything was clean and well kept. The kitchen has everything you need and the host even supplied a small cooler and towels for the springs. The host was easy to communicate with and friendly. We would stay here again next time!

Perfect!

We were in Florida to attend our daughter's graduation from UF and found this affordable little gem just 30 minutes from from the craziness that is Gainesville during graduation week. This is a lovely little studio located within walking distance of cute shops and good food. The property is spotless and the host couldn't be more accommodating. We especially enjoyed the outdoor living space. Highly recommended.

Perfect Studio!

The Poe was exactly like it is portrayed on VRBO. Exceptionally clean and was just what we needed for our weekend. From the Poe we were able to walk into town and enjoy the local shops and restaurants.

Best 5 Star Inn

From outside what looks like a small country cottage inn transforms to the nicest accommodations in the region. Shops and dining are all steps away. The studio has a gourmet kitchen and great bath with amenities. Don’t think about it, stay here for your visit to the Springs or the other Florida.

Excellent Alternative to a Hotel

5 days in the area visiting family. This was a clean comfortable accommodation. Hosts were very attentive. Downtown High Springs is a very short walk. I kayaked the Santa Fe river and enjoyed the springs. The turtles are amazing. Gainesville is easily accessible. Visited Amelia Island, Cedar Key, and then flew home out of JAX. We'll very likely return to the POE.

The property is super clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed are stay so much. The room is absolutely beautiful. The owner spent time in the decorating process. The property shows alot of beautiful detail. It is very well equipped with all necessities. I would recommend this place! It is lovely and the host is excellent!

High Springs Getaway

My husband and I recently stayed at The Poe absolutely everything was as stated. Fresh modern look as shown with many thoughful amenities. Shawn was quick to answer all questions. There is a nice front porch that was a pleasant surprise we will definetely be back!

What a little jewel! Such an adorable place that has everything you need for a short or longer stay. It’s so well decorated and enjoyable to just stay right there. We were greeted with water in the frig and the tv was on with beautiful art and music playing. The hosts were super attentive to making sure we were pleased with everything (and we were!) Great location from the historic down town area. Just walked to dining and cute shops.

This property is a great little place to stay. Upon our arrival the room looked and smelled great. Much attention to detail. The Poe has a cozy and natural feel with wooden elements in the decor and furniture. Very cohesive design. The host Shawn is a nice guy who is very easy to communicate with. He was able to give us recommendations for places to eat and visit. We would definitely recommend this place!

Great Place - Excellent Location

My husband and I used this property as a honeymoon spot to visit the nearby springs. It was perfect! The Poe was clean, quaint, and perfect for the two of us. The studio space was used well, and never felt cramped. They had a full walk-in closet with a dresser and many storage bins to make unpacking easier. The kitchen was equipped with appliances and cookware so it was perfect for making a few meals (and a coffee pot and kettle which was great for my coffee/tea loving self) It felt like a second home. Shawn is an excellent host. I don’t think I ever waited longer than 15 minutes for him to respond. Check in was easy and simple. They made sure we had everything we needed and routinely checked in to ensure we had the best experience. The best part of the stay had to be the location. High Springs is a beautiful little town with many places to check out only a short walk from The Poe. My husband and I got to go on walks around the area, chat with friendly people, and patron some great local spots! The Santa Fe River and many springs/state parks are only a few minutes drive away. We were able to go kayaking and explore the natural beauties of the area. It’s also a 30 minute drive from Gainesville Florida if you’re looking for a larger “city experience” by the University of Florida. Tons of great things to do in the area without ever feeling like we were in a “tourist trap.” Would definitely recommend and I can for sure see us staying again.
